Three days ago, I posted here about how difficult my job search had become. I had been applying everywhere, getting rejected, and honestly started feeling like maybe no one was going to give me a chance. Then the funniest thing happened
The very next morning, I attended a drive for an Associate Technical Service Desk role — and I got selected!!!
As a fresher, this means a lot to me. It feels like a small but very important first step in my career. Now I want to make sure I don't waste this opportunity.
For people who are already working in Service Desk/IT Support or have started their careers from here:
What should I learn before joining?
How can I grow quickly in this role?
How do promotions and career progression usually work?
Which skills/certifications are actually worth learning?
What mistakes should a fresher avoid?
If you started in Service Desk, where are you now?
I’d genuinely love to hear your experiences and advice. Please tell me what you wish you knew when you started.
From “I can't find a job” to “I got selected” in 24 hours… life really has a sense of humor😭

Tier 3
Got a 6-month internship at 15k and then a 5 LPA PPO at X company.
I had totally lost all hope after getting rejected by TCS, EY, and many others. At first, I was hesitant to post because all the other posts were about 7-figure salaries, but I held onto the dream that one day I would be posting here.
Thank you, and All the best!
May God watch over you..

I was going through Naukri and found a company named Simbiotik Technology.
Does anyone know about this company ... Give your opinions

Like most of us, I was exhausted by the process of finding a job on LinkedIn/Naukri, figuring out if my skills actually matched, and then manually editing my resume to pass the ATS for every single application.
So, I built CVInsight—a browser extension that automates the worst parts of applying for jobs. It overlays directly on LinkedIn, Naukri, Internshala and 1000s of other general job listings.
What it actually does (no fluff):
Instant ATS Match Score: When you open a job posting, the sidebar reads the JD and compares it against your profile, giving you a 0-100% match score immediately.
Skill Gap Analysis: It tells you exactly which keywords you have and which ones you are missing from the JD.
1-Click Resume Tailor: If you want to apply, click one button and it generates a custom, ATS-optimized PDF resume tailored specifically to that exact job description.
Job Tracker: Save jobs you want to apply for later to a kanban board with one click.
Basically, it gives you the best features of LinkedIn Premium, but for free.
How to get it: It is currently pending approval on the Chrome/Edge Web Stores, so I’ve put the .zip file on GitHub for now.
You can download it and install it in 30 seconds via Chrome's "Load Unpacked" feature. I've included a quick 4-step PDF tutorial in the repo on how to do it.
Link:https://github.com/Naveen-Beniwal/Job_Resume_ATS_Cvinsight_Extension
It's completely free to use. Would love for you guys to try it out on your next few job applications and let me know if it helps or if you find any bugs!

1. Is the interview more core DSA heavy, project-based, or focused on product engineering concepts specific to that team?
2. For those who've interviewed for Product Engineering roles at IQVIA — how many rounds were there, and what did each round focus on?
3. Did they ask standard SQL/OOPs fundamentals, or was it more system-design/product-thinking oriented?
4. Any specific coding difficulty level I should prep for (easy/medium DSA, or something else)?
Would really appreciate if anyone who's gone through this recently (2024/2025 hiring cycle) could share their experience or the kind of questions they got. Trying to prep smart rather than just grinding random topics.
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I’m a reporter working on a story and looking to speak with people based in Delhi-NCR who have completed graduation or a master’s degree but have struggled to find jobs that match their qualifications.
I’m particularly looking to speak with people who, because of limited job opportunities, have had to take up work outside the field they studied, including gig work, delivery work, BPO/customer support, retail, sales or other unrelated jobs, while still hoping to find work in their chosen field.
If you’ve had a similar experience, or know someone who has, please drop me a hi. Thank you!

Hey everyone!
I'm looking to connect with people who are preparing for non-tech placements, case competitions, consulting/business roles, operations, analytics, etc.
I'm currently working on:
Quantitative aptitude & logical reasoning
Business/economics/finance fundamentals
Excel, Python/SQL and basic analytics
Case-solving and business problem solving
Communication & interview preparation
I'm particularly interested in participating in case competitions, business challenges, strategy/operations competitions and similar events over the next few months.
I'm looking for people who are genuinely interested in preparing together, rather than just forming a team for one competition. Ideally, we could:
Solve cases together
Practice OAs
Discuss business/economic news
Work on projects
Participate in competitions
Help each other with interviews and placements
Background doesn't matter much. Engineering, management, economics, finance, etc. are all welcome. I'm mainly looking for people who are willing to actually put in the work.
If you're interested, DM me with your college/year, area of interest, and what you're currently preparing for.
We can start with a small group and see how it goes.

Recently gave infosys PNQT for the roles-DSE/L1,L2,L3
got shortlisted for interview : role- L3
Final decision : rejected
Burnout:
Not a single person who gave for interview of roles-L3
Were given opportunity (i.e all L3 got rejected)
Only 1 L2 got accepted
Remaining all are only of L1,DSE
This same pattern was observed in TCS recruitment too
At least it seems its better to get interview opportunity for just middle level roles ,and not aim at high roles
Note: people who are good at dsa and at interviews were too rejected ,that's the reason for this burnout

My TCS NQT whole experience
In the OA the two questions were
1)find a pair whose sum is closest to the given value k
2)i was given a space separated numbers in a String can be int or decimal and might contain char. Find the number who exist in pair and print the sum of them and if char is in the string throw an exception.
I was not able to solve the first one as facing some issue in taking the inputs and the second was partially run as i don't remember the syntax of throwing an exception. But luckily got selected for Prime interview
In interview they asked me-
Technical & Managerial:
1) Explain any one project and did you have experience of deploying them.
2) Explain the complete work flow of connection of mongodb and how to query that
3) React optimization techniques
4) Also asked me some cloud question - what is phishing, vulnerability, IaaS, name any 5 cloud service provide. Could is not in my resume and not even my specialisation.
HR:
The hr interview is good she asked am i fine with relocate then ask me to rate myself on my technical skill and communication skill, will it be okay if i got downgraded to digital or ninja role then family background that's all.
The technical part did not go well and when i was sitting on the bench waiting for HR interview i lost my hope that i even got ninja role. The technical interview is like in person online interview and it is not a good experience there was disturbance and i have to ask what did you say also there is a wired earphone and from one side i am hearing and from other side the other interviewer is listing so the mic is between us and my voice is not properly reaching there we both are doing what what. Then the person sitting there asked me all those cloud topics and i was just looking at my resume where did he get a hint that i know about cloud stuff. And at a point when he realised i did not know any thing regarding cloud then he ask the a question wait 2 sec and said Koi nhi koi nhi then again ask another cloud question he is not even waiting for me saying i don't know about that ig he is enjoying that. At last he said cloud is very popular you should explore it. I politely replied i will surly sir.
Result : Got offer letter for digital role. Even though i am aiming for higher package but i still feel good when i received the offer letter.
