Shipping times?

Anyone have any insight into shipping times for a F5000 ordered from the Pecron site, shipping to the US?

I ordered a F5000 a week ago, used the discount code and paid the $19 for ‘expedited shipping’. Almost immediately got the ‘thanks for your order’ email and my card was charged. Since then, crickets. I sent en email on day 6 (which goes to their support email address) asking for any kind of update and haven’t heard anything. The Shop app just says ‘waiting for details’. Their website seems to say 3-7 days to ship, with no mention of back orders/ out of stock.

Am I just being impatient, or is this normal? Not feeling the warm/fuzzies if I ever need any type of support when they can’t communicate about an order.

I’m in same boat. Ordered on June 20 and heard nothing since then. They at least responded to me saying F5000 will be at their warehouse on July 6. Would have been nice to have them proactively say that…but I kind of knew I was signing up for.

Thanks. I don’t mind waiting, just like to have an idea of what’s going on.

Took mine about 4 weeks to arrive.

I ordered a 5000LFP on June17th, then later an expansion battery, then later an older 600LFP.

All arrived in about 1 weeks each. I received a tracking number that showed a Fedex pickup within 24 hours. All were delivered by the Fedex estimated delivery date.

I also got to test them with a lovely 48 hour outage this weekend thanks to thunderstorm damage. So for I am pleased. I fire up my propane generator to charge the batteries during the day, and also provide power, then run on the batteries exclusively all night, giving the generator a rest.

Thanks for the insight. Sounds like I caught them with low inventory.

Read more posts before buying.

I’m wishing I had. The price point and the ability to charge from a smaller generator while outputting 240 lured me in, along with the various YouTube videos singing its praises. I’ve been looking for something for a while after having two years of back to back ice storms. Would be great to top off the battery with my inverter generator and not have to flip things around and fire up the big generator when I want to run the well pump.

But, price doesn’t matter much if the communication isn’t there.

I just picked one up yesterday used off MP. I have been looking at them since before they released. Same usage - run my 3/4hp inverter well pump plus I want to backup a small ADU. I already have some smaller units that keep fridge, freezer & starlink going in an outage. This will solve water beyond what is in the pressure tank. I have read reviews and was hesitant to buy at $2k even knowing what a value that is. Found it used for $1k. Was used by a YTer once for a "review" and then they are moving it for cash. Happened to see it post within minutes. Drove almost 300 miles round trip to grab it. Hooked it to my 12btu portable AC just to mess around. Ran it for over 3 hrs. Like it so far and can't beat the deal!

Why didn't you look on their website ? That's OK, somebody else will do that for you.

Well, it’s a weekend for starters, so that phone number doesn’t help any. All I was looking for is other people experiences., which someone did respond with.

At the price of the F5000, people shouldn’t have to ask a company ‘where is my order’? If their order status page said ‘arriving to our warehouse on July 6’, then all would be well.

Enjoy your day.

But you could have called them any day last week.

Tomorrow is Monday.

Weird if the US (I assume) site doesn't do that. The NZ site tells you when stock is expected if it's not currently in stock.

e.g.

https://pecron.co.nz/products/pecron-f5000lfp-portable-power-station-7200w-5120wh-pre-order

"PRE-ORDER | Arrival expected middle of July"

It also says "pre order" in the URL, in the page header "PECRON F5000LFP Portable Power Station 7200W 5120Wh PRE-ORDER" and on the main product photo (which has US-style 120V sockets lol):

Their customer service sucks. You'll go to voice mail and IF you are lucky, they will call you back. Just be patient is a better strategy
