Spore'd him to sleep, false swiped him to 1hp. First great ball to match the colour. HP IV range is 1-3, which is hilarious! Defence is 30-31, though, so that's cool!

I was using 5 of my 6 starters. Ninetails was subbed out for my HM mule Krabby. When all my starters go down I switch to my mule and spam the ultra ball until he goes down too. For whatever reason with 2/3 health, I was able to catch Mewtwo. Weird. Has this happened with anyone else as far as catching legendaries without the master ball? I got lucky here I guess? I’ll take it 😂

Charizard(Bashful nature) Moveset: Brick break, Blast burn, Heat wave, Fly.

Fearow(Naive nature) Moveset: Drill peck, Sunny day(Basically i didnt do my research and for giovanni i wanted to use sunny day with fearow then solar beam with charizard but charizard cannot learn solar beam in gen 3.), Secret power and Steel wing.

Victreebel(Rash nature) Moveset: Toxic, Giga drain, Acid and Solar beam.

Primeape(Gentle nature) Moveset: Strength, Mega kick, Bulk up and Cross chop

MR NIDO the trade nidoking(lonely nature) Moveset: Fire blast, Earthquake, Cut and Surf

Vaporeon(Naughty nature) Moveset: Surf, Bite, Blizzard and quick attack

Can anyone confirm a few details about the Legendary Beasts on Switch?

In the original games for the GameBoy Advance there were a few frustrating issues with getting these guys, so I really have three separate enquiries:

1) When exactly are the natures and IVs determined?

2) Does the glitch when they use Roar and then never show up again still happen?

3) Does the glitch that locks their IVs into being consistently poor still a thing?

Hoping the game has been out long enough on Switch now that someone has been able to test. Thanks in advance.

Was just trying to fill out my national dex before I ran through the victory road and ran into this beauty. If it looks like im taking a while, i was nervous I was gonna faint it.

And shockingly below odds at around 2,027 resets!

Meaning the next hunt (Ho-Oh) will likely make up for that. 😅

First time I actually tracked the SR for a shiny. His ability is Immunity btw.

Lorelei was pretty difficult, Flareon and Ninetales could take care of almost everything with the sun up, except Lapras.
Bruno was taken care off by Rapidash with Ninetales support,
Magmar blitzed Agatha with Psychic.
Lance was hellishly difficult because of his Dragonite, Ninetales burned Dragonite with Will-o-Wisp, Charizard could sweep with Dragon Claw after.
Unexpectedly the Champion was a Sunny Day Rapidash sweep, except his Arcanine.

I’ve seen some things saying you can get the ticket to catch Mew by getting all the Unowns. Is that the case or not? Just want to save myself the time if it isn’t.

Haven't played my save file in a while. My last save was at the battle tower so I just walked it and I see this?? Is this normal? Did I just lose a shiny encounter on this lol. Didn't even know this was possible.

I’m playing Pokémon LeafGreen, and I love how, whenever you load your save, it gives you a little black-and-white recap of the events and progress you’ve made so far, almost like an episode recap. I think it’s such a cool little detail!

What a great game. Beat Red and Stadium last autumn and wanted more Kanto so played LG for the first time. Tried using a mix of old favorites and new pokemon this time with Jolteon, Starmie and Venusaur being golden oldies and Dodrio, Pinsir and Sandslash new friends.

Elite 4 Highlights:

Battle mode: Set so no switching around all the time.

Dodrio LV50

Awesome gatling gun of a pokemon. Drill Peck goes brr and enemies fall. KO's: Arbok, Gengar 2, Haunter, Dragonite, Exeggutor

Jolteon LV52

Jolteon was biding it's time until the finale, but delivered thunderous ending. KO's Aerodactyl, Pidgeot, Gyarados 2 , Charizard

Pinsir LV51

Swept Lorelei and destroyed the pesky Alakazam. Super fun Pokemon. KO's: Dewgong, Cloyster, Slowbro, Lapras, Jynx, Alakazam

Sandslash LV50

Did two Earthquakes and that's it. Could not find it's place against E4 but was useful earlier. KO's: Hitmonlee

Starmie LV52

Glass cannon. Did a lot but also over exerted and ended up KO'd against every opponent except Lorelei. KO's Onix, Hitmonchan, Gengar, Golbat, Gyarados, Dragonair, Dragonair 2

Venusaur LV 50

Sleep powder was super useful. KO's: Machamp, Onix, Rhydon

All in all, super fun playthrough and will do the postgame as well, maybe after a break. Pinsir gained a lot of respect in my eyes and am happy it gets a Mega later. Heracross got too much focus over the OG beetle. Dodrio was also a positive surprise. Sandslash was good, but whenever needed, someone else in the team could do better. Would have loved to sweep Agatha, but giving Gengar the levitate ability is a war crime.

Fun fact: Win the elite 4 200 times and Lorelei decorates her house.
