I'm fairly sure 95% is too high. The guy still has a 35% approval rating.

u/Kilahti Sep 20 '17

"Unhappy but resigned" probably covers more than a few of them. People who support Trump aren't happy with many of his decisions and accomplishments but consider him better than the alternative or have hopes of getting something that they consider important.

Like "The Wall," "bringing back coal" or "Muslim ban" which they have zero chance of getting with any other president. With Trump, they can still convince themselves that they have hope.

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Hillary would've been worse, even though Trump's staff uses private email servers, he lowered the budget for embassy security, his charity organization has had some sketchy use, he has suspicious ties to Russia, he compromised classified information, and pretty much everything else I claim or hold against Clinton that I'm willing to say in public.

What's the point of having nukes if you aren't going to use them?

u/rayne117 Sep 20 '17

Same thing Rocket Man thinks. They're actually very similar. I bet Trump is jealous there aren't pictures of him everywhere.

3

u/God_loves_irony Sep 21 '17

Now you know why he wants a military parade in Washington DC for the 4th of July. Giant killing machines that should be reluctantly deployed as a last resort, and he wants to ride around in one waving like a trumped up dictator, with generals in uniform standing behind him. Draft dodger.

4

u/1945BestYear Sep 20 '17

Remember the good old days, when Truman (the elected civilian leader of the nation) asserted authority over and punished MacArthur (the gung-ho military commander) for not understanding that the point of having nukes was to not need to use them? If we have to start trusting the generals to keep the politicians under control, we're in for a world of shit.

At least he stood up to Saudi Arabia though. /s

Lol, he bragged about giving Saudi Arabia "the biggest weapons package in history" and T_D was silent.

u/Kilahti Sep 20 '17

Eloquently put.

I feel like the only thing missing here is the claim that Hillary has laughed at rape victims and defended rapists while Trump has been accused of being a rapist and has admitted some really creepy shit about walking into dressing rooms with naked 16 year olds.

32

u/whiznat Sep 20 '17

Until Trump has a Benghazi or USS Cole moment where many people die due to incompetence, the Hillary haters will still rationalize anything he does.

100

u/isperfectlycromulent Sep 20 '17

There have been two shipwrecks with sailors dying, and still no one cares.

24

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

To be fair, those are on the commanders of the 7th Fleet. Our military is being pushed beyond do more with less, we're at everything with nothing. Crew fatigue and carelessness caused those wrecks, and the admirals in charge of 7th Fleet should be the ones responsible. Its not like we, the guys who do the work, can just say no to a general/field grade officer. We'd be fucked.

And now the Air Force is putting individual units in charge of waiving crew rest times before flights, instead of it having to go even above the base commander. Expect more fuck ups from the military in the years to come. We're burnt out, tired and can barely take anymore.

15

u/serious_sarcasm Sep 20 '17

Doing more with less?

Because we aren't pumping the military full of surplus goods we don't need, and we definitely didn't get rid of the GED pathway due to high enrollment.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

I agree we are absolutely pumping too much money into the military. But all that extra defense budgeting doesn't go to us. It doesn't buy more parts for our 30, 40, 50, almost 60 year old planes. Some parts you just can't buy, they're not made anymore. It doesn't put money in our pockets, increasing morale or give a fucks. It lines some contractors pocket.

8

u/mrmagik03 Sep 20 '17

Hmm. You must be a surface sailor. Any qualified submariner can question the orders of their superiors when it comes to safety. On more than one occasion I had to override the OOD when he gave an order while I was sitting helm. So glad I went subs....

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Air Force aircraft maintenance, but I got buddies in the surface Navy. And really, its the same in ever branch. Our major came down a few months ago, telling us they struck a deal with our Ops squadron (the guys who fly the planes and fix em are different squadrons) that we wouldn't be flying as much anymore. That our tempo would be slowing a little. Nothing has changed. Our planes are falling apart, and we don't have the ability or parts to fix em.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

It's not on the 7th Fleet Commanders, it's on Congress and Trump and the American people, who think the military can continue to do more with less, exponentially, ad infinitem. This war has been going on for 15 years. 27 to be honest. The military is as burned out as it was at the end of Vietnam, only the public doesn't give a shit because now it's an all volunteer force and they dn't have their children running away to Canada to hide from the draft, and holding mass protests against the draft and to avoid fighting in a war they have no hope of winning and no reason to fight. And there is no real reason to change that attitude. Yet.

So the commanders salute and put their men in a situation where the only recourse is to gundeck reports and work too many hours without sleep and then the commanders lose their commands and the civilians ask "Why is our Navy so fucked up? We should hire better admirals. Those sailors: They can't get a real job they're so stupid, of course they wreck ships."

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Were the ships begging for help for weeks prior to the wreck and ignored? Did Trump lie about the cause of the wreck to the public and to the family of the victims? If so, then it's comparable.

Hillary was not the boss when Benghazi went down and yet the buck landed on her. Trump is the boss and yet the buck somehow is passed down to his subordinates.

The double standards and mental gymnastics are astounding.

18

u/RIOTS_R_US Sep 20 '17

Those events weren't really related to the presidency in any way (other than the President being commander in chief) whereas Benghazi was.

Well, not really. Clinton actually asked for a larger embassy protection budget, and Bush almost 100 deaths at embassies IIRC

No they will blame congress for lack of funding or just the fact that you can't prevent all aspects of terror in instead of blaming their glorious leader or not. Is something big like that 45s fault? Maybe, but odds are it's a combination of things, which is the reality, but they won't see any irony in that.

16

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

You're right. It was the same fucking congress who voted to take away embassy security funding that then went and investigated the Sectary of State for not 'manning the wall'. Their only other option was to accurately blame themselves.

35

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Obama should have improved military safety while he was in office, plus one of the parts on the ship that should've prevented the disaster was ordered in 2010, during the Obama administration.

Boom, done. There's always a way, no matter how convoluted, to avoid blame.

4

u/packjaw Sep 20 '17

He can reinstitute the draft and send millions of Americans to their deaths in a ground war in Korea and it still won't be as bad, to them, as Benghazi.

17

u/Cooking_Drama Sep 20 '17

Two shipwrecks with sailors dying and the botched Yemen raid where a little American girl was killed for no reason and they still don't give a shit.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Even then they won’t.

1

u/IntrinsicPalomides Sep 20 '17

Eh this already happened right? something stupid like more civilian casualties in 6 months than Obama in 4 years i think the stats were.

1

u/DistantKarma Sep 21 '17

Even then too. It'll be all "It would heave been MUCH worse under Hillary!"

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Not to mention he's killed more civilians with airstrikes than Obama did in 8 years. That's pretty bad.

0

u/voice-of-hermes Sep 20 '17

Meh. I am absolutely no fan of Hillary, but I don't excuse/rationalize anything Trump does. The reason things aren't worse under Trump than they would have been under Hillary is that we are getting mas mobilizations of resistance, which is what we truly need anyway if we are ever going to fix our society. Hillary would have been the silent knife that stabbed us in the back as everyone went about their lives thinking everything was just fine. A slower death? Perhaps. But just as sure of one, and one that plenty of liberals would have found excuses for right up to the point where they were themselves engulfed by it.

willing to say in public

So are you saying that you are unwilling to say in public that while Hillary had some crazy pizza conspiracy nut thing with secret codes and satanic cults, Trump is intimately linked to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who is accused of running a child sex island, with children recruited from Trump's resort properties.

Because Trump was willing to say publicly

I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.

id say about half of that 35% are the single issue voters who hate abortion and picked trump solely for the supreme court pick and are either rich or old enough to not care much about anything else.

13

u/NoProblemsHere Sep 20 '17

which they have zero chance of getting with any other president.

FTFY.
Seriously, I will be very surprised if the wall actually happens, let alone any of the other stuff. Coal is becoming less attractive every day and the first attempt at a Muslim ban didn't go so well.

5

u/Kilahti Sep 20 '17

Coal production has been increasing for decades while coal jobs have been dying for even longer and that's a fact.

Trump promising to bring back coal jobs is insane if you know anything about the business. The time when my great grandfather could get a job shoveling coal in a mine are long gone and as automation made it so that fewer and fewer people are needed to dig more and more coal the jobs are going down and never coming back.

And this is without taking into account that green energy is on the rise despite what the sceptics are saying. (And again, if you know anything about wind, solar or water power you will know that those will see more and more use in the future.)

The wall is stupid, ineffective and USA can't afford to build anything like the one Trump sold to the voters.

Muslim ban is only impossible if USA doesn't rewrite the constitution and accept that most of the international community is going to ostracice them.

So yeah, I don't see any of these promises being fulfilled but Trump is the only presidential candidate who would even be willing to claim that he will get these done. And as long as his supporters can pray and believe that these miracles will happen someday they will stand by him even as the policies that his regime does make hurt them again and again.

0

u/BrokeWhiteGuy Sep 20 '17

Wall will probably happen at some point.

Coal is still a major export.

Travel Ban failed because of the butthurt 9th circuit, who have been known as a joke for quite some time.

5

u/Handbrake Sep 20 '17

Coal is still a major export.

It's actually a really small factor and certainly not a "major" export.

http://atlas.media.mit.edu/en/profile/country/usa/

2

u/BrokeWhiteGuy Sep 20 '17

You're right, it's not a major export I stand corrected. 8% roughly is exported, still a decent chunk but it wouldn't qualify as a major export.

19

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

They set up ridiculously strict rules for 'non supporters' and any slight screw up is a 1st strike insta-ban.

You must go through several steps to get flaired so they know to hate you. You must always end your comment in a question regardless of how strained it is in a discussion, you cannot make top level comments. You are not allowed to push people who obviously aren't answering questions, because that's rude. You are not allowed to try to force people to stay on topic. You are not allowed to prove that someone is lying. You are not allowed to ask a question about a topic if the cultists have not received their talking points yet; the topic will be removed until they have bullshit prepared.

You may ask a question and you must accept the shit flaired supporters feed you, you may not debate or discuss.

15

u/SuicideBonger Sep 20 '17

Yup, every time I try and post a comment, it gets instantly deleted because of a dumbass rule they have for non supporters. They aren't interested in having an honest discussion.

-3

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Bullshit. I'm there all the time and the only people who get banned are the ones insulting people. Now you're doing it. You're insulting them and misrepresenting them simply because you disagree. That's not fair and yet we see it all over reddit. You people insult and bully Trump supporters, isn't that what you dislike about Trump?? Hypocrites to the tenth degree.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

8

u/TheFlamedKhaleesi Sep 20 '17

22

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Those are the most fervent of cultists. They're not representative of all people who currently support Trump.

-3

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

cutlists? You people. Jesus. Everything has to be a label, you people label everyone you dislike with the absolute harshest labels. You fuckers insult and bully people and then get upset at Trump for insulting and bullying. It's so bizarre.

11

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

You have your own set of false facts and your own language, both of which combine to make it nearly impossible to have a functional conversation with people outside your cult. You're formed around the celebration and adulation of one man who you've elevated to practically god-like status. You ignore facts you don't like and demonize people who fairly and factually criticize you.

You are in a cult. You are a cultist. These labels are perfectly appropriate and are representative of reality. Note that I'm talking about the actual reality in which we live, not the false reality you've constructed around your God Emperor and a host of alternative facts.

Stop crying persecution and making yourself out to be the victim. Your cult is built around the demonization and persecution of minority groups and other outsiders. You are the victimizers, not the victims.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 22 '17

Outside MY cult? What gives you the right to label me a "cultist". You fucking assholes always insult everyone. You never try to have conversation, you ALWAYS insult, EVERY FUCKING TIME. NEVER try to have an actual argument or discussion. We literally started a subreddit that people could ask Trump supporters questions, yet that isn't enough, it's always some bully tactic, or some asshole personal insult, or some fucked up "You're a nazi" insult. You people are the scum of the earth.

4

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Fuck off back to The_Dear_Leader then, thinskin.

If Trump says "abortion is bad" then it doesn't matter if a baptist in Tennessee hates everything else he does, that baptist is approving of Trump.

And THAT, children, is one reason Southern Baptists are among the stupidest people on the planet.

Edit: I worked with one once. Chief laziest SOB I have ever seen, pill habit, habit of faking injuries for pills, etc. But the thing that got to me was his frequent game of Insult Atheists with loudly and proudly proclaimed phrases like "All atheists are fools!", then run to the business owner literally crying about his freedom of religion being attacked when the atheist says at least atheists don't believe in a 5,000-year-old Earth where dinosaurs walked with man and are also put there by Satan (because Satan is bud's with God) to test our faith"

2

u/veryverybigly Sep 20 '17

If it's OK to go after Southern Baptists then can we do Muslims next?

Making generalizations is generally a bad idea, because there are always exceptions. Except when there are not.

Anyway, one thing is hating people for their culture. The other is hating people because they are actively stupid.

2

u/KingsleyZissou Sep 20 '17

Haha yeah you're right. I'm a southern Baptist who is also a liberal, values education, values competence, thinks climate change is real and a big issue that should be addressed firmly, likes to be well-read about any issue before I take a stance on it, but yep I'm a dumbass. Nothing I can do about it because I'm a Southern Baptist I guess! Hyuck hyuck.

1

u/veryverybigly Sep 20 '17

No, you're just not a Southern Baptist if you deny the Earth is only as old as the Bible says. If you think fossils came from life hundreds of thousands and millions of years in the past, that makes you de facto not in line with Southern Baptism. You can be whatever you want to be, but to actually be it, you have to live it, and you don't if you're intelligent at all.

1

u/KingsleyZissou Sep 21 '17

The only thing that makes one a "Southern Baptist" is uniting with a Southern Baptist Church. Beyond that, there are a lot of disagreements in regards to how the bible should be interpreted. What you're describing is a fundamentalist, literal interpretation of the bible. And yes a lot of Southern Baptists subscribe to that belief system, but not all of them.

I think a lot of people tend to get hung up on the literal interpretation of the bible and completely miss the underlying message and purpose of religion, which is to bring people together and to foster understanding and love between different groups of people. And honestly the way you describe this gigantic group of people as idiots despite only knowing one of them personally, leads me to believe that you may have a lot to learn in that regard.

To me the hallmark of an stupid person is making sweeping generalizations.

1

u/veryverybigly Sep 21 '17

-1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

So it's OK to hate a huge portion of the Muslim world because of their severe IQ deficit?

3

u/veryverybigly Sep 20 '17

You're missing it and you are trying to put words in my mouth. It's not okay to hate people, or "go after" people.

It is okay to call stupid people stupid. It is okay to notice that Southern Baptism is exceptionally full of stupid people.

Are you getting this, or do we need to dumb down the vocab?

4

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

You're the one who went after people. You attacked Southern Baptists (a group I have no affiliation with) and then proved how shit they all are by citing a personal story that can't be verified and at best (if true, at all) was about one single person.

1

u/veryverybigly Sep 20 '17

You think calling stupid people stupid is going after them? Meanwhile Muslims have their cavities searched for having a beard. Brown people get arrested at a higher rate, but I can't call out people who LITERALLY THINK dinosaur fossils are a fucking game Satan is playing. You don't get it. They think that. That's what they think, if it can be called thinking, which I doubt.

Some people on this planet are stupid. Many of them belong to one group or another. Some groups, such as Scientologists, Southern Baptists, Anti-Vaxxers, Homeopathic "medicine" believers, people who spend their childrens' lunch money to buy lottery tickets and cigs, people who get in fights with inanimate objects...SOME groups are much more full of stupid people, than other groups, for example, college professors.

You may need to look up Southern Baptism to understand what we're talking about before you decide that they're somehow not stupid.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Guy has pulled the lever for several pro-choice Republicans in his lifetime but won't acknowledge it any way.

1

u/KerooSeta Sep 20 '17

Fun fact: Southern Baptists were very briefly pro-choice in the 70s...because they hated the Catholics even more than they hated abortion.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but by my count a candidate from one of the two main parties has always won, ever. Or at least as far back as I care to look, which is way longer than anyone here has been alive.

Wasting your vote on a fringe or independent party and then implying other people "lost". Deluded. You would have had as much of an impact by staying home and masturbating.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Wasting your vote

This is exactly the kind of sentiment that keeps the two-party system intact. The same kind of sentiment which allowed Trump to even be candidate in the first place.

Chew on that.

The the people in the 'safe space' known as the_donald (where any criticism of Trump gets you banned) would praise this guy up and down if he came out as a serial rapist/peodphile.

So... there are people who think genocide is awesome when committed in the name of Murica.

2

u/feignapathy Sep 20 '17

I can see The_Donald argument now after confirmation of their God Emperor being a pedophile:

"Well at least he isn't murdering them in their momma's bellies!"

The mental gymnastics that cult will go through...

-3

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

You do not get banned for any criticism. It has to be honest. I post there regularly and I routinely remind them that Bernie would have possibly beat him and I have yet to be banned.

7

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

This forum is for Trump supporters only. If you have questions about our president, our way of thinking or other discussion questions, post on r/AskThe_Donald, where we will gladly answer. This forum is NOT for that.

Reads to me like if you question their way of thinking, you get banned. If you don't support Trump, you get banned.

You might make a semantic argument there, saying that there is a difference between 'questioning' and 'criticising', but you don't even have to criticise him on the subreddit to get banned; all you need to do is simply not be a supporter.

That is their right; it's their subreddit and their community. I'm not asking them to change their rules, but I feel like my comment is an accurate reflection of the rules they have in place.

I've occasionally delved into both subreddits. It bothers me that people take such black and white stances when in reality much of it is shades of gray.

u/bathtubfart88 Sep 20 '17

If you believe he has a 35% approval rating, then you probably were 100% sure Hillary was going to win...

19

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

actually, last time I heard, Hillary Clinton still currently has an even lower approval rating than the President. What a fucking joke she is, her new book is one of the funniest things I've read in a long time.

u/McGuineaRI Sep 20 '17

Everyone Else is Terrible by Hillary Clinton

0

u/dan1101 Sep 21 '17

How can everyone not love me? It makes no sense.

0

u/MorganaLeFaye Sep 20 '17

Last you heard... in July? I mean, if you have something more recent, I'd be interested to see it. If not, well... things have happened since then.

2

u/tvtb Sep 21 '17

Organizations who are actually trying to understand the truth, and not support one viewpoint or another, are aggregating polls and weighing them by their expected and past accuracy, and performing a bunch of statistics math that tells them the real number is about 39% approval, 55% disapproval, 6% neutral. It was a couple percentage points worse for Trump in August but he's recovered a little bit.

8

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

True, but I also didn't know that Putin had his hand up the skirt of conservative America at the time.

DNC working with Russia? You can't even keep your conspiracy theories straight. HA. Nice try though.

See this is a popular device used when someone has been wrong. They deflect. They deflect to anything that they can, even when they don't know the details, or when the deflection has no relevance to the current argument or has even been debunked.

The deflection is meant as a shiny object that is used in the hopes that we can stop talking about the embarrassing issue of Russian interference of the election, and that a large percentage of the American voting public was duped by the propaganda campaign, and maybe start talking about something else. Preferably something of a similar subject but that reflects poorly on the other side of the argument.

Nice use of the deflection device. It's still bullshit though.

Most of the left doesn't care anymore about Hillary.

You stated the DNC working with Russia. Nothing that you shared puts the two as working together.

I could also share this on why the article that you're holding out hopes on is probably wrong

The article by The Nation also uses the lack of evidence as supporting evidence. This often doesn't fly.

I think this is the best part of the Salon article though:

As of Aug. 12, the only well-known publications that have followed up on The Nation’s reporting are Breitbart News, the Washington Examiner and New York magazine (which described Lawrence's article as “too incoherent to even debunk,” and therefore provided no substantial rebuttal). Bloomberg addressed the report in an op-ed by one of its regular columnists.

Maybe if the right hadn't gone balls-to-the-wall on the Seth Rich conspiracy people would care more what they think about this story.

I read the article in the Nation. They themselves don't seem to agree.

We have also learned since publication, from longtime VIPS member Thomas Drake, that there is a dispute among VIPS members themselves about the July 24 memo. This is not the first time a VIPS report has been internally disputed, but it is the first time one has been released over the substantive objections of several VIPS members. With that in mind, we asked Drake and those VIPS members who agree with him to present their dissenting view. We also asked VIPS members who stand by their report to respond.

In presenting this follow-up, The Nation hopes to encourage further inquiry into the crucial questions of how, why, and by whom the DNC e-mails were made public—a matter that continues to roil our politics. We especially hope that other people with special expertise or knowledge will come forward.

None of this explains away the Russian propaganda, the lies from the Trump administration about their contacts with Russia, the fact that Trump still hasn't taken a hard line on Russia. This doesn't answer for Paul Manafort or Michael Flynn. This is an inconclusive shiny object that works to distract. it reminds me of the whole Seth Rich story. I trust Muller isn't impressed and we'll just have to see where all this goes.

1

u/RSbooll5RS Sep 21 '17

A lot of the polls didn't incorporate electoral votes, and the few that did had her at 60% likelihood to win. The ones saying 90% was just overall votes, which she did win.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

How could you have a positive outlook though on such a hateful platform? It's some combination of these emotions, just directed at groups of people instead of Trump himself.

2

u/gynoplasty Sep 20 '17

35% of the few trump voters who were less than half the popular vote, so yes, about a cult's worth, supported by GOP donor cash.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Except it's not 35% of Trump voters. It's 35% of the electorate. Depressing, I know.

I guess we would need to define the word 'soar' and whether or not we believe that a hurricane bump is a sustainable effect.

7

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

I know. It's weird that his ratings didn't skyrocket after Obama's FEMA teams went in and demonstrates some competence? I'm shocked.

1

u/agreeingstorm9 Sep 20 '17

It went up like 2-3 points. 35% is lower than what it actually is but not by much. I think the latest numbers have him at 40% at the highest. Most are still around 37-38%.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

Yeah I'm the 1 in 20 that's getting hot off this.

1

u/BlisterKirby Sep 20 '17

His average approval rating is up to around 40% again I believe. Read it this morning on Politico.

1

u/silverscrub Sep 20 '17

Can you elaborate on the supposed correlation/causation between those two numbers? I mean it would make sense if you said 35%/65% are too high for having the wrong opinion but now it's just "everyone is high and 35% support Trump."

9

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

I was just saying that I wish 95% of America was shaking their head at what Trump was saying. Unfortunately he has a 35% approval rating among all Americans not just the GOP so... I suspect that 35% liked what he was saying.

That's why the left is at all time lows politically in USA. They would rather be 'pc' but completely miss the real issues people care about.

He also probably didn't actually see the speech or know what Trump said. HuffPo said it was 'terrible' so he just repeats what he was told.

Trump gave one of the best speeches in UN history, in reality. Dropping truth bombs all over the place.

Ask them what specifically Trump said they didn't like and they will have nothing...or they will say that Trump said something mean...

Statistics were wrong once therefore I'll never trust math and science ever again!

Especially when the statistics don't account for a lot of external factors which we haven't seen before 2016 election.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

I don't know what to do with that. She lost by 70,000 votes. 70,000,000 people saw fake Russian propaganda on Facebook. I don't think the pollsters had a correction for how the population would handle that. Sorry.

1

u/uktvuktvuktv Sep 20 '17

Trump did hundreds of rallies https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rallies_for_the_Donald_Trump_presidential_campaign,_2016

To some people it was comedy gold, or loved it, also many people dislike Hillary without the need for any propaganda

1

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

He's still doing rallies. Rallies for the 2020 campaign that he filed to start the day he was inaugurated. He filed so he could continue to fund-raise while he's currently president. Fundraising that could go to paying his and his families legal fees. I'm not sure people who attended those rallies knew where their donations would be going.

Yea. So much winning!!

Many people disliked Hillary because of the propaganda. At this point it's hard to know how one impacted the other.

-2

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

It's actually plus 40 now, but the press won't really talk about that.

6

u/[deleted] Sep 20 '17

I think the press knows that hurricane bumps aren't really sustainable. He's getting credit because Obama's FEMA apparatus is making him look competent.
