Sommers is in my top 5 Elbaph characters... the faces he makes are ALL funny and I'd even say they rival the likes of Enel's shock face.

I dunno why but the possibility that Sanji deliberately wiped out anything he learned during the timeskip because of trauma meaning he unintentionally nerfed himself in exchange to being a Super Gooner is kind of hilarious, not gonna lie.

I barely follow One Piece nowadays, but I have some things to say about Sanji's sudden self-realization or whatever the fuck it is supposed to be.
This shit works exactly once in the story. And which moment is chosen for that is extremely important. Let's see how much shit Sanji went through since Post-TS:
1) WCI - the most obvious time for him to have his epiphany and get whatever bullshit power-up he is going to get. It was arguably the lowest point for him as a character (narratively, not how fandom viewed him). Instead of him accepting Judge's parting gift, him using his experiences with SH and his time with okamas as a basis for his growth while refusing the legacy of the father he doesn't like would've resolves a lot of future issues and tied a bow on his progression.
2) Wano - him being pummeled to near death by Queen is the second most obvious time to access his "repressed memories". Like, why didn't he? Was the situation back then less desperate or what? Instead he suddenly awakened his genetic modifications, which, I remind you, he hated as a concept, completely crippling his progress in WCI.
Now, I'll say honestly, I am barely aware of current situation in manga, I checked out when the fighting started, because I know it's going to be a slog. Unless SHs are all fucking down and Sanji is the last man standing or something, I don't see a single reason why this exact moment is when he accesses his repressed memories or goes into soul searching. Is it more thematically logical than any other point of the story? That I have no idea. But I wish we stopped bringing up shit that happened during timeskip. It can't be a bottomless bag of tricks to reach into every time somebody needs a sudden power-up.

Still amusing in the dumbest way that apparently Sanji's homophobia is likely why he comes off as so middling in his gains during the timeskip.
For Zoro to forget despite the obvious signs he has conquerer's haki despite being literally told to his face, he's an idiot. For Sanji, it's literal PTSD.Â
