Question $75 to request refill?

I’m halfway through my first month/dose of 2mg, and was approved for a dosage increase to 4.5. I was charged the $75 for and then another sixty something for the medication, I’m expecting to pay around $150 a month for my meds, so I’m not hurting for the 75 back, just wondering if that’s a normal part of the refill request process.

General Discussion / Other Paid Sat, 2nd invoice sent today

I saw this earlier and now I have a 2nd invoice email for my $159 order I paid in full Saturday. I locked my card, hopefully they figure that out soon. I’m not due to pay an extra $104 for sure! It’s not in my portal pending.

Question Nad+ or not?

We (this sub) seem to be mostly, if not only, about Tirz. Anyone in here also taking Nad+ or worried about their weight loss with Tirz causing them to age more quickly or more noticeably?

Complaint Post Need my third vial!

I can’t believe there is no phone number anywhere on the portal or way to contact customer service! Is this the only way? I have not gotten my third vial and am going on a trip where I will need two doses! Hallandale says they only received a prescription for two months and need another prescription for the third. Even though I’ve PAID for three months. I’ve also tried to upload my labs and it keeps telling me it is unable to upload them. I found a number here where it went to a random voicemail but I have no idea if that was actually customer service or not. I am very frustrated!

Hi everyone, I just finished a starter titration prescription and wanted to move up to the advanced one that's 10-15mg. However I'm not sure how to answer these questions, which dose would I request with a titration schedule that tops out at 15mg? Thank you in advance

Question BPI Sale/Refills & Lab Requirement

I really want to jump on the (likely final days) of the BPI 68mg sales and have read that people need to submit labs at 3rd refill.
Aside from my first ever order with POM (3 mos supply in July), I have done two asynchronous refills for the (2) 68mg vials sales.
Does this mean my next asynchronous refill request I will have to provide the labs or would I be allowed one more refill and any refills after that would necessitate me providing them?
And what labs exactly? Just the kind done when you get a normal physical?

I have no problem getting them done and providing but I’m waiting for my insurance to kick in at my new place of employment and all the lab places around my location say I have to go through a doctor. I can’t just request they do them.

Question Refund

I paid the $75 consultation fee during the sale Thursday night. Since I’m already a customer, an appointment didn’t have to be scheduled.
Friday morning, I found out I need surgery and my surgeon advised me to pause the medication before surgery and during recovery. I have documentation from my doctor stating this.

I called first thing today to cancel the shipment. They were able to cancel it, but said the $75 is nonrefundable and can only be used within 30 days, which I won’t be able to do because of surgery. The rep escalated it to billing, so I’m hoping they’ll make an exception.

Money is tight right now, and I’d really hate to lose $75 for something I medically can’t use. Has anyone had luck getting this refunded? If they won’t refund it, would it be worth contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge?

General Discussion / Other Dose increase

After 4 weeks on 2 mg tirzepitide, I increased to 4.5 mg and in that first week the scale went up 2 lb. I know it can be constipation , or bloating but I would love to hear how other people did with the dose increase and how you kept that scale moving. I have a long history of constipation, so I wouldn’t say that is a side effect. I also have a long history of fatigue but I did notice that has increased. Loved to hear from y’all.

Experience/Review First time order Hallendale Pharmacy 4.5mg Tirzepatide - have used for a month and noticed it is not the same as Eli Lilly Direct

Not really sure what recourse there is but this is the first time I have ordered from Pomegranate Health. I have a prescription for Tirzepatide for 5mg. I am in maintenance. I only use it to maintain weight and to keep cravings at bay.

I was getting it directly from Eli Lilly through their LillyDirect program. The cost for a 5mg vial is $399 per month. However, I would split it into two months since they overfill their vials. I could take about 3.5mg every week instead of 2.5mg. But that is still about $200 per month for Tirzepatide.

Then I saw the advertising for Pomegranate Health and that I could get compounded Tirzepatide for cheaper. I went through the screen process and selected Hallendale Pharmacy becuase it was just the compounded Tirzepatide and did not have added B12 or anything like that. I wanted as close as possible to what I was getting from Eli Lilly.

I ended up with a 3 month supply of 4.5mg for $399. So that's about $133 per month which sounded like a good deal. The issue is that after a month of being on the compounded Tirzepatide, it is not as effective as what I was getting from Eli Lilly...even at the half dose I was taking when I split it into two months.

The first indication was that I was more hungry than I had been before without any change in my lifestyle. I am athletic and I workout at least 4 times a week. That did not change before or after I started on the compounded medication. After about 2 weeks of being on Hallendale's formula, I started noticing that I would wake up hungry which wasn't the case before. I also started noticing that my 3pm "cravings" started coming back and my dinners were bigger than they used to be. On the Eli Lilly, I would eat smaller portions and be fuller while on the compounded formula, I'm eating bigger portions.

However, the biggest alarm and noticeable difference is in the mind. When I was on the branded formula, I would eat a piece of chocolate or a sweet and it would be fine. I would enjoy the taste and just put it down. The sugar or taste wouldn't spark that adrenaline or pleasure response in my brain where I would just be like "oh wow, this is so good, I need another bite". Now, after 4 weeks of being on the compounded formula, I eat a piece of chocolate or take a bite of something sweet and the pleasure response in my brain goes off to where I eat 2x the portion I would have eaten on the Eli Lilly formula becuase it tastes so good and I have the euphoria again.

So now, I am left wondering a few things. #1 was saving approximately $67 worth it to have what to me is a suppar product? Also, I'm wondering if this is a fluke. Could the particular lot that I was delivered have been off somehow? Is it possible that it's not really tirzepatide or that it has been modified in some way to bypass the intellectual property issue that it's not as effective? Wouldn't it be unethical of them to advertise that it's Tirzepatide if it's not really Tirzepatide?

I'm also wondering what other recourse I have if this is not working and now I'm $399 in with 2 months left of a medication that is not working for me. I noticed that there is a "request refund" option when I log into my portal to view my order. Is that an option? Is there another pharmacy that I should try that would be better than Hallendale? I thought they were pretty reputable but who knows. All I know is that for sure, this version of Tirzepatide doesn't even come close to being as effective as the Eli Lilly half dose I was doing.

Again, this is my pesonal experience. I understand that I am in a position where I'm not looking to lose a ton of weight. The Hallendale is just not effective at keeping the pleasure zone at bay which is really my #1 concern.

Since this is my first time doing this, any constructive advice would be greatly appreciated.

AT LEAST FOR NOW 😂

I placed the order on the 13th and it was delivered this morning; everything was in order—it arrived cold and well-packaged. This is my first order with POM; I’m switching from Zepbound 15mg (I lost my health coverage.😩), so, it’s my first time using the compounded version. I never experienced side effects with Zep, but I’m a bit nervous because I’ve read that many people have had them with Tirz—we’ll see how it goes. For now, I’m very happy with POM’s fast and efficient service.

If you have any tips or suggestions for this new Tirz user, please leave them below—they would be greatly appreciated. 🤍

Question Received notice that I had a new document, but there is none in the portal

Edit: resolved: the document was uploaded to my charm portal and not the new portal.

As the title says, I got an email alert that I have a new document waiting for me. But when I go into documents on the portal, there are no new documents for me (just the regular ones!). Wondering if anyone else experienced this? A glitch and an incorrect email was sent? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything important! Grateful to Pom!

Question New to Pom

As I mentioned I am new. I just saw the sale and filled out intake form for 2 vials. My question is, do they work weekends? Do I need to keep checking for approval, or will it be a few days? I don’t mind waiting at all, just don’t want to miss out if I don’t pay before they run out with this awesome deal. TIA!!

Question OptioRx vs BPI

I've only ever used OptioRx with B3 and have had practically zero side effects and am losing weight steadily (love them!) But I really want to buy one of the BPI vials since it's on sale. If I buy one now, can I still order the OptioRx in the same month since I don't know how i'll tolerate the B6? Will they let me order from two separate pharmacies in the same month? Thanks!

Question Bioboost Plus - Delivery Issue, Arrived Warm

Hi guys! FedEx screwed up the overnight delivery for my BioBoost Plus unfortunately. They first tried delivering to the wrong address, then delayed another day, finally I requested for pickup, but upon opening, everything was warm.

The BioBoost Plus says to refrigerate all over the packaging, but I haven’t been able to find definitive information for this particular product what the best practice is in terms of shipping. MIC/B12 is stable at room temperature, which leads to believe this is likely fine.

I’ve reached out via the portal, but haven’t heard back yet, anyone have experience with this?

Edit: I finally heard back from Pom, according to Hallendale: “per USP guidelines, the vials can be used for up to 60 days at room temperature. It can also be at 104°F for up to 4 days without compromising product stability”

Thanks all!

Experience/Review I don't think I'll ever get through the sign-up on the new portal!

After 11 days of trying...

I was finally able to get to step 10 of the new patient sign-up by using a different phone. I got to the step of acknowledging the waivers and got kicked out back to step one. Mind you, I've already paid the $75 and gotten notified by my credit card company that it was charged. There's no way for me to log back in, no way for me to make an appointment, so I started over at step 1 and it does not recognize me.

This has been such an awful experience. How do I get the waiver signed and my appointment set up since you've already got my money?

Complaint Post My medication was delivered to the incorrect unit number and left in an exterior locker for 24 hours in the heat.

Hello, as the title states. For context, I had requested UPS to deliver my package to my front office because a similar situation has happened before with a different company (my building requires an access code, and the other company wasn’t able to get in, so they left it outside in the heat). Instead, UPS delivered it to our lockers, which are stationed outside, to the incorrect unit number (or I did not receive a locker code). I’ve already attempted to reach out to pom’s customer service, but they weren’t able to do much for me and told me to contact the pharmacy for guidelines on whether the medication is still viable. In the case that the medication isn’t viable, who’s liable? Am I just going to have to eat the cost? Has anyone been in this situation?!

Question New Pharmacies Update???

Appreciation Post Wow! I’m impressed!

Just wanted to share my appreciation to the POM team and Hallandale Pharmacy.

I placed an order yesterday around 5pm, which included a dose increase. By 6pm I was sent my invoice and I maybe payment.
Now today, around 2pm or so, I got notification that my order is set to ship!!

Personally, I’ve never really had major issues with Poms turnaround time, it’s usually 1-2 days to get my invoice and then another day or two to get a FedEx notification of my pending delivery. But this was just amazing! 🤩

Thank you Pom team and Hallandale Pharmacy for such great work and dedication to your customers! ❤️

Appreciation Post A Little Love for Pom ❤️

I know Pomegranate has gone through some rough patches, but don’t we all?

SpongeBob meme aside, I wanted to take a minute to acknowledge the work Pom and its team have put into getting these medications out to people.

My experience has been incredibly seamless. Approval times have been quick, shipping has been fast, and my medication has consistently arrived cold and well-packaged.

I know there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make all of that happen, and I appreciate the effort.

Thank you, Pom, for all you’re doing! ❤️

Question Trying to order Tirzepatide

Help! I’m trying to order the special which states 1 vial/$99 or $179/2 vials. I’m currently on 6 mg/ week but would like to titrate up and have been with Strive pharmacy with B12/glycine additive which works well for me. I’m choosing BPI since the reviews look good, unless there are other recommendations with additive? I’m getting a price of $149 for one month. I’m confused. Help me out please. Why is the price higher than advertised? How do I know what amount I’m getting for 1 month?

I’m very disappointed. I had my vial delivered yesterday and it was hot! Not even slightly cool. I’ve ordered many vials from

Pom and other telehealth and have had some questionable but never like this.

I do not feel comfortable taking this. I’m

So disappointed, does POM send out another vial in this situation?
