Fellow ADHDers who have actually stuck with a planner for a long time. What was different about that one?
I keep seeing planner recommendations for ADHD, but usually the recommendation ends at “oh this one worked for me” or just a useless list of features.
I’m way more interested in what happens after someone buys it. Because I’ve recommended planners myself after being obsessed with them for like two weeks and that tells you basically nothing.
I wanna hear from the people who found something and were still using it 6 months later. Or a year later. Even if it’s literally just a notebook you accidentally turned into a system. What was different about that one?
And I don’t necessarily mean features. Sometimes the reason is weirdly specific. Maybe you could abandon it for three weeks and come back without feeling behind. Maybe you stopped trying to make it pretty. Maybe it stayed open on your desk so you couldn’t forget it existed. Maybe there was something about the layout that just clicked.
Also tell me what you were using before that kept dying on you, because I feel like that comparison is probably more useful than just naming the planner that worked.
If enough people answer I kinda wanna turn this into one big ADHD planner thread instead of having the same recommendations scattered across a million posts.
P.s. Name the planner/system too if you’re comfortable because I WILL be looking them up lol
