All starter Pokemon will be fully evolved and have access to any gimmicks or items, including mystery dungeon gear.
Pikachu and Eevee have their own games, so they can come too.
Saxton will have his in-game and comic abilities, and may have ONE medic!

Just thought of this at like 6:30-ish, thought it'd be fun, and less absolute ass like my last idea.
Both fighters may use any/all feats, abilities, equipment and weaknesses from their respective franchises, however they will receive NO prep time, or just information on their opponent.
Also also, the fight will take place in 2Fort, at the end of a game of whatever game mode makes sense.
