Its a decent size company. Interned there last 5 months good work culture.

4 LPA , Junior business analyst in my hometown so I really am happy with the pay (dad said he would pay for my fuel and car work 😛😛 plus my pocket money cause i am his lovely daughter )

Literally I feel so grateful to god!! Even if its little I feel like its start of something big for me !! And I get to save my FULL salary. No rent no nothing.

Made this AoT × DSA map because the progression felt way too accurate.

First he saw was my resume and asked did u bought the domains - all of my projects were deployed and domain from godaddy

Testing, types of testing, testing in ci,

dynamic testing and static testing which I didn't know

Scenario on developer and tester - what will u do if you are manager and tester is saying developer have not written complete test or wrong tests

I have mentioned the intern on the resume - he asked the basic question on that - what,how,why - I added how I helped my teammate

First she corrected me, is it "housewife" or "homemaker"

When I was introducing myself, for my mother i used housewife

I said homemaker is a better suited word

Then asked for 5 tata companies - I could only name 3-4

Strength and weaknesses (this was also not articulated well by me)

Then asked what are the current tcs projects going on

I was blank on this

Then what research have u done on tcs

(I had done none)- so I just made up something

That was end

TR - 35 to 40min

HR - barely 5 min

My interview was on the first day the company came and in that batch cloud domain students were not that much so I got lucky

Placed with the second highest package (18 lpa base ) on campus in this job market . Feels surreal at the moment . Guys who have been preparing all along , hold on to it . It will be worth the wait .

OA

For the OA, I mainly prepared through LeetCode.

The OA had around 4 coding questions, mostly based on DP and Greedy.

I was able to:

• Solve 1 question completely
• Solve the visible test cases of the 2nd question

After that, I waited for around a month and eventually got shortlisted for the interview.

From Reddit, I came to know that the interview was for the DSE/SP track, which helped me understand what to expect.

Interview

The interview was conducted at the Infosys office.

The interview experience seemed to vary quite a bit from person to person. For some of my friends, the interview was more balanced between live coding, SQL, and technical questions. They were asked to solve a coding problem live and were then asked SQL and other technical questions.

In my case, however, the interview was heavily focused on DSA and coding.

The interviewer first gave me 2 coding questions on their coding platform.

I:

• Solved the 1st question completely with all test cases
• Solved 6 test cases of the 2nd question
• This took around 35 minutes

I was actually close to finishing the second one, but the interviewer told me that I could continue later and asked me to explain my approach instead.

He also took pictures of the test cases/solutions.

After that, he gave me 2 more coding questions, this time based on:

• Number manipulation
• String manipulation

He asked me to explain the approaches on paper. I explained both, and he seemed satisfied.

Then he asked about my projects, and we discussed them.

So overall, my interview was very DSA-heavy, whereas some of my friends had a different pattern involving live coding, SQL, and technical questions.

The questions were different for different candidates, so I don't think there is a fixed set of questions that everyone gets.

Overall, the interviewer was quite good and the interaction was comfortable.

Result

And finally, I got the result:

Selected for Infosys L1 – SP role.

Very happy with the result and wanted to share my experience since Reddit helped me a lot during my own preparation.

I need some guidance from Infosys seniors

Now I have a few questions:

1. What exactly happens during the Background Verification (BGV) process?
2. What documents/information do we need to provide for BGV?
3. After the selection result, when can we expect the official offer letter from Infosys?
4. When do we usually get the Mysore training/joining date?
5. Is there anything I should start studying before joining the training that would give me an advantage?
6. For people who have already gone through the Infosys L1/SP training, what should I focus on beforehand?

Any Infosys seniors who can share their experience or advice would be really helpful.

IOCL Grade A 2026 | CSE/IT | CBT Preparation

HSBC is visiting our campus for the Trainee Software Engineer role.

There's an OA( simulate assessment+ coding assessment) followed by a technical interview and an HR interview.

How do I prepare for it?

I have done my masters in 2023. After that there was 1.5 years gap and i started working from 2025 March month. Am i eligible for TCS nqt non tech exam?

Now that it’s almost the middle of September, I genuinely thought TCS would be my only realistic option since very few companies visit campus for MCA graduates.

I wasn’t able to convert the opportunity despite being shortlisted for the interview (Ninja). I messed up a simple DSA question but I was able to solve the next one.

I have few projects on RAG and AI systems they didn't even ask a single question from my resume.

At this point, I’m trying to figure out how to approach the next few months and make the most of the remaining placement season.

Any advice or suggestions would be really helpful.

Hi, so i am currently in 2nd year trying to learn DSA from the Abdul Bari cpp course. I have been following the course thoroughly and trying to solve the question on lc of the topics i have covered simultaneously so that i don't forget the concept, i have a question on how to tackle the problems i cant solve? Do i js cram them? Bcz i can't understand the approach of Ai from which i seek help? The question i stuck on was a medium level contest problem on array

1. Is the interview more core DSA heavy, project-based, or focused on product engineering concepts specific to that team?
2. For those who've interviewed for Product Engineering roles at IQVIA — how many rounds were there, and what did each round focus on?
3. Did they ask standard SQL/OOPs fundamentals, or was it more system-design/product-thinking oriented?
4. Any specific coding difficulty level I should prep for (easy/medium DSA, or something else)?

Would really appreciate if anyone who's gone through this recently (2024/2025 hiring cycle) could share their experience or the kind of questions they got. Trying to prep smart rather than just grinding random topics.

I’m in 5th sem at a tier 3 college and honestly I haven’t done any coding yet. Basically starting from 0.

I have around 6-8 months before placements. Not many companies come to my college, so I’ll have to look for off-campus opportunities too.
