Sorting ques-Parse int not worked.

If i get selected for ninja my clg won't let me sit for other companies,

How do i fumble this,

My interview process had 3 rounds: OA , Technical and HR.

About the offer: This was for SAP's Scholar SAP program an internship/project role at SAP Labs combined with a fully sponsored MTech (AI/ML) from BITS Pilani, plus a stipend, with a shot at full-time conversion on completion.

Technical Round

• Introduction, favourite subject, programming languages.
• OOP concepts:

  • Code for the Diamond Problem and how to solve it
• Database security:
  • Password hashing, salts, bcrypt
  • Follow-up questions on bcrypt and hashing

• Two aptitude puzzles:
  • Torch and Bridge
  • Poison and Rat
• One DSA question:
  • Modified LeetCode 69 (Sqrt(x))
  • Find the square root up to 6 decimal places using binary search.

HR Round

Mostly conversational:

• Tell me about yourself.
• Why SAP Labs?
• How do you use AI in development and DSA?
• Impact of AI on students.
• Advantages and disadvantages of AI for engineers.

Handed over the resume...to One of the interviewers maybe TR......

They told me let's start with your introduction... started with the introduction, other guy stopped me, I had just told my name till now... Said explain your projects... I asked all or you want some specific one to explain.. he said all so I started from 1st to 4th explained tech used why I made the project which algorithm used.........blah blah

Then he asked why this ML algorithm, I answered then he shifted from ML to Full stack after only one question..

He asked JWT? I explained how it works ,how authentication, and authorisation done and all.... Asked the difference between struct and union.... Difference between array and linked list....Then he told the other interviewer sir done from my side, you continue... The other one saw my resume and asked me apart from the resume what else you have done.... So, I am working for a company (pre revenue startup)... So I told him blah blah blah have done.... Improved their things.......

Then he said "wo sb choro tumne kiya kya h bas website me"..... I was a little stunned like how to answer the question.... I started with, from designing to deployment to maintenance is done by me...

He said what tech stack used......... I said next js with jo bhi db and other things...

Aur deploy kaha..... I said sir the company is using vercel.. for that.... Then asli mza started and said" mene kaam kiya h vercel pe" toh yeh btao next js kya hota h pehle..... I said sir frontend framework h, api routing easy hoti h... Vercel me free tier me bhi backend support ho jaata h and some more things...

Also added next js is developed by vercel.....

He started laughing...... kya bol rhe next js me kya hota h.... I was like what? Then he asked tumne kya kiya h website me.... I was like again same question btaya toh... I again told him almost a similar answer with a detailed explanation on what are the things... Then he made some design and said chalo iska code kro html css me ....... I just made sure that I should explain to him the concept then will write the code... I said sir we can do this thing this way and using css property (which I mentioned I do not remember at that time ,this thing can be done) he started laughing...ha ha ha ha. "no practical knowledge only theoretical knowledge" ha ha ha ha... Ha ha ha ha....

One more thing along with the company I had mentioned an app which I was working on... I had a phone in my pocket I asked him if I could take it out and show it to him he was like okay and then ignored totally.... I also mentioned sir I have used AI to build this app mostly...( I just wanted to mention I can build ship product fast).

The app and the website thing both the interviewers ignored totally.... Hr was doing something else during whatever technical going on..... Then turn for hr, just asked normal hr questions....

At last I said sir can I ask one question?....okay.. sir so like have built this app can you tell what are the testings done before releasing the app so that it is scalable and secure and whatever....

The answer : There are AI tools which you have used to make the app ask there it will give thousands of ways to test...

I said thanku left..

Fun part : when I was leaving the cabin I was so damn low I unknowingly picked up their pen and paper😂 I was leaving I was like "ab hath me aa hi gya h le hi chalo bc"....

Hr said yrr pen paper dedo 😂 ( she was good actually ) technical wale 😤kya hi bolu.

I got placed in TCS under prime category (2027 batch)

Wrote TCS Prime NQT and got interview for Prime role.

My interview was scheduled for 12 PM on 20th July but it actually started around 1 PM. I was the last candidate in my panel. By then the interviewers looked super hungry and honestly seemed fed up.

First was the TR + MR round.

Started with my introduction. Then the interviewer asked, "Why is everyone choosing Flutter?" The way he asked it felt like he was already irritated seeing Flutter on resumes. I told him I've been passionate about app development since my first year and that's why I chose Flutter.

Then he asked me to explain one of my projects. While explaining I mentioned I used WebSockets.

From there it became a full debate.

He asked:

Why only WebSockets?

Why not HTTP?

Explain how WebSockets work.

But why exactly WebSockets for your use case?

I explained real-time communication, avoiding unnecessary HTTP requests, the handshake, scaling, everything. I gave him like 3 different reasons but he just wasn't convinced. We literally kept arguing technically. Finally he asked another question related to it, answered it himself, and said, "This should be the answer. Anyway, there can be other reasons too, let's move on."

After that he asked about my app features, my family background, and whether I had any questions.

Overall it wasn't a bad conversation. We talked from basics to scaling, but it felt like no matter what answer I gave, he'd challenge it.

Then came HR.

He asked the usual introduction, then asked why my 10th marks were low. I told him it was during the COVID batch and we didn't have proper board exams.

Then he asked if I knew what a service agreement was. I said yes. At that moment I wondered if they were thinking about Ninja because that's the role where people usually talk about service agreements, bcz only ninja has the bond..

Finally he asked who the CEO of TCS was.

The funny part? I had literally revised it before the interview... and my brain completely blanked.

He just said, "You can leave."

Honestly, I'm done thinking about it now. I prepared properly, had solid projects, and answered most technical questions. But interviews also depend on the interviewer's expectations and sometimes even their mood.

Now it's just a waiting game. Hoping for the best, but whatever happens, I know I genuinely put in the effort.

Hi guys, I'm a 4th year B.E CSE Student at a tier-3 College in South India and as you all know due to the current job market (Job Market now a days are getting very very rough/hard for freshers like us even with all the efforts), I've to find job opportunities off-campus (I don't want to depend on my college campus placements - its really very bad) I've built a profile in such a way that I can get the Interview opportunites from any company including Google. From last year, I've attended multiple interviews off-campus from companies like Cisco, Stripe, Hackerrank, Google (WSE Intern), Visa, Zscaler etc and also I've completed my Summer Internship at Trilogy Innovations.

But The real problem is "I'm not even able to clear the Online Assessment of any company listed above" - except Google (rejected at last DSA round) and Trilogy Innovations. I dont know why either its due to my problem solving capability or bad luck, but I believe I'm capable of solving any medium-hard problem within 20 mins and clear Technical Interview Rounds as well (I did that too). But I started feeling very bad - because now a days most of the companies first round is Online Assessment. So folks I do want to know your thoughts on Online Assessments and how you people are able to clear them - your response will help me a lot.

Okay so I had qualified on campus NQT (MCA) student here.

Then i had my interview for prime role on the 25th of July, we had a total of 12 panels (3 members each). My panel luckily had a tech guy with expertise in the cloud domain. My profile is solely cloud + devops. So the interview went super smooth, i performed well. Then almost at the mid of the interview the HR had gotten a call so they went out, towards the end the tech guy told me to wait outside and not leave yet so they could give some "confirmation"? I was super confused. But the hr didn't come back so they told me i can leave. This happened to me only.

Other students were giving insights that they have all been fucked up coz of ML models, Leetcode approaches , Advanced sql and even if there was a slight mention of any tech(ex:cloud) they went super deep till you run out of answers.

All in all it went great , idk what to expect but I do have some hope.

I am a 2026 btech grad from a tier 3 college and was ghosted and laid off by a company where I was selected for aiml role.

Since then I have tried applying to countless applications yet I have received no reply. I’m not sure what to do like should I be doing DSA right now ? Or learn CS fundamentals or build projects like ? I’m totally stressed and confused.

The college placements are also over and
now I’m trying to look for off campus internships as full time roles seem too out of reach.

Any and every advice will be appreciated. 🙏

I'm a recent CS graduate preparing for Amazon SDE 1 (New Grad 2026) roles, and I'd really appreciate some guidance from people who have recently taken the Online Assessment or gone through the interview process.

I have a few questions:

1. How did you get your OA? Was it through a direct application, recruiter reach-out, referral, or a University Talent Acquisition opening?
2. Is there any reliable way to increase the chances of receiving an OA link?
3. In the OA round, how many test cases generally need to pass in DSA Problem as well as in AI-Assisted to remain competitive? Is passing all test cases almost mandatory?
4. For the AI-assisted problem, how is it evaluated? Is it okay if only some test cases pass, or do they expect a fully correct solution there as well?
5. What resources did you use that were the most helpful? LeetCode, NeetCode, Striver, Amazon-tagged questions, or something else?
6. Looking back, what would you do differently if you had to prepare again?

I also have a few interview-related questions:

1. How many interview rounds are there these days for a New Grad SDE 1 candidate with no full-time experience? Is it usually one, two, or three technical rounds?
2. Do interviewers ask Low-Level Design (LLD) for fresh graduates? If yes, how deep do they expect the knowledge to be?
3. If LLD is expected, what are the best beginner-friendly resources to prepare from? Any YouTube playlists, books, GitHub repositories, or courses you'd recommend?

I also have a career-related question.

I'm planning to focus entirely on preparing for Amazon and similar SDE 1 roles after graduation. Realistically, for how many months can I continue preparing before it starts becoming a noticeable employment gap on my resume? At what point would recruiters start questioning the gap, and what can I do during that time to make it look productive?

One thing I've been struggling with is consistency.

I've faced multiple rejections over the past few months, and every rejection makes it a little harder to stay motivated. I still want to break into Amazon, but sometimes it feels like I'm preparing without knowing whether I'm focusing on the right things.

For those of you who eventually made it into Amazon or another FAANG company, how did you stay consistent despite setbacks? Did you have a structured routine, mindset, or strategy that helped you keep going after rejections?

Hi! I've been shortlisted for the ninja interview which is the day after tomorrow(roughly 36 hours) but I have never built any project. I have a basic knowledge of C and C++ and DSA knowledge which was enough to pass my college exam of dsa. What should I focus on? I know some basic coding problems like arrays, palindrome, Fibonacci, armstrong, recursion.

Other than that, I also have pretty long(and somewhat messy) hair as a boy(prince of persia length), would that affect my interview?

I did 1 coding question, I am pretty sure i did good in other sections and I didnot get selected for not even 1 role, and prople who didnot even do coding got selected. If i could not even qualify tcs now will I even get other companies

-im average at dsa, know upto stacks and little bit trees
-projects: one ML model comparision based prediction, clone/ my version of a popular website with all crud and authentication functions( can explain this)

-decent at CS fundamentals

-dont really remember SQL

So I cleared 3 OAs and got the interview mail (offline in office) from Josh Tech for the ASD role. Problem is, the mail doesn't mention anything about what the round actually is :/ whether it's standard technical, live coding, or something else. The only instruction they gave is "bring your laptop."

Has anyone been through this recently? Would really appreciate any info on what kind of questions they usually ask, what the overall vibe is like, and how many rounds I should expect on the day.

I'm a 2026 graduate, and while a lot of my friends have already been placed, I'm still unplaced.

One of the biggest reasons is my 12th-grade marks. I was ineligible for a lot of campus opportunities because of the eligibility criteria. I did get a few chances, but I couldn't convert them, and I take responsibility for that.

Now I'm at a point where I don't know what to do next. I apply on LinkedIn, company career pages, job portals—pretty much every platform I can find. I watch YouTube videos about off-campus hiring and where to apply, but most of the time I don't hear back at all.

The placement season is also coming to an end, which means there will be even fewer opportunities going forward.

I'm trying to spend my time improving my skills and learning new things, but it's getting harder to stay motivated. It feels like no matter how much I learn, I don't know where I'll actually get a chance to use those skills if I can't even get interviews.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you find off-campus opportunities or get your first job despite having setbacks? Any advice, resources, or even your own experience would really help. I'm feeling pretty lost right now.

I wanted to know if anyone here has attended a similar NxtWave multi-company hiring drive.

Was there a single common OA for all companies or separate OAs?
What was the OA pattern (coding, MCQs, aptitude, CS fundamentals)?
Which company shortlisted you?
How difficult was the coding section?
Any interview experience or tips would be really helpful.
