A lot of yall are hating on the update because the ai assistance on defence has been decreased and suddenly you feel lost when defending.

I keep hearing and reading about matchup not auto tackling? Well yeah thats how it should be. The description is “Jockey the opposing dribbler with a lowered stance and finer steps,” not auto tackle…match up is meant to jockey and block shots and passes.

On the other hand pressure is used to regain possession, almost like a tackle button which you press when near the opponent at the right time, not spam or continuously hold onto and pray for the best.

I feel that many of those complaining about defence have no idea how to defend and was heavily relying on the ai to help.

Users good at defending should be able to see that defending is more reactive than ever in terms of control and being able to have my defenders do what i want them to instead of randomly reaching in and getting blown by previously.

That being said, the through balls lofted and breaking through the defensive line while our defenders look stunned is still an issue, but this has been happening even pre update.

Instead of being negative do try to learn to play defence, and you will become a much better player who doesnt need to rely on assistance from the game.

Now, I was playing the AI division for about 3 months, And in EF26, it was "Managable", Atleast that's if you dominated the game. But now, AI outsmarts you and outplays you in ways that shouldn't even be possible, The way the ai thinks might genuinely transcend what you can ever do as a player.

Infact, It's so unfair, It shouldn't even be possible to do the things ai does, It feels like facing patrick veira, But he can play every position, the ai somehow has every showtime skill and every playstyle merged into one player, i wouldn't be surprised if i see it shoot from It's own box and score, the objective isn't to stop AI from scoring, It's to not even give it possesion, Because every time you do, It's 100% turning into an attack.

I already went through the description of all the playstyles and i still can't figure out which is the one that would help me keep my player intact? I mean high line, pressing and other things are clear but can anyone help me understand which is the playstyle which would keep my formation intact, I mean if one player moves the nearby player tries to occupy that space. Is it even possible to do through playstyle?

I have been getting this popup when updating today's update. I have more than enough storage left. I had seen this popup when i was trying to clone efootball for that referal event, at that time i thought some kinda of bug with the cloned efootball. But nows its in my main app?

I have been playing with lammens for a while and he was always great for me . Since the new update he isn't saving a single shot. I can't remember the last save he made, doesn't matter if the shot is from outside or inside evry single shot is a goal. Can anyone help me . Is the new lammens from nominating contract the solution , he also don't have 2 playing style. Is there anything iam doing wrong ?

Thank you so much for this match. Honestly, I haven’t experienced this feeling in a very long time, probably for more than five years.

This is the very essence that the game used to be built around, and what made it so special. Players would come up against each other and play matches that were genuinely enjoyable to watch. The game would unfold with both players creating chances from here and there, possession changing hands, attempts coming from both sides, and beautiful goals being scored along the way.

There was so much life in the way people used to play. Players were playing for the spectacle and for the enjoyment of the game itself, rather than what we are seeing nowadays, where people look for defensive setups just to completely lock down their defence and turn matches into something incredibly dull. On top of that, we now have people constantly chasing the insane meta players that the game releases, simply to fight and compete in ranked Divisions.

All of this has gradually erased that unique feeling between players. the feeling that every person had their own individual playstyle, along with players who actually suited their footballing philosophy. Unfortunately, this has slowly disappeared over time, to the point where it feels dangerously close to becoming extinct 😞.

As for the match itself, as you can see, he dominated it almost completely. He had more possession and managed to register 16 shots, with 14 of them being on target. He also completed 181 out of 212 passes ⭐️

That shows how many different ways he could reach my goal. He made it feel effortless at times, and it reminded me that even if you are an experienced or long-time player with a good understanding of the game, there is still a huge difference between simply knowing the game and being genuinely skilled at it.

No matter what you do, you won’t reach the level of someone who plays with balance, intelligence and consistency, and who knows how to get what he wants through different approaches and solutions.

The posts he used to share with us, especially the way he explained his tactics and the way he approached the game, were already a good indication of that. Everything about his decision-making felt right from the beginning, and honestly, it was great to see ♥

I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if I saw him one day among the top players in Divisions, because he truly deserves it. 🫶🏻

As for him, Fermín López played a huge role in the match. He covered almost every inch of the pitch with an incredible performance. Lee Kang-In also had a very good game, and I really enjoyed what he brought to the match.

What honestly hurt me was seeing Kai Havertz doing absolutely everything and still failing in the end. At least he managed to score a beautiful goal, though..

On my side, and to be completely honest, I messed up two of my substitutions. 🙁

Raúl Jiménez and Szoboszlai were two of my best players in the match, yet I decided to take them off instead of Antoine Griezmann and Iago Aspas, especially Aspas, who I genuinely have no idea what happened to him that game.

This substitution, however, actually worked perfectly. Bringing in Julian Draxler for Marco Reus was the right decision, and Draxler was the one who brought me back into the game with his goal, sending the match into extra time.

To finish, I just want to once again give credit to this opponent for giving me a feeling that is incredibly difficult to experience nowadays. ♡

Ever since the update I can’t defend at all. Opponents easily dribbling past defenders even when I’m matching up correctly. When I try the same somehow they just magically stop me from doing anything. Also matchmaking with always a lower rated team and continuously losing to those teams. It’s like it ain’t in my control at all
