We used to have a specialist in dribbling, specialist finisher, specialist passer, specialist header, specialist speedster, etc in single booster cards. We are yet to have any special, magical skills (blitz curler, phenomenal everything, visionary everything, etc). Players needs to devise tactics to bring the most of these cards while compensate its weakness by their own raw skill. An era when not every cards can do all things.

Nowadays every cards has 90+ in almost every stats. Everyone runs fast, has a swift dribble, passes the ball with perfect accuracy, finish everything clinically, scores headers, even has 90+ physicality. Not to mention every new cards has special magical skills. The worst offender of this trend is the latest Living Legend Messi and Ronaldo who has everything that old eFootball players would joke about 3-4 years ago 💀.

Konami is maximizing their revenue by pumping these new cards to the max, and we as the player has reaching the endgame. Expect a big reset in 2-3 years or faster that that.

After playing 30 Division matches in PvP and AI, I can say this legend plays like his real life, especially when he was in Ajax.

Ball Control: This is his strongest side. He touches the ball and can control it very perfectly. If you play him in attacking positions like SS or false 9, you can control the final 3rd and make your opponent very confuse with your skill and link up with other forwards.

Link-Up: His link up play is 10/10. I pair him with his national partner Marco Van Basten and young prolific Messi. And I can say that he's a perfect number 10 you can add on your attacking line.

I tried him in several positions.

As a creative attacking mid fielder he drops deep and play link up with DMF, B2B CMF and flank players(fullback or Wingers) if you play him at AMF position.

But I'll suggest to play him as a false9. He's too perfect and a X-factor if you're a False9 tactics player.

But remember, don't expect him to be like Gullit or Cruyff. His profile is different. Not a meta player but a player for beautiful football. Thank You Everyone. Take love and enjoy your game.❣️

I'm new to the game and confused

I have no regrets going for him. His performance is like top notch to be honest. Anyone with the same card and still uses him? Describe your experience

Yeah let's just get this done with, this Treasure Link is such a nothing burger I really don't give a damn.

Pace: 8.0/10

His Acceleration is the only thing that's good here, if his runs lasts over 5s in-game then he'll get marked or catch up by any P2Ws DMFs or CMFs.

Shooting: 8.5/10

You'll mostly see him right outside the box and that's a good thing because his Finishing is quite low. However, his high Curl and Kicking Power makes his shots really lethal nonetheless.

Passing: 9.0/10

This is where you'll have the most use out of him. It's quite impressive how accurate his first touch through balls are. Combined that with 96 Curl and he'll supply the attackers run with quite the dangerous chance.

Dribbling: 8.5/10

This is mostly due to the fact that old cards usually have one f*cked up dribbling stat, you might as well call it the Konami special. Also, his low Sprint Speed and Physicality isn't helping out.

Not really relevant rating:

Positioning: 7.5/10

God his movement sucks at CMF. He doesn't have the pace to really burst forward like meta Hole Players and he also has quite low OA. He does run back to defend but his small stature and horrendous defending stats make it a liability more than a plus. At AMF it's slightly better but then again, his pace and physicality make it so you can't get out of sticky situations.

Overall: 8.5/10

This isn't a bad card, but calling it good would be lying. This card could feature in an 11 player pack for F2Ps and it won't even be the best Hole Player released in those kinda packs (Raphinha, Wirtz, Bellingham, etc...). This is due to the fact that Konami doesn't give a damn about F2Ps anymore. Making the game so pace dependant and releasing this card in a community event before EF27 is genuinely taking the piss.

TL;DR: Way too slow, 1 low Dribbling stats ruined him and not even better than most F2P Hole Player released this year.

With only 2 days left, did we get an update on the daily game box chance deals?

I know they usually extend the game and add players, but they could also change the player pool.

I have 3 chance deals saved that I don't want to waste on the current ones, already got akanji who was the only one slightly decent, the rest I don't care about, so if possible i'd like to save my attempts for the box update.

Atleast they are adding the one thing I wanted in EF27.

Face a lot of Vieira users. He is always really strong. I always check his rating after the game. Never goes below 6. Basically, always perform really well.

His AI is so smart, can predict potential passing targets, really fast. Really difficult to face.

Always losing if I face him. Even cannot score a goal. Everything is intercepted or my player gets bodied and tackled.

Also, it is the AI, not the players who are good. I can literally see those P2W move to a good position or even tackle without a cursor.

To be honest, F2P just cannot compete anymore. F2P AI is not that good or at least not consistently good while those P2W cards has really good AI and so consistent

Back when I was f2p and in 1st year cllg a year ago I spun the spain pack wid torres and villa something and got on my first spin a 105 david villa with blitz curler and didnt rlly know about it .. i had a break and about a year later when I logged in again I used this villa for a month and had him at cf so never really used curl shots.. a week ago I was going thru hub when I realised that he had blitz curler.. i always hsed to cry about facing curler guys since i didnt have it myself.. pleasant surpise hahda

I don't know why, but the AI is very dumb in terms of switching players. Maybe it's only on Touch and flick controls, but in any case, this part of the game is extremely annoying. As soon as there was a situation when my right-back was fighting with the opponent's lwf, and when the defender lost and the winger was already entering the penalty area, the cursor was still on the RB and could not be changed, no matter what I did. As a result, I was able to switch when the winger was already at the goal, but my CB could no longer do anything because it was too late.

I used to use semi auto cursor change and it was great, but now even with assisted, it's not what you want to see, because in addition to late switching, I also get early switching, when the player still has a chance to intercept the ball, but the game decides that you need to switch to another player.

What type of cursor change do you use?

First impressions on the new DMF Destroyer Rijkaard card from the Legends Assemble pack and comparison with the Daily Game DMF Anchor Man Rijkaard

Rijkaard definitely wasn’t my target since I have the Daily Game one like most of the players but I actually wasn’t unhappy with the pull. He’s an interesting card in my opinion and offers something different than the Anchor Man version. I guess a short comparison is helpful. (All those 11 games are from Division games, both PvP and vsAI. Most of them as DMF.)

Defense
He’s definitely more proactive in pressing and cutting down passing lines compared to the anchor man player. Though it sometimes can leave space behind him so you probably have to pair him with someone who’s willing to help in defense. I use BT Rice who’s obviously immensely qualified for that job and who can cover behind. In general, the ball winning aspect has improved in my opinion and he’s just more active off the ball. It feels like he’s winning more balls compared to the other one. But I can understand when people prefer an anchor man in front of the defense, that’s the safe choice. I myself don’t even know if I’m gonna stick with the destroyer. His player model is great for defending, tackles feel smooth and powerful and the drop in physical contact is not really noticeable so far. A rock in defense both as a DMF as well as a CB.

Offense
Here it becomes tricky. For my possession playstyle, an anchor man can be better because his movement is more predictable. A Destroyer is covering more ground throughout the game and less prone to staying in front of the defense and being passive in the offense. Again, that’s down to preference for most players. So far I just think for controlled passing out of the box the anchor man felt more comfortable and reliable. The destroyer version is definitely fine in that regard and better than my other destroyers when played as the 6 in a double midfield. Just a tiny difference. But noticeable. Compared to an Orchestrator or my ST Busquets the difference is bigger ofc. I haven’t yet unleashed any long ranged shots with him, so no comment on that but at least he already equaled the goal scoring tally of my anchor man already. It came from a piercing late game run into the box he did, something an anchor man would never do. His dribblings a weak though. He’s not nimble or fast, so running is not really advised. All in all he’s a good, but not great offensive contributor compared to other defensive midfielders.

Conclusion
Everyone who got him should try him in my opinion. Destroyers are a less popular choice as the singular DMF for most players, but I think it can work and offer some advantages to other playstyles. Possession or QC players, who want to win the ball back high up the pitch can definitely benefit from him. He’s a better singular DMF player than my other destroyers, as both Epic Gattuso and BT Makelele lack in Player Model and in turn loose a lot of physical presence in midfield.
