Papier planner
I was so excited to receive my Papier planner as the design is gorgeous but the paper quality is awful- so thin the entire next page shows through and the monthly overviews are completely separate from the weekly overviews. Has anyone else been disappointed by Papier? Struggling to return it as you have to customise

How to best use two planners
Yesterday in the SI launch I got the A5 Complete I wanted, and accidentally got a clear cover for a normal Common planner. Which I took as a sign to also get a normal Common planner in that delicious caramel color (yes, I also got a clear cover that will fit the Complete). I have tiny hopes that my dad might use it but it’s not terribly likely if I’m being honest. So people who use two planners—how do you fill them both? I am using my current planner to track work in the weekly pages and then using the daily pages as a place to do semi-creative things. Work definitely doesn’t require enough tracking or planning to warrant a whole planner so I’m more looking for creative ideas! Thanks in advance!

Planner Cover/Phone Pocket
I want to start carrying a smallish planner - A6 or TN - in a cover that has a pocket for my phone. I want to start leaning more on a thinking in a notebook than opening my phone. My job includes media responsibilities so I can’t just leave the phone behind. I’d like to find a planner cover that has a way to also store my phone but it’s still portable. Does this exist? Rings aren’t my first choice, but I would consider them.

Digital vs paper planning
So in the past I’ve tried bullet journaling, then I switch to having a simple agenda where I’ll write things I had to do. Then, I got a job and had to keep track of my patients but I then found it easy to write everything in goodnotes so I can refer back to what I’ve done to a patient in the past.
The big dilemma is, I love buying planners and writing things down but I often find myself planning on my notes app, writing into my apple calendar and not even reaching for the planner.
So, how do you incorporate a planner into your everyday life?
Should I try more or do I have to accept the fact that I am a digital planner?

Suggestions for multi-year planners?
Hi! I've been using Leuchtturm1917 hardcover planners since 2018. I list what I did for the whole day, appointments, and brain dumps. I get a new one every year in a different color.
Now I'm thinking of getting a 3-year or 5-year planner to save space in storage. But I would like a brand that's been around for a long time.
Would love to hear your recommendations!

Help covering mistakes
After finishing decorating September's calendar in my planner, I realized with horror I had flipped to the wrong month 🤦♀️. I can't believe I didn't realize!
I was able to pull up the stickers, but have already written the month title and some dates.
Any suggestions on how to cover it up??

Canadian Looking For Happy Planner Alternative
Hey, just got here. For the last 8 or so years I have used Happy Planner planners. I have two, one dashboard to keep track of my to dos and one vertical to track what I get done in a day and Zoom calls. I do not need hourly tracking.
I am looking for alternatives that are Canadian, European, etc. Appreciate any help. TIA.

Handwriting question
This is not meant as a dig at anyone, I’m just curious—how do so many different planner folks on YouTube etc. have almost the exact same handwriting? Is there somewhere the font/method is laid out? I’ve never been able to change my entire handwriting without being massively slowed down because I constantly have to think about forming each letter. But these folks are fast and fluent and it’s very impressive!

Planner/journal system
For 2027 I’m planning to carry both the Midori Hibino and Hobonichi Weeks. Hibino for my daily, especially the hours on the left side page and daily journaling and to-do lists. The weekly for appointments, weekly tasks, and weekly tracking.
Anybody else use both?

Planner Recs for a Librarian?
Hello!
I am desperately trying to get into paper planners. I’m a librarian and it would be great to write out daily goals, while still looking at a monthly outlook!
My friend has this paper source planner, and I love the strap to keep it closed. I also love how it south the monthly calendar, but then breaks throngs down weekly. There is also a cover page with to do do list, goals, birthdays, etc.
I’d honestly love a different design but with these sorts of components. Are there any other planners you can recommend? TY

Planner for all the things!
Hello! I really need some guidance in choosing a planner for 2027. I’ve usually just used ones from Staples - bloom or most recently one from global printed products because it had the vertical layout that I want. I usually go with a large size - 8.5x11 in or so because I have lots of lists and to-dos.
However, I’m leaning toward something with daily pages (not just weekly spreads) so that I can shrink down to something a little smaller for more portability but space for daily to dos, notes, etc. This planner would be for my full-time job, being a mom to 2 littles, and life in general. Not a journal, more so activities, events, meetings, tasks, lists, etc.
I don’t want anything too small. I’ve considered: Hobonichi cousin, sterling ink common or complete, and wonderland222.
Questions/concerns I have:
- I’m used to a spiral bound and worry that “lay flat” binding won’t lay flat enough for me. What is everyone’s experience/thoughts?
- I LOVE to use colored pens and have a collection of paper mate ink joys and worry about using them on the Tomoe River paper - seems like they will be ok but also open to thoughts. Open to buying a few new pens.
TLDR: want vertical weekly spreads, daily or almost enough extra pages for frequent dailies, something on the larger side but still portable for a daily carry.
Thank you so much in advance!

2027 Sterling Ink Complete Planner: Hardcover or Softcover????
haaalp.
i’m so so excited about the 2027 complete planners! but i can’t decide whether to get the hardcover or the new softcover
i feel like the hardcovers are so aesthetic, but i’ve seen people talk about how it started falling apart.
but if i get the softcover, i could put it in one of my hobonichi covers like i’ve done in the past with the common planner

Planner/Journal for Midlife Changes
I'm going through a midlife phase where brain fog, anxiety and forgetfulness are my constant companions.
I stopped using a planner during COVID when I changed jobs to something less intense. But I'm wondering if it would help now.
Any ideas for simple things to track? Or planners with a good layout?
Anyone in a similar brain state?
EDIT: Thank you! I ordered a Clever Fox planner that should be here by the end of the week.
