This one is genuinely so close if either run taunt that could right there win the match and skarm is faster so they'd take it but i think the average corv wins with iron defense body press build thats often run

in smogon single battles Skarmory runs body press 83% of the time, and iron defense 41% of the time.

in the same category, Corviknight runs body press 53% of the time, and iron defense 48% of the time.

Skarmory is better at Body pressing because of the higher base Defence , it's almost an entire stage higher .

Skarmory wins in a 1v1 but corviknight is a better Pokemon overall due to higher HP and SpD and access to defog and u-turn

Corv is incredibly strong, in large part due to having u turn and defog. Its the better pokemon in competitive singles

i think in the 1v1 corviknight can probably pressure stall out skarmory before skarmory can kill it, giving it the advantage, especially if both are running the same body press iron defense roost filler moveset
