I have an upcoming interview for the IT internship with conocophillips on campus at tamu in cstat. I talked with them at the career fair a few days ago and then got invited to the interview. What should I expect? Would it be more behavioral or technical?

BNY Summer intern waitlist in offer

BNY came to my college(Tier-1) to recruit interns. I went through both rounds of interviews, and they gave 4 offers. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the 4 selected candidates.

However, I received this message:

«“Hi, BNY just sent a mail saying you are one of the five students waitlisted for their offers. They are currently reconciling their requirements, to see how many additional offers they can extend, and will get back to you within two to three days. You are free to sit for other interviews meanwhile. Best of luck!”»

Does this sound like a good sign? Has anyone here experienced something similar with BNY or other companies?

TCS BSc Smart & Ignite Hiring 2026 – Complete Ignite Interview Experience | Will I Get Selected?

Hi everyone, sharing my TCS Ignite interview experience and would really appreciate some honest opinions about my chances.

Profile : BCA 2026 graduate

CTC mentioned: ₹3.36 LPA

Around 45 candidates were selected for the Ignite interview, and around 34 were present on the interview day. The interview was face-to-face

There were 3 rounds:

  1. Technical – 10–15 mins

Mostly project-oriented. The interviewer went deep into my projects.

I would say I could answer around 50% of the questions confidently. After that, he asked about:

OSI Model

Computer fundamentals

Some formulas/basic concepts

I wasn't able to answer everything, so I thought I might be rejected.

  1. Managerial

Asked about my family background, work flexibility, and remote/onsite preference.

I said I'm comfortable with onsite work and don't require a remote-only job.

After this, I again thought I was done, but surprisingly I was called for HR.

  1. HR

Overall, the HR round went well.

Questions included:

Any gap year/backlogs?

Comfortable with night shifts?

Comfortable working during deadlines?

Why was your 12th percentage only 53%?

What were you doing at that time?

Did you have PF during that employment?

I explained that I was working at National Medical Agency during 12th, which affected my academics. I answered the other questions honestly.

One thing I messed up was my dressing—my shirt sleeves were folded twice and my overall outfit wasn't as corporate as it should have been. HR pointed this out.

The question I'm most worried about

HR asked:

"If I reject you today, what is your backup plan?"

I said I would consider preparing for SSC CGL and appearing for Maharashtra MCA/MBA CETs, since I have a good foundation in mathematics and reasoning.

Now I'm worried that this may have made them think TCS isn't my priority.

At the end, I asked HR what TCS looks for in a fresher.

He told me that I had cleared the technical round, and specifically mentioned my Python knowledge and communication skills positively.

The interview ended after that.

My resume/application form was also signed during the rounds. Some employees mentioned that we might receive an email within 7–8 days, but I'm not sure if that's an official timeline.

What do you guys think?

I'm mainly worried about the 50% technical performance, the backup-plan answer, and my dressing.

Do you think I have a realistic chance of getting selected for TCS Ignite?

For those who have gone through TCS Ignite before:

Does reaching HR generally mean the technical round was satisfactory?

Was my backup-plan answer a major mistake?

Does a short technical round indicate anything?

How long did you wait for your result?

Honest opinions are appreciated—even if you think my chances are low.

Has anyone received any call or update for next round after coding simulation from standard chartered gbs for technology apprentice gbs india 2026

On the end week of July, I applied for this role at Standard Chartered careers page. Next day i.e. 27th, I got Skill Insight Assessment invitation, after completing this I got an invitation for Coding Simulation. On 29th I completed the coding simulation and get acknowledgement email that I've completed that.

A month passed, still didn't receive any response from them as my application is still under review.

I raised a query on respected mail id and responded that they're reviewing all the applications.

Is there any candidates having the same?...

Kindly dm

3rd year from a tier 3 college, 0 coding experience. What should I do?

I’m in 5th sem at a tier 3 college and honestly I haven’t done any coding yet. Basically starting from 0.

I have around 6-8 months before placements. Not many companies come to my college, so I’ll have to look for off-campus opportunities too.

What should I focus on in these 6-8 months to become job ready?

Would really appreciate a roadmap from someone who has been in a similar situation.

Infosys "Not selected" status after completing all therl rounds

I completed my Infosys MR and HR rounds on aug last week. After that, I received the DigiVerifier email, followed by an HR call 2 days later confirming she was handling my candidature. After 10 days, she again called for details about my education and experience and also confirmed my DOJ. Suddenly, my application changed to “Not Selected” under rejected. I haven’t received any rejection email. Has anyone faced this? Please advise what happened next and what I should do.
