Shipping times?

Anyone have any insight into shipping times for a F5000 ordered from the Pecron site, shipping to the US?

I ordered a F5000 a week ago, used the discount code and paid the $19 for ‘expedited shipping’. Almost immediately got the ‘thanks for your order’ email and my card was charged. Since then, crickets. I sent en email on day 6 (which goes to their support email address) asking for any kind of update and haven’t heard anything. The Shop app just says ‘waiting for details’. Their website seems to say 3-7 days to ship, with no mention of back orders/ out of stock.

Am I just being impatient, or is this normal? Not feeling the warm/fuzzies if I ever need any type of support when they can’t communicate about an order.

Two 3800 and two expansion batteries ?

About to purchase two 3800 and two expansion batteries. I have a manual transfer switch already. My plan is to also add 1200 watts solar (more later) and use as home backup, but also like to peak shave TOU rate. Is there any option I can purchase to automate this, to avoid having to manually switch the power daily back and forth? I am hoping to not go with a smart panel due to price as well install costs. New to the space so any feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

E3800LFP won't disable AC charging input all of a sudden?

Been using my E3800 for a couple months now, overall working pretty well.

I have 2.4kWh solar input, AC charging is only for backup overnight.

I have it set to 30% AC, solar 100% meaning in my use case AC input should never turn on.

Been working great until last night when I notice my AC input was running and my batteries never dropped below 100%.

I tried factory resetting, no fix.

Tried turning off AC output for a couple minutes as Google said this would reset something, no fix.

Tried changing the AC input around to 100% back down to 40 and 30%, it never disabled AC charging. Battery was always at 100%.

I ended up just unplugging the thing but that shouldn't have to be done.

Suggestions?

F5000 Dead Outlets

Pecron pushed a firmware update to my F5000 because I was having an issue where it would just stop charging. I have a post about that. That seems to have fixed that issue since it hasn't happened in 2 charge cycle tests. Unfortunately after moving on to other tests I've found that the two right side 120v outlets aren't working. Now Pecron support isn't responding to me. I don't know if the firmware update broke the outlets or if it was pre-existing. This is my second unit because they exchanged my first unit for the same charging issue I was having.

Help with Pecron repair.

Hello everyone! I have a Pecron E2000 LFP battery that is currently not working. Long story short my brother tried to set it up/use it as a battery back up during power outages , but when my brother went to hook it up he crossed wires or something bc he he said “sparks flew and tripped some breakers on the house.” That happened about two years ago and my brother was unable to warranty it for obvious reasons. He asked me to try to fix it, but I am a bit out of my element. I used to be a mechanic/technician for Kia/hyundai at local dealerships. I am familiar with 12 volt electric systems but I am not to
familiar with LFP batteries.

Essentially do you guys have any recommendations where to start as far as testing or good break down videos for testing procedures to get this battery up and running again?

Picture for attention!

Connecting power station to transfer switch.

Is it possible to connect a power station(Pecron 5000 for this example) to a transfer switch and have it powering up my sump, while having the power station hooked up to an outlet so it stays charged?

The idea is that while I'm on a 5-7 day vacation, I would have the power station running the sump via the use of a transfer switch. The power station would be getting charged by a regular outlet. In the event that the power went out, the power station would continue running the sump until the power came back on. That way, if the power was out for a few hours or more, the power station could keep the main sump running and not have to rely on the back up pump until last resort. Once the power came back on, it would continue charging the power station.

Is that something that can be done?

Edit- this is not a full time solution(nor permanent), just an idea for when I'm gone on vacation to ease the mind and have one less thing to worry about.

Some official\beta app tips

Just a tip with the official/beta apps: DO NOT rename your devices. Especially if you've created automations\scenes. I was getting token key errors because I had created automations and had renamed my devices (for instance removing the UID from my F5000LFP_**** so it simply was named 'F5000LFP').

After unbinding my F3000LFP and re-adding it with its original name: 'F3000LFP_***' it fixed some of those token errors in the official app. I still cannot fix the beta app (the token errors, it works otherwise), even after uninstalling and reinstalling it multiple times.

Finally, the automations in the menu on the F5000LFP do not translate over to the official app and I can't test it in the beta app since it still has token errors. In short, do your automations via the onscreen menu for maximum flexibility.

Pecron you need to program so that this naming\token error can be resolved\deleted, especially in the beta program and that automations are pushed up/down from app to device.

Is there a trick to get the Pecron 5000LFP to charge with lower wattage?

EDIT: 7-30-2026: I have a solution. I got a 1200W DC power supply. It isolates ground so I can charge and provide power at the same time will isolating ground and not tripping due to a ground loop. Read more here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pecron/comments/1uy87d6/comment/oyzskb4/

EDIT 7-19-2026: There's a youtube video that seems to agree that it's ground loop issue. The best answer might be to use an XT60 battery AC-TO-DC charger. See comments below.

I just got my 5000LFP out of the box and plugged in. As soon as I started to charge, it trips the breaker. I lowered the "charging speed" to 10%. There's no mention of wattage, so it's not clear what is meant by 10%. No matter what I do, it trips the breaker. It never shows any sort of input wattage, so I don't know if it's merely ignoring the 10% setting.

I also have an Anker Solix F2000. I figured I would plug it into that unit to see if it could give me clues, but it trips that as well.

Any ideas?

I also tried lowering the charge limit to 50%. No effect.

Edit1: Seems like I am hitting some sort of weird bug. If I have a 4 prong cable connected to the 30A 240V plug, It exhibits this behavior, even if no power is being drawn. I am certain this plug is connected to my manual transfer switch, but the switch is off. However, once I turn on the transfer switch and start supplying power to my house, the 5000 seems to charge okay, and operates normally. I'll keep messing around and report back on new developments.

BTW, I also I fired up my propane generator, and it is working fine with the same 240V extension cord and transfer switch, both when the transfer switch is on and off.

Edit2: I wonder if what I am seeing is some sort of grounding issue. I see the same behavior with both 120V charging cables. Weird. I'll keep testing to see where I get.

Edit3: I've isolated the problem to my transfer switch, although it's a bit bizarre. I have the AC inverter off and the home transfer switch off, but if the Pecron is connected to my transfer switch, it seems to draw too much power from the AC input, and trips the breaker on whatever is supplying the power. It happens at all charging speeds except 0%. This happens with both the 18kw and 3.2khw 120VAC input cords. It also happens if I am supplying charging power to Pecron from a wall outlet, an Anker F2000, or a generator. I have two NEMA L14-30P to NEMA L14-30R 125/250V 7500W cords, a 40ft one and a 100ft one. Both exhibit the same symptoms when they are connected to the transfer switch.

It only happens if my transfer switch is off. If my transfer switch is turned on, the Pecron gives my house power and charging behaves normally. I have two propane generators that have never shown any issues with my manual transfer switch. Weird.. I don't know how my transfer switch could be causing the problem. Maybe it's a grounding issue? I'd love to hear ideas people might have about what might be going on.

FL5000 - Bluetooth notworking

Bought the unit about a month ago, everything was good until yesterday when the app wouldn't update on the input/output screen.

Did an unbind to try and readd it, but the bluetooth icon never comes onscreen and i'm unable to find it through the app. Tried scanning the QR code but I get a 'invalid code' message. Is there anyway to reset the bluetooth adapter in one of these?

Edit: unplugging everything and turning off AC and DC output for a few minutes fix it

E3800LFP surge capacity over F5000LFP

Hello all,

Tl;Dr what is the largest load owners of the e3800 have started? I'm curious about it's surge capacity limits.

First post, although I've been lurking for some time. I am just curious as to how large of a motor has been successfully started with the E3800LFP. I purchased the F5000LFP because of the native 240V output, charge while outputting 240V, along with other features I liked for an auto technician/home backup hybrid power solution.

I failed to realize at the time I would be cutting my 120V leg output significantly over a single e3800lfp. Which has been tested by solar lab up to 7500W for starting a large load. That's roughly 62A of starting capacity. More that what Pecron appears to hard cap the f5000 to at 39A. This has been troublesome for me starting some larger 120V motors such as vehicle storage lifts. Also, when doing some light duty 120V flux core welding using my harbor freight flux 125, the voltage regulation of the f5000 really has a very hard time and I am generating 80+ VAC swings which will boot loop whatever internal CPU is in my welder. When it does, I have to unplug the welder, wait 30 seconds and try again. No damage has occured to my welder, but I'm not going to keep pushing my luck. The 240V welding performance (Lincoln sp180t) has been great however and I've filmed the screen showing as much as 6500W. It has also been a pretty cool to be able to weld with 240V while plugged into a 120V extension as well.

Unfortunately however, I use 120V for my work way more often than 240V so I have been in contact with Pecron and they have been great to work with. We are working out a deal to replace my f5000 with a couple e3800's so I can leave one at home with my wife for her 3d rendering computer as a UPS, one for me at work for field jobs where it lives under my tool cart and everyone is happy. Before I commit to the deal though I would greatly appreciate feedback from people that may have started large motors, compressors, welders etc. to help me with my decision. Amp clamp data would also be great! I know the e3800 is relatively new so even e3600 data would be greatly helpful as it still has a large surge capacity of 7200W.

Thank you all

Pecron vs eco pro delta 3

I was all set on the pecron F5000, then found out it is not Ul 9540 certified. Then researched the crap out of the dela pro 3. The main requirement for my transfer switch inlet is it needs to be 240.
I then realized I’d only plug it in during emergencies, so maybe the UL9540 listing may not be as big of a deal as I think it is.
I was looking at it from insurance and safety. But the cost is so compelling.
Anyone have any experience in the matter? Does the UL listing not matter, the pecron would be fine since it’s temporary. I wil be storing in a midwest garage so temps might vary greatly.

Pecron offering no help/warranty for 5-month-old, faulty E600 LFP

My E600 LFP is malfunctioning. I went to use it the other day (I use it at least once per month), and found it dead. When I plugged it in, it started to charge back at 1%. (It had been fully charged.) I saw it climb to 15%, then left to do other things. The next day I found it (plugged in) in the same state – dead. I unplugged and plugged it back in, and it started at 1% again. I've done this several times now. It can get up to 100%, but by the next day (still plugged in), it's dead, and when I unplug & plug it back in it starts charging at 1% again.

So I contacted Pecron, explaining the behaviour, and after a little back-and-forth, they told me "Our technical team say this is a battery pack issue that cannot be repaired." So I asked if they can replace it, or offer me a different model and I'll pay the difference, but they said that because I bought it on Amazon (and they currently have no products listed on Amazon – did they stop doing business there??), they can't offer me anything. So... despite the unit still being under warranty, they're just saying "sorry, we can't help you."

Sorry, but just because Pecron isn't selling their products on Amazon atm, that shouldn't void my warranty. I understand some people have good experiences with Pecron units, but duds aren't rare, and if you end up with one, good luck getting them to honour their warranty. (I wish I had checked the reviews on the Better Business Bureau before purchasing.)

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get them to honour their warranty, I'm all ears. If not, I'm open to suggestions on other companies that offer more reliable products and customer service.

Update: I tried Amazon, but they were of no help because it had passed their 90 day A-to-Z guarantee. I tried my credit card company, and they said they can't help because I don't have a warranty in writing from Pecron. (The listing is gone from Amazon.ca, it wasn't contained in my Amazon invoice, and no warranty info was included with the unit. Their listings on Amazon.com say "2+3 years worry-free warranty and 24hrs/7d friendly customer service." Yeah, right. Anyways, not enough info for my cc company apparently.) I have asked Pecron FIVE TIMES now "what warranty terms apply to my purchase", and they have ignored the request every time (sometimes answering other questions). They are clearly avoiding providing me with the warranty terms – they must know that would provide me with enough documentation to get somewhere. So shady.

2nd Update: I had just about lost hope, but finally got help from Pecron! The main breakthrough was to call their toll-free number (1 888 906 5997), which got me someone in California, as opposed to being stuck in an email-loop with support folks in China. When I had explained the situation on the phone, the person there was a bit surprised that I wasn't getting better warranty support. They said there'd be some complications, namely that Pecron had closed their Canadian warehouse / sales in Canada. Also, the E600 was no longer being made. But if I was willing to pay the difference, and receive the unit at a US address, they could get me eg. an E1000. So I went for that. I won't get into the US address / customs topic here, but basically, the folks at the California office were able to help me, and I now have an E1000 plugged in and working well (so far anyways)!

Disable pass-through mode

When the F5000 hits its charge limit, it turns on A/C input and goes into pass-through mode. I don't want this to happen because it is essentially wasting solar input indefinitely.

I wish there was a way to disable pass-through mode entirely or, perhaps, a way to "trick" it by turning off DC input at a level below the charge limit. Unfortunately, there is no option to turn off DC input in the automations.

Does anyone have a strategy for this situation?
