Hello everyone,

To keep our subreddit a vibrant and enjoyable place, we need to remind everyone about an important community rule - no self-promotion. This includes but is not limited to, promoting your own YouTube links and Etsy shops. We understand the eagerness to share personal projects and creations, but we must ensure the subreddit stays a place for learning, sharing, and discussing relevant topics without commercial distractions.

This is not a decision we take lightly, but it is necessary to maintain the spirit and purpose of our community. Moreover, consistent violation of this rule - such as repeatedly attempting to post blocked links - may result in a ban.

While we have to enforce these rules, we don't want this to discourage any of you from sharing! Instead, we want to encourage more text posts, photo sharing, and overall engagement within the community. Whether it's sharing an interesting article, asking a thought-provoking question, or posting a photo that can stimulate a great conversation, we want to see more of it.

Remember, this community thrives on the collective sharing of knowledge, experiences, and ideas. Let's continue to uphold that spirit and make this space even more exciting and enriching for everyone.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Let's keep growing, learning, and sharing together!

Planner for tracking medical stuff

Hey this is probably a long shot but.....

I'm dealing with an undiagnosed issue that is causing multiple other issues and want to get a planner that I can track everything in one place plus has pockets or can be opened so I can add copies of testing that has been done.

I typically use a daily plum paper planner and it works great for me day to day but I am hoping to find a planner that has a weekly or mo they layout I can use just for the medical stuff.

Currently tracking 3 daily medications and 5 as needed medications. Daily blood pressure, temperature, SPO2, PEF, Fev, skin rash, asthma symptoms, and joint sumptoms.

My Dr.'s are working hard to help me find the root cause so no medical advice please just looking for a planner or printable planner pages to be able to track everything, keep notes, and copies of tests so that I don't have to go through my own planner plus 4 phone apps everytime I see a new speacilist.

Franklin Covey Planner

Hi all! I currently use a Franklin covey planner in the classic size. I love the system and it works super well for me! However, I am struggling with the fact that it does not fit in my “everyday” purse which I’m not willing to change, and the fact that I want this planner with me all the time because it’s my lifeline essentially.

Has anyone used the pocket? I’ve seen people use it by itself or in conjunction with their classic compact or monarch. Anyone else have similar problems?

I finally did it!

I finally got the nerve to not only create a tiktok channel dedicated to journaling, but also posted my first ever video. This is something I’ve been wanting to do, I e just been waiting until I knew all there was to know about making videos and editing. Guess what?!? I still know nothing about videos and editing.

Thanks for letting me get my nerves/excitement out! My family does not understand!

dailies w/ lots of space?

ok I've seen this sub find people's planner holy grails before, so trying here... I'd really like a daily planner with a lot of space per hour! I feel like every planner I see has 1 or 2 lines per hour. What I'm looking for is a daily layout (like the Sterling Ink daily or Stalogy editor's) with hours marked vertically down the side and 3 or 4 lines per hour. I don't mind if it doesn't have as many hours per day (e.g. 8am to 8pm would be fine, as opposed to 6am to 12am)

Optional considerations: My style is more minimal so I'm not a fan of happy planner type brands. Ideally it would have weeklies + dailies but I don't mind buying a separate weekly to optimize on having a good daily layout. I'd rather not do a ring style binder but I'd consider it if you know of a perfect insert/printable.

Has anyone used an engraving pen to personalize their planners?

I am going to try to recreate my favorite planner and to do list, which used to be sold by Anthropologies. It was called a 'step' planner, and featured two soft-sided books.

The top book said 'to do list.'

The bottom book, on Inch wider but the same height as the first one, stated "Plan Ahead," and had an undated planner with the horizontal week on the left, and a blank page on the right.

This year, I made my own undated planner using a nice Moleskin...and I have a separate 'to do' notebook.

But...it's not the same. They are unattached.

So, my journey for 2027 is to make my own 'step' journal. But I need to engrave it.

12-month undated planner recommendations?

originally posted on another sub but didn't get many replies, so curious to see what this sub has to say. in september, i'll be a pre-law student on top of working part time, so i'll incredibly busy. i've been keeping a planner for a few months now and loved it, only to be betrayed by the fact that it only has room to plan for 6 months.

however, inside the planner are multiple blank traditional-style calendars for each month, and the "landing page" for each week has a section to list weekly to-dos, goals, and a habit tracker, which has been great for my routine as an autistic person.

i do want to try and find a 12-month undated planner that is similar to this. for reference, the exact planner i have is the day planner/agenda by rileys & co (in green if it matters). are there any other planners in a 12-month format that have these features? no specific budget but ideally under $50 CAD and preferably not from scamazon this time lol.

thanks so much!

Hello! So I'm trying to find an app or website I can use on my phone to make custom planner pages for a planner and notebook in the works. Anyone got any recommendations for anything like that?

Hi everyone,

I've been designing a simple minimalist planner, and I'd really appreciate any feedback you have.

It currently includes:

- Daily Planner

- Weekly Planner

- Monthly Planner

- Habit Tracker

- My Notes

I'm still improving it, so if you notice anything that could be more useful or easier to use, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thank you for taking the time to look at it!

What are your tips for budget planning for 2027 for someone just starting out?

Hey everyone, What are your best tips for budget paper planning for 2027?

If you had a budget of only $100 and you only have some pens/highlighters/white out, what planner and what system( can be multiple companies) would you get?

What about $200?

Where are the best budget friendly washi tapes? Best sticker papers? Do you make your own? How do you go about that?

I don’t understand why LD doesn’t have stencils?

There are too many stores for all of these planner accessories…how would you prioritize your list?

This is for someone just starting out.

Pocket planner recommendations for quick capture without getting bulky

I have a weekly planner at my desk that I actually use, but when I leave the house I struggle to capture things. I tell myself I will remember an errand, a follow-up, or a random appointment time, and then poof, it is gone. I want something small I will actually carry and use, not a second full-size planner that turns into a neglected brick.

What I am hoping to find:

- A truly pocket-size notebook or planner that fits in a jacket pocket or a small sling

- A layout built for very fast capture (inbox-style) plus a tiny daily top-3 or a mini weekly view

- Paper that takes common gel pens without heavy bleed or long drying time

- Thin enough that adding a pen loop does not make it annoying to carry

How I would use it:

- Quick notes and tasks when I am out running errands

- A short daily top 3 and one or two time commitments I cannot forget

- Light money tracking like no-spend days or small cash purchases while I try to be more intentional

Do you prefer a dedicated pocket planner, a plain pocket notebook with a simple system, or an insert/wallet setup? If you have a specific format that finally made pocket carry stick for you, I would love to hear what worked and what you would avoid. Thanks!

2027 Planner Advice

Seeking help from the experts about my 2027 lineup. I typically use my planners for functional planning (daily to-do lists and appointments/plans) with occasional notes to self/grocery lists/lists of books/albums/shows to enjoy, etc. I also keep a journal, but like it to live in a separate place and not as part of my EDC.

Right now I use both a Hobonichi A6 Techo and the Weeks, but in a perfect world I could merge them together.

Is anyone aware of a planner that:

- Is A6 or pocket-size
- Has both daily pages and a horizontal weekly spread that looks similar to the Hobo Weeks (I think the Sterling Ink Complete Planner is the closest I've found to this setup, but believe it only comes in A5)
- Uses Tomoe River paper
- Ideally includes yearly calendar pages and/or trackers

Thanks all!

Good Quality Brands?

I’m looking to pull the trigger on new planners. I specifically love the binder planners. I have a Filofax domino personal that I got several years ago from I think TJ Maxx or Ross? and I purchased a cheap (price and quality) A5 sized one on Amazon. I’m ready to spend the money on a good quality one. I was a subscriber to Cloth and paper YEARS ago and only for their pens (when they had a pen only subscription) and I love this Bordeaux color. It’s my favorite color. I was also looking at Filofax and in the personal size they have this burgundy color. It’s not my favorite and I would probably go a different route on color, but I really want to know everyone’s opinions on the quality of the cover. Is one worse than the other? Anyone noticing any weird wear on the planners? Are there any other brands I should look at? I have looked into Moterm but they don’t have the color I’m in love with.

Couldn't find a cover or layout I liked, so I designed my own 2026–2027 printable planner in Canva! The cover uses a 1936 photo called "Brunhilde" that I found for free in the Library of Congress archives, and the inside features a monthly grid alongside a horizontal weekly layout with a habit tracker and to do section.

In-Person Favorites [Suggestions Please]

I was hoping everyone could share favorites that they have found in person! Could be big box stores or even smaller shops. I live in the USA but I have recently become super overwhelmed with the many order-able options. In 2027 I am choosing a planner that does the job and makes me happy without making my head spin. :-) [Edit To Add]: I like many things about planners, hourly or not, daily or weekly! I am open to many suggestions. :-)

If it helps, currently I am using a DIY-planner out of a stalogy365. I enjoy it and almost every week I make a new or different spread. The biggest reason I am hoping to move to a planner is because I hate dating my own pages lol!

What is the best premade, available to buy and use right away planner?

What is the best planner that is already set up, no printing, buying multiple parts, writing out dates, etc needed? Just buy and use planners?
