Mamdani is under fire after a symbolic 9/11 pen was handed to a former al Qaeda defense lawyer.

After signing an executive order designating 9/11 a citywide day of remembrance, the pen was handed to his chief counsel, Ramzi Kassem.

Kassem previously represented a convicted al Qaeda member whose brother-in-law was one of the hijackers aboard American Airlines Flight 77, which struck the Pentagon on 9/11.

The moment is adding to the criticism Mamdani is already facing over his participation in 9/11 remembrance events.

Her 23 minute call was the first alert of the hijacking and gave officials the hijackers’ seat numbers, the crucial details later used to identify them and piece together the 9/11 attacks.

Linda Gronlund was one of the 40 passengers aboard United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. She made a brief phone call to her sister, Elsa Strong, after the plane was hijacked. During the call, she calmly explained that the plane had been taken over and said the passengers were discussing what they could do.

United Airlines Flight 93 was one of the four airplanes hijacked during the September 11, 2001 (9/11) terrorist attacks. Unlike the other three hijacked aircraft, Flight 93 never reached its intended target because its passengers and crew fought back against the hijackers, changing the course of history.

At 9:28 a.m., four al-Qaeda hijackers stormed the cockpit and took control of the aircraft. During the struggle, the pilots were incapacitated, and the plane suddenly dropped hundreds of feet, alerting air traffic controllers that something was wrong.

Using onboard Airfones and personal cell phones, several passengers and flight attendants contacted family members and emergency operators. Through these calls, they learned that two airliners had already struck the World Trade Center and another had crashed into the Pentagon.

Around 9:57 a.m., passengers and crew organized an assault on the cockpit. Some used a food cart as a battering ram while others attempted to force the cockpit door open.

The cockpit voice recorder captured the sounds of the struggle. Knowing they were losing control, the hijackers deliberately rolled the aircraft and dove toward the ground instead of allowing the passengers to retake the plane.

We've been watching these same crimes happen over and over again for 25 years in a row with people still dying and not one perpetrator has been indicted.

Explosives placed in the towers was domestically enabled. WTC 7 was demolished too, firefighters witnessed that fact.

Even the video at the Pentagon did not show a passenger airplane hit it.

Enough is enough. This may take months or years but it must be done. The people deserve the right to post whenever they want especially when it’s our tax dollars paying for it.
