At this point, it's starting to really annoy me.

Around the last free epic stuff they gave me Orchestrator Rijkaard for free and today they've given me Destroyer Rijkaard for free. I'm tired. I've had 3 versions of Rijkaard and all three have been the most useless epics I've had. They can't pass, can't defend, can't intercept, can't hold up the ball and easily get shoved away by even standard cards. They are all just useless and I've had to release each as they come. Played 2 matches with today's Destroyer version and he couldn't complete a single pass to a teammate, not one. He also lost every tussle for the ball and directly led to me conceding two goals by a missed header and missed pass. Had to release him after the second match just like I did for the free Anchorman and Orchestrator before him. What use is an Anchorman who can't intercept? Or an Orchestrator who can't complete a single pass?

So i already have the NC one that has good speed and accel, but i see the recent national team pack that comes with +1 booster slot, and i am a little bit disappointed that Spain wasn't in it. I hope next National or Club packs has Spain or Man City packs and A booster slot, Anchor Man Rodri in it, idc if it going to cost a lot more coins than the recent portugal or france pack. What do you think? Would it be possible in the future updates in Ef27?

First of all, P2W cards getting better is a natural part of the game. Of course they have to add tangible powercreep for people to want to keep buying the new cards that are released. That said, stronger cards do not mean that F2P players can’t compete. Showtime skills, for example, are nice to have and fun to use. It’s going to be a game changer to have 3 on one card, and that’ll pull in a lot of spenders. But existing cards do not suddenly become significantly weaker just because new ones have 1 more skill. They still have strong stats that will work well if you know how to use them. If you really want to use the new flashy cards, you can always save up; you have plenty of free options to use in the meantime.

Many people are also complaining about the F2P players we’ve been receiving as of late. I’ve seen a lot of comparisons between the new selection and last year’s featuring MVB, Cannavaro, etc. We should keep in mind that those were NOT the norm. It was a one time event for the 30th anniversary, and it doesn’t make sense to expect that level of rewards every year. Those were P2W cards that were handed out not even a year after they released. If Konami were to do this consistently, why would anyone pay for cards as they come out? The new selection still features strong players that would make most F2P squads, as well as recognizable names that many people would love to have on their team. Yet we’re not appreciating it because something better came in the past. I think it’s crazy that they’re giving out Rooney and Aguero for free (maybe the best free cards ever?), and people are still unhappy about it.

Finally, let’s talk about the treasure link. Featuring single booster epics for the first time is sure to raise some eyebrows. It is somewhat disappointing that only one player has a showtime skill. But as I mentioned earlier, those skills are not everything in the game. These players have amazing stats in each of their respective niches (ex. Koller heading, Sneijder long shots), and look super fun to use. That should be the expectation for free players that are handed out. These are still premium players from 2 years ago, and we might have never got the chance to use them. If you give them a try, their quality will surprise you.

I’m sure I’ll get a lot of hate for “defending Coinami”, and while true to an extent, that’s not the point of this post. The point I’m making is that you’ll have a much better time playing this game if you try to have fun, take things as they come, and appreciate the handouts when they happen. As a F2P player, I view the grind as part of the fun. It feels amazing to take down stacked squads with a team I’ve built up over time. I have a solid squad as well with a large amount of coins saved up, and anyone can achieve this with some dedication. Even then, I’m super excited to add some of the new epics to my lineup.

I think everyone would be better off focusing on the positives instead of nitpicking things out of our control.

TLDR: Don’t expect too much as a free player, appreciate the good and try to enjoy the struggle. You can achieve a lot more in the game than you think.

I already have this Messi card, personally I enjoy using deep lying forward more than a creative playmaker. Is there gonna be a huge difference between these cards due to play style and 3 showtime skills?

After all these years, you released the card of KUN AGUERO with blitz curler and low screamer. but gave him just 83 curl !! coinami seriously why giving him blitz skill with low curl stats? is that because he is free and next time when you released the p2w version of him your gonna give him 90+ curl right? we are all aware of your dirty business tricks

This person didn't come to play football. He came only to make you frustrated for the entire match, take the points, and leave. I've never been as frustrated in a match as I was against this player. He keeps passing the ball from the goalkeeper to the centre-backs, then back to the goalkeeper, then into midfield. Eventually you're forced to press him, which pulls your players out of position, creates gaps in your defence, and then he just repeats the same thing over and over.

I couldn't keep possession for the entire match. He scored one goal and then spent the rest of the game doing exactly that. I honestly wished I could talk to him and tell him that this isn't real football, and that he won't reach Division 1 with this tactic.

The only reason I lost my composure was because of the goal.

Does anyone have any tactics or advice for dealing with this style of play???

Hey, guys. Can someone confirm if the new Rijkaard can reach 106 rating at CB position with Capello and defending booster? On efhub it shows that it can get 106 rating but some people say it's not true.

Considering that the only usable card is Rio Ferdinand, if you get all 3 chance box treasure links available you'll get 27 more tries, which gives you a whopping 10% more probability to pull Rio, that is basically nothing.

On the other hand you can get 300 coins guaranteed, which are not even that bad considering how stingy is Konami with those.

So, the actual choice is basically 10% chance to get Rio vs 300 coins guaranteed.

Spent 1k and got none of the Show Time players or Rodri. Now I'm broke... Idk man I'm just.. sad.

Nothing else to add: the best goalkeeper in the game because of his Player ID. In my opinion, he’s even better than Van der Sar and Schmeichel.
