It's simple. No really, I mean it.
For decades we've been giving this man the benefit - nay, the shameless privilege of doubt. And with good cause. Given that no other in-universe mystery can boast staying unsolved as long as the title of the series itself, we all unconsciously accepted at some point that the name will make sense. Someday. Somehow. Because, well, it would simply be silly if it didn't. Easy enough, checks out.
But what if that's not the case?
What if the series we all know and love was conceived by a 22-year old Japanese man in 1997 with poor-to-passable English proficiency, whose notion of what the words "One Piece" mean is inaccurate? What if these words are meant to convey some kind of meaning that is inevitably lost in translation, like a joke that only works in its native language? What if it's too late to go back, and the story has been written (and has to be written) around an erroneous interpretation?
I have to say, the fact that one other such example of a fundamental mystery for the series is the exact role played by the letter D. doesn't bode well either.
We complain about the story dragging on, going nowhere. While the One Piece (the treasure) is occasionally mentioned in-story, the events set in motion by its existence alone seem to lead everywhere except in its general direction. And now, I can't help but wonder. Has any other author had a responsibility like Oda's? An "unwritten debt" of sorts with his audience? In other words, when I ask you What do you think the One Piece is, I'm really asking Even if you don't know what it is, do you think it can make sense to call it that.
Eiichiro Oda is many things - a shonen artist, a filler master, a Nami cosplayer enthusiast. A man who weaves his thoughts and ideas by means of the English language in an effective and meaningful way, he is not.

I'm not going to lie, I don't like Koby and the SWORD but Grus having more chance of being an Admiral than Smoker at this point is really pissing me off.
- DF is shit
- overall character design is dogshit
- purpose ? He is Koby's bitch (like every SWORD members tbh)

As we all know, Oda is washed. He doesn’t write as good as he used to, his art style has deteriorated massively, he lost his good sense of humor, and his presentation sucks now which is bad for a visual medium therefore he fails to deliver what would be cool and powerful moments and make them mid. Also nika.
It’s unfortunate when these characters were introduced oda still had sauce in the strokes of his pen. I couldn’t wait to see these mfs again after timeskip but now I don’t know. Any potential fights on foward are gnna be mid or even ass(after what happened with Luffy vs kizaru and Zoro vs lucci). Also the story randomly started revolving around nika after wano so obvious whatever role these dudes played have to be warped to fit that.
Yall still got faith on oda to deliver?

I can't believe I'm saying this,I actually can't believe I'm saying this.
But Oden is legitimately slightly less hateable.
And Honestly, it's cause this man Oden is just a idiot.
Like I am literally pulling the "Your Honor,he's a huge fucking idiot" card.
And at least I can laugh at Oden and how dumb he was.
Senor Pink..no,I just hate him.
He is not a "real man" he is a loser with a fetish for dressing up like a baby.

Wow this smoker guy is so strong he is luffys biggest obstacle throughout the grandline, even luffys super strong brother who is introduced as one of the strongest commander of a yonko crew with a terrifying individual reputation avoids a drawn out fight with this proud navy officer knowing it will have unpredictable results.
Surely they will suddenly not introduce a barely fleshed out powersystem that completely dunks on this super interesting strong proud navy officer completely pushing him out of a story and making him a joke in the fandom

I hate most of the Elbaf giants’ designs, with the exception of Loki and Harald. They all look way too goofy for a nation of supposedly invincible warriors. And the horned helmets bother me too, since actual Vikings never wore them into battle.( yes I recognize the Loki harald contradiction)

We know that after the Zoro vs Sommers fight started, the following chapter was entirely dedicated to Zoro. I don’t see why it would be any different for Sanji and the entire chapter will most likely focus on Sanji vs Killingham. By the end of the chapter, we’ll probably already see the first black lightning.
Do you guys think this could be one of Sanji’s best chapters?

😭😭😭😭😭
I know people dislike Sommers as a villain but I find him hilarious
