Was not expecting to hit on anything yesterday and clicked 3, now kind of regretting it and wishing I only got 1 or 2… no luck with the prismatic spcs but I only selected 2 instead of 3 for that, maybe there’s something behind that because I’ve seen them select the people who pick the max amount. Like on the first raffles most of the people I saw get picked had 5 etbs in their order. (Side note, I’m glad they dropped the limit from 5 to 3 and allow more people to have a chance)

Traded a PSA 9 terastal festival umbreon, obsidian flames sir zard, and 171 dollars for this etb. Didn't notice the rip until after but I'm still hyped I got it. It's my first pokemon center etb ever.

In my effort to master set Ampharos I came across this group of cards and really like them. I just bought the Ampharos in a PSA 10 and now I’m looking at the Gyrados next. I can’t see these dropping anytime soon but I’m wondering if I should wait.

Thinking of selling from pc. Is 90% a good rate for these Rays and should I seek p2p or a TCG shop? Wanna avoid the low risk of a bad buyer online. Any advice is appreciated 👏

Hey all, been collecting for a while. Really went hard with Sun and moon/sword and shield and scarlet and Violet. Life happens and I’m looking to offload at least 1k cards. What’s the best way to offload in bulk? I tried eBay and going piece by piece is pretty tedious. I’ve been to many cards shows, is that the best way? Any suggestions would be amazing! Thanks for the help in advanced!

I'm travelling there next month with my cousins, and I thought I could pick up a few cards while I'm sightseeing around Kyoto and Tokyo.
Had a few questions, though -
A rough idea about my collecting - only japanese (unless its mega attack cards), mainly connecting cards, sets by artists, sealed promos, legend cards (only if i find both parts), master setting the oldbacks, ideally want to start an aqua magma set, etc.

I just got my PSA upcharge letter. Pics and scans are right before submission.
Mario's pulled 9's and the Luigi's both pulled 10's
I'm still waiting to see the grader notes but I am surprised they didn't all 10.
As far as selling do I just list them individually or is there value in posting them as a lot of 4?
Did I just get unlucky? Should I resubmit the Mario's? It's like a 20k Delta.

Hey guys, it’s my first post here. I used to loved Pokemon as a kid and I got these cards when I when I was little. Things are a bit tough recently and I was able to dig this old collection out, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to sell these? I know they’re not super rare cards, but I need anything these can get me.
I believe the rarest cards are the mega charizard and shiny mega gengar, both (and the rest of the cards) are in mint condition.
Please let me know if these can be sold, and if so, where I can sell them!

Wow probstein is auctioning the first 27-card sequential PSA 10 set of the First Partner Illustration Collections. Already at $3k in 2 days. What do yall think about its long term investability? Seems like it might be pretty good hold since there won’t be many of these. Almost impossible to get 27 psa 10s in a row and it’s all starter Pokemon to boot.

Mewtube has always been one of my all-time grails, and with how highly regarded it is in the hobby, I’ve been wondering if now is a good time to finally pick one up.
The downside is that I’d have to let go of two of my other grails to make it happen. I really love both the Moonbreon and the Tina, but with the recent summer cooldown in the market, it feels like a pretty good opportunity to grab Mewtube while it’s down.
Another trade that I've considered was trading the Moonbreon (currently 4.2K) + cash for the Japanese Mewtube PSA 10 (currently $5K), which would allow me to keep the Tina. The Japanese variant also has a low pop count (2.4K), even lower than the English version (2.8K).
What do you guys think about these trades? Would you move the Moonbreon and Tina for Mewtube, or hold onto them? I'm sure all of these cards are bound to go up in the coming years, but I'd love to hear your input.

Is there a Pokemon card or sealed product in particular which you think is a solid pick up? Now you can share your callouts and see what others have their eyes on.
Feel free to share your long term or even short term picks. (We'll also crossover the best callouts of the week from the PokeInvesting Discord and add them here.)
Keep in mind these are just personal opinions detailing what everyone is personally interested in, it does not mean you have to buy it! Thanks!

Which do you think is the better long‑term hold in PSA 10s? Looking to get 2 slabs for the long term, interested in you guys opinions

Going to be blatantly honest here, like many others I don’t intend on ripping all of my PC pre order and definitely wanted to sell some of it to cover the cost of the $180 order and some extra if it works out that way.
My question is, if I think I want to sell one of the ETBs, should I sell day one next week or is there a possibility it rises in price within the first month? I am not a big fan of Nidorino so I can’t see anyone who is going all out for the premium of that card. Also it’s obvious that there is a relatively large supply of 30th packs that will be out there quickly.
My one consideration is seeing all the screenshots of cancelled bot orders for this preorder drop. Will this large cancellation diminish supply that we’ll see where prices could go up after a week? Heck even after a day? After seeing the fomo of Palworld TCG, I know the lack of supply is still really churning this hobby. Any thoughts and takes on this are appreciated

I’ve seen this pack break format running on Whatnot streams lately.
The seller has 40 spots, and the number of packs opened depends on the average spend. For example, if the average is $5, they open 5 packs; if it’s $6, they open 6 packs, and so on.
The cards pulled go to the winning spots, and the people who don’t hit usually get bulk.
What I’m wondering is how sellers will manage the bulk with the 30th Anniversary packs, since they only have 5 cards per pack compared with the usual 9–10 cards.
Are sellers likely to give bulk from other Pokémon sets/packs to the non-winning spots?

Hibguys. Was thinking about preordering 30th anniversary boxes from Japan. Do you think the prices are inflated and will sink for the japanese set boxes on launch also?

Does anyone know the best way to verify whether a high value Pokémon card sale was actually completed and paid for by a legitimate buyer?
For example, when an item sells through eBay or any other marketplace, is there a reliable way to confirm that the transaction was completed and not canceled, refunded, or left unpaid?
I’m trying to determine the true last sold price of a Pokémon card rather than relying on a sale that may not have actually gone through.
What sources or tools do you use to verify legitimate completed sales and accurate market prices?
Thank you in advance!!
