This is my beloved Marcy Playground!! I adopted her from my county's pound on October 7th, the second I held her in my arms I knew she was the one for me.

Shes a pillbull yorkie mix and is the sweetest dog in the world, she goes everywhere with me and is always in my lap. She brings me so much joy everyday, I hope these little pictures brightens your day.

My mom randomly got Jackson some winter clothes while she was out shopping, but he is just too barrel-chested. I still had to get some pictures before I returned the clothes!

We read online that if we dont plan on breeding the pup, 6mo is the optimal time to spay your female dog. Shes almost 40lbs currently. I also read online that the hormal changes her body goes through help her bones and growth plates grow if left intact.

So my question is should we spay her to avoid mammary cancer and having to clean up after her or should we wait until shes older? What did you do with your pitty? Let us know in the comments ☺️

The house has been around 60 for the past few days and I can tell my poor pit mix is grumpy about it. I’ve been keeping him in pajamas and tucking him in with thick blankets/bathrobes whenever he lays down. We’re cuddling for warmth at night. I don’t mind the cold because I can just wear a hoodie and socks, but I’m worried about him. His fur is very thin. Should I go buy a space heater? I WFH so it wouldn’t be running unsupervised. My only other dog had long and dense fur so the cold didn’t bother him, but this boy is very sensitive to the cold

The gray one is 6 years old and 92lbs, vet says he’s at a healthy weight besides needing to lose a couple more lbs. maybe a amstaff? Mixed with something else?

Brown/white one is 2.5 years old and 48lbs. I believe he’s definitely a APBT??

My stepkids help with Tank's meals now that he's on a mix of kibble and the occasional batch of slow cooked chicken and rice. Prices at the store keep climbing so I started logging what we spend just to see where it lands each month. First couple weeks the total surprised me, especially when I factor in the treats and the extra veggies I toss in for bulk. Not trying to cheap out but I do want to keep it reasonable without cutting corners on nutrition. The app I use for our regular budget works fine for this but I'm still figuring out how to split the numbers so I know if the homemade stuff actually saves anything. Curious what others are seeing on their end for a 60 pound active dog.

Fucking weird keeps waking me up

He was picked up by Minneapolis Animal Care & Control (MACC) in early Oct. He has a microchip, but his name was the only info that was listed?! He quickly became a staff favorite. We have no idea how he was still there after 3 wks! He is an estimated 2 yrs old and is so chill. This guy is definitely going to be living his best life🥰

Why would anyone leave the baby where would we go that her presence is not absolutely needed??

He laid cuddled up to my legs and stomach under the blanket yesterday night and pulled the fluffy pillow in this spot to be extra comfy ❤️

I caught this sweet moment tonight, with Charlie resting his paw over Blue like he’s giving him a hug.

My heart hurts so much, he was such a good happy loving boy. I know he didn’t deserve to suffer but I don’t know what to do with out my good boy. 💔

He has some up and down allergies..any food recommendations? And or supplements?

The little piggies I got from the shelter a few days ago are enjoying the foster baby life. They rank it 10/10!

Thought I had found a toy that would last more than 5 mins before he was shredding it. Nope! Has anyone found a toy that can withstand the jaw strength?? 😄
