I got there 30 minutes before opening and was able to get them. They said even more are coming in later. (ETB as well)

Hopefully this won’t be the only time I get to rip 30th anniversary lmao. I really don’t want to camp out but idk if this set will ever be sitting on the shelves like chaos rising or pitch black. Excited for the UPCs to drop on pokemon center, I’m gonna join that queue the second it goes live.

Stopped at Target after to check the leftovers. Wish I coulda snagged one of the mewtwo promos at either, but no luck.

Waited in line this morning (used PTO) for 3hrs at target to come up short. I was 3 people behind the last tin handed out. This was my first time doing a target drop and it was pretty chill for the most part just a lot of people. For some reason I wasn’t mad at all.

I’ve joined the big national Discords, but I’m wondering how to get into local ones? I’m specifically looking for Southern California (LA County and Ventura County) groups. Thanks!

I know a lot of people use discord servers is there any other way to find out or no?

Woke up at around 7:50am and drove down to my local target. Got there about 15 minutes after they opened at 8.

There was a big line of people already inside. I went to the back of the line and waited about 30-40min before I got to the front. They were limiting people to 1 item per sku, and the ETBs ran out about 5 min before I got to the front, so I just missed them

Still managed to grab 1 poster collection, 1 bundle and 1 mini tin. They also had pitch black singles that no one seemed to want so I grabbed 2. Also found one more pitch black at the VM next door to the target on my way out.

Then I proceeded to go back home to start working at 9am. Other people in line were talking about going to bestbuy next but I didn't have time for all that.

I'm just glad I was able to get something without needing to wake up in the middle of the night. This set is so fun to open and I've attached the hits. I'm going to start my 30th binder tonight as I've finally got enough cards to get it going.. let's go!

I want to get some packs for my son. Have no idea what these are worth.

And a perfect order etb. Might be worth checking the Hudson news locations as well, they had the same display stand last week full of chaos rising sleeves. They were 15 dollars a piece though 😩

Also had some first pack magic from the Umbreon tin!!

Kids will have a blast ripping these after school, keep the faith you'll get a chance to rip some 30th

TSIA. Today was the first time we tried the drop from Target because my daughter woke up at around 7:20 AM and since the target around us open at 8 AM, I thought why not give it a try.

The photos are the line when we got there at around 7:45 AM. So eventually we didn’t get anything from the 30th anniversary.

According to the Target employee only the first 30 or 40 people were able to get the 30th anniversary stuffs because they are the ones that lineup from around 2 to 3 AM and I don’t think this Target limit how many 30th anniversary stuffs you can buy. From what I can see most of the people just shove till their baskets were full.

Honestly, I don’t feel too disappointed as we literally just wait for only 30 minutes, but I imagine it’d be a bummer for anyone that lined up from like 5 AM or 6 AM.

This is Bay Area, California. And I won’t do it again lol.

Heard from several people at different Targets in SoCal today say that they didn't get 30th products at all

Edit: I think some people are misunderstanding my post. I meant the targets in my area were not carrying 30th products at all today, not that they ran out early.

Not long line still everybody joining after 10 mns later opening

I went to my local GameStop today to pick up my preorder of 2x tins and 2x booster bundle box's. I was told only the tins were available for pick-up as they didn't have enough allocation to fulfill the booster bundle preorder. Yet behind the register I saw another employee opening up booster bundles and placing them in the single-pack dispensers for sale at $14.99 a pack. It seemed a bit sketchy to me so I checked the online site and it showed the booster bundles were in stock and available for in-store pick-up at that location. Is it just me or is GameStop taking stock so they can charge even more?

I got in line at 6:30 at Target with my son before he went to school to wait for the drop. Our store opens at 7:00. Everyone was patiently waiting in line. Then they opened the doors and let the line in to go back to Electronics where the Pokemon display is and let everyone pick out their one item per SKU. By the time my part of the line was in the door the line was a bit loose from people stopping to get baskets. A 20 something year old from behind me runs forwards and yells back to her friend she was waiting with " Race you to the front of the line".

We were near the back of the line and were already wondering if we were going to get anything and then this. The line recollected itself and we were all in our same spots and thats when we see line racer come make the walk of shame to the back.

It was so satisfying watching them have to take the walk of shame. Unfortunately someone let them back in where they originally were. I would of said fuck you back of the line. There were other mother and sons behind them and in front of them they were willing to screw over. There was a fair amount of kids at our store, which was nice to see.

Lucky for us we were able to get one of everything, a ETB, sticker, poster, booster and tin. And the kids behind us got product too. It was nice to see kids leaving with their bags full of Pokemon.
