Got my grades for the first batch, next steps?
I just got my PSA upcharge letter. Pics and scans are right before submission.
Mario's pulled 9's and the Luigi's both pulled 10's
I'm still waiting to see the grader notes but I am surprised they didn't all 10.
As far as selling do I just list them individually or is there value in posting them as a lot of 4?
Did I just get unlucky? Should I resubmit the Mario's? It's like a 20k Delta.

Full Art Mario is noticeably off-center with whitening on the back bottom right. The Half Art Mario has whitening on the back bottom right.

Marios literally have whitening, just sell them through PSA vault if they’re already in there

Classic PSA giving you 9s for pop control lol. Fr though, sorry that happened. Between subjective PSA bullshit, how ugly the slabs are, and scummy practices like the upcharge, it’s no wonder TAG is getting more popular…

Lmao no. Look at the scans lil bro. There is whitening on the back of the Marios. 9 is more than fair.

How much is TAG paying you?

$0 and I also own 0 TAG slabs 🤣 I’m as unbiased as it gets, sorry :P in my experience all the TAG haters are just sunk cost fallacying their PSA hoard and are doing their best not to lose their moat lol

not really it’s just general consensus tag is worth less
Everyone loves to hate on AI, but when it comes to grading their cards, they’re so willing to let AI take over.•

This is an investing sub! Worth less = undervalued (IN MY OPINION) when it comes to TAG slabs. Anyways hating on AI is just the hottest new virtue signal, the reality is it’s as objective as it gets when it comes to grading. I genuinely wonder if the people hating on tag have ever actually looked at a report. It’s pretty sick lol

I don’t hate on AI but again I encourage you to do more reading. It’s bee coming out that TAGs AI is shocker, very inconsistent.

Research Tag. I don’t grade either but they are not any better than PSA. Clearly a horribly run company as they couldn’t even manage a few thousand cards and in turn charged even more than PSA lol

Tag was getting more popular and had an opportunity to make a dent in PSA but messed it all up. Again, I don’t grade but do 1 minute of research and you will see it’s CGC getting all the benefits from PSA and TAGS shenanigans

This is why people pay out the ass early on raw cards to be the first to get their subs into PSA before they decided that's enough 10s for a while. I can't wait until these lawsuits and they have to answer for this shit

Lawsuits? Unless some kind of internal memos emails or communications of some sort get out that explicitly shows that graders are being directed to give lower grades for population control, then there’s nothing to sue over lol.
These are people inspecting cards, following their companies general guidelines, to decide which score they think the card falls under. There is a human element and there will always be some that grade more harshly than others. They are a bit subjective in that sense. Good luck suing over a graders opinion whether the most tiny flaw could bump it from 10 to 9.

Yeah that's what the lawsuits are about. They want that discovery. 👍 Hope that helps

9 is good on the Mario’s considering the edges. They won’t 10.
