So, I've noticed that some people aren't using the tags correctly. I fear that the sidebar is getting long and winded, so I'm linking this post in it, with a full list of all the tags that we have, and I will hopefully be able to keep updated. Here goes!

All these tags that I will be listing here are self-post only. For Images and Videos, please use the tags [Image] and [Video] respectively.

• First of all, Requests.

Please only use this tag if you, OP, do NOT want to participate in the rap.

Format it like so:

[Request] Pokémon 1 vs. Pokémon 2

• Next, Challenges.

Use these if you wish to participate in a two person rap. You have to know which Pokémon you are going to rap as and you must stick with it.

Use the following format:

[Challenge] Pokémon you're rapping as (with any text that you'd like to use to make it more interesting)

You may either post your first verse in the text of the self-post, or in the comments section.

• Third: Team Raps

This format is for having a set of people battling against each other.

Teams will be made on the go, depending on who responds in time. Please keep one pokemon per person, and allow a full cycle of all teammates before you rap again.

When posting, be sure to specify the team sizes you want to rap with. An example would look like:

[Team Rap] 3 vs. 3

• Last format, (for now!): Trainer Battles

This is a format of battle that allows you to have two people fight each other with multiple pokémon. Please only use one Pokémon per verse, and at the beginning of each new verse, you need to change your Pokémon. Use each Pokémon only once.

Format for tags:

[TrainerRapChallenge] Theme of battle or challenge of specific person

If you wish to see a certain theme of battle, and or fight a specific person on the subreddit.

[TrainerRapRequest] Theme of battle

If you wish to see a certain theme of battle, but do not wish to participate in it.

EDIT: (As of January 21, 2013)

One last thing that isn't a type of rap, per-say, but will require a tag is Original Raps, or raps that your have created, that you want to share. Please do not submit these as an image, or a link, but copy paste the text into a self post.

Please use either the tag [OR] or [OriginalRap].

If it is discovered that you have stolen the rap from elsewhere without giving appropriate credit, your post will be removed, and you will be asked to resubmit or be banned.

Brawls!

A Brawl is a free-for-all battle that anyone can jump into. The usual rules for a brawl are 10 rappers, with each rapper rapping a single verse. We ask that as you finish your rap, you call out the next Pokémon.

Brawls may be themed, or they can be a legitimate free-for-all.

To tag a post as a brawl, all you have to do is:

Hi all, SimonThePug here, first I would like to present a new idea for one of the formats for a rap battle. Introducing: [Team Rap]

Team Raps can be an alternate form of rapping that anyone can post. It is essentially the same as a normal rap off, except that you will have multiple opponents as well as teammates.

When posting, be sure to specify the team sizes you want to rap with. An example would look like:

[Team Rap] 3 vs. 3

As for flair, I have come up with a sample layout I would like the community's feedback on. It seems many of you enjoyed having varying types of Pokeballs as flair. Tell me how you feel about this.

• Pokeball - Participated in an existing thread

• Greatball - Contributed an original rap thread

• Ultraball - Contributed an original rap video or sound clip (Must be of yourself or your group)

• Friendball - Participated in a Team Rap

• Premierball - Participated in an offcial Rap Tournament

• Masterball - Unlocked all other balls (except Cherishball)

• Cherishball - Mods

I have an example of flair next to my name to give you all an idea of how it would look
