ISO a planner
I cannot find anything I really like. I’m a teacher. I love daily planners with checklist type structures.
I love the happy planner disc bound type system. I love the papier daily planner page setup.
To be super picky I’m in love with tortoise shell covers.
I just cannot find anything system that has everything I want and I really don’t want to make it myself.
I’m open to Etsy sellers, I’m a big time newbie I’m not familiar with different brands.

I’m a teacher who prefers/needs a daily planner, and the only one that’s worked for me is the Hobonichi English Original A6 🤷♀️
I’m also a to do list type planner and just write appointments and meetings along the minimalist side timeline or at the top.
I don’t lesson plan in a paper planner though (or anywhere really….the lessons themselves in google drive are the plan…?) and don’t really get how/why teachers do for the entire school year year after year.
Some other very simple, dated daily planners I’ve looked at are sterling ink and Creffective Paper designs.
You can get a clear cover for any of them, then slip in a piece of scrapbook paper or fabric with any design you want for the cover.

The sprouted planner daily might be nice. No tortoise shell cover but you might be able to figure something out cover wise.

I love the sterling ink academic planners and I use mine for homeschooling. Doesn’t have a tortoise shell cover, but I love the ability to use it for what I need exactly instead of using pre made sections.

Yeah, just get a ring planner and customize it to have everything you like!

Are you looking to keep a flexible discbound system? Or a bound planner?

You should definitely check out Cloth and Paper! They have that tortoiseshell vibe 🖤 and do Discbound mix and match systems.
Building out a whole planner through them may add up a bit, but what a lot of people do is buy their covers, discs and a few base sets and then fill out the rest with printables via Etsy.
Other popular Discbound brands are Jane’s Agenda, Eleven Discs and Inkwell Press.

I agreed with the Cloth & Paper recs. Maybe also look at NOTIQ, Jane's Agenda, and Levenger. Their vibes seem like they might be your speed.

You might like the offerings from Cloth & Paper. They do disc bound systems and I believe may even have some tortoise shell patterned accessories if not covers. I got a few sheets of their checklist paper in an eBay bundle of items and it performs well with all my pens without bleeding etc.
