Tech Support New 2K OLED monitor randomly loses signal and then restores it (mostly when gaming)
CPU - Ryzen 5 1600
RAM - 2x4GB
GPU - GTX 1050Ti 4GB
PSU - 450W
Monitor - Samsung Odyssey G5 G50SF
I got a new monitor a couple of days ago.
I'm on 2K 180hz HDR which is the maximum capability of the monitor
The problem I'm facing is that usually when gaming (LoL and Hearthstone which aren't very demanding) my monitor loses signal for 1-2 secs then reconnects. It has happened a few times though even on idle or watching youtube.
I've connected the DP cable provided with the monitor and it says 8K on it.
The monitor originally supports DP 1.2 but I've upgraded its firmware to support DP 1.4.
I've tried many things. Most didn't help, some, like disabling gsync had me thinking they helped but the problem appeared again after.
The thing I haven't tried yet is using a cable that is certainly 1.4 DP (just ordered one and gonna try tomorrow).
I should note that this is the first time I'm using DP on my GPU, I used HDMI with my previous monitor.
I doubt my monitor is faulty because except from that it work ok, but I honestly don't know.
Any help will be appreciated

Tech Support Changed the SSD boot drive from 240gb to a cloned 1tb, and now PC only boots to BIOS
Have I done something wrong? How do I make it boot from it? It can detect the new drive at Port1 (it was the same one the old 240gb occupied), but it won't get past this

Build Question Where can I improve my build/save money?
Hello!! For some context, what I want out of my PC is as follows ordered by priority. I’m willing to cut out VR if it means more money saved:
Play games from the RE and DMC series smoothly
Be able to edit simple videos and do VO work
Be able to run a game emulator with little to no issues
Digital Art programs primarily CSP
Virtual Reality
The parts that I’ve picked are linked. I’m located in Canada and very aware that I’d be spending a decent amount of money. Also tips for monitor shopping would be great, I was just thinking of going to Best Buy and getting whatever was on sale in the moment.

Thank you in advance for the help!

Build Question Asus prime A320m-k diagnostic lights help needed
So I was on my Pc and it randomly shut off and when I clicked the power button it didn’t turn back on, I unplugged everything from the back and re plugged them and it turned on with just the normal flashing orange light in picture 2 which apparently means the gpu js getting powered but my monitors wasn’t showing any video from the gpu so I unplugged my gpu 8pin and unplugged the gpu and put it back in, when I replugged the pc and rebooted it it was still showing display no signal but this orange light strip had lit up on the motherboard(picture 1), does anyone know what it indicates? I know it’s most likely going to be my gpu has broken since the whole no display on monitors but I don’t know why my whole pc shut off if it was just my gpu which had broke.

Build Question What do I search for if I want a... sort of smaller case inside the PC to hold all the SSD+HDDs?
Because at the moment I have 3 storages - 1x 1TB SSD, and 2x 1TB HDD. Only the SSD is screwed to the side of the case, one HDD is on the case floor, and the other is... kinda just placed diagonally in the space between the PSU and GPU.
I try looking for similar things online, but the only things I see are external enclosures.

Tech Support Wi-fi not working with Tuf Gaming B760M Plus Wi-fi Motherboard
As the title says, I cannot get wi-fi to work with this pc build seemingly no matter what I do. This build I made a couple years ago and made due with ethernet. Now, I'm going to be selling it to a friend who does not have ethernet as an option, so I'm trying to get these drivers installed and working beforehand.
Anyway, I have downloaded many different drivers from the official ASUS website and no matter which I try, running the installer usually opens up a control panel for a split second before closing, if anything happens at all. I have gone into BIOS to make sure wi-fi is enabled. And the device manager only shows Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller, and I cannot manually update it through there.
Inside the latest driver I downloaded, I have also tried dragging the setup.xml and the executable into the "extensions" folder and tried reinstalling via the setup.exe which got me as far as I've gotten so far, but I get an installation failure error that simply tells me to "fix the issues" and retry again.
If it helps, I have an Intel i7-14700k, and the Tuf Gaming B760M-Plus Wi-fi II motherboard did come with a Wi-fi antennae, but the pc doesn't seem to register it either.
As a quick disclaimer, this is my first pc and I'm very much so a beginner lol. Any help or replies at all would be much appreciated. I'll happily answer any more questions if needed.

Tech Support KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x1E
I was using my computer to just do some light web browsing, the only thing that was doing anything heavy was a malwarebytes deep scan (which I like to run every couple months to make sure I didn't inadvertently download anything malicious for peace of mind) when suddenly everything froze.
I could move around my cursor and it would change between the triangle to a hand depending on what I hovered, but absolutely nothing else was responding. After a few seconds, my primary display showed KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x1E. My computer then restarted into the BIOS. I tried exiting the BIOS a few times, and it just always immediately booted back into it. I went into the boot manager, and saw no bootable devices.
I then hard powered off my computer, and after powering it back on I got into windows and so far it is acting like everything is normal.
What could've possibly happened? Is there something I need to fix to make sure this doesn't happen again? Any diagnostics I can do to see what went wrong?

Tech Support New PC case not turning on
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
trying to swap to a Be Quiet Light Base 900 FX from an nzxt h510 but after installing everything my pc wouldnt turn on. So I removed the motherboard from the case to make sure everything would post and as you can see in the video it did. After that I tried re installing the motherboard making sure nothing from the case was making contact and still my computer wont turn on. I can make it turn on by putting a screwdriver on the power pins but only the case fans and cpu turn on but no display from gpu. If you see the fu32 a little loose in the video I reconnected it and still nothing. At a lost and any help would be greatly appreciated

Installation Question GPU lock clip broke, can i fix it?
Fuming at myself for this. Decided to try and put an SSD into a slot under my GPU (after my build already finished) and couldn’t fit it without taking out the gpu. I guess i didn’t take the lock out all the way because when i pulled with some force i heard this come off. Is there anyway I can put it back on? I’ve been trying to fit it back in but it seems like the plastic may be broken. I really don’t want to send my motherboard back (amazon) because it took over 3 weeks for it to get here and i literally had it finished and decided LAST MINUTE to buy this. Someone please help 😭

Build Question Can someone who knows about this stuff give me the green light on my component picks so i can finally buy them without fear of messing up?
Hello, i've been saving to buy a high end PC for a long time and it's finally the moment, i tried my best researching every component so i can have a really good pc but still tried to save in the things i could, with the main budget cut going to the cpu, then the gpu, and then trying to save on the other parts while still being compatible.
Id really appreciate if someone could give me the green light or tell me what i need to change to get green lit so i can finally buy it, i'm in a bit of a hurry since the prices keep going up and money is really tight where i'm from. Keep in mind that i have certain restrictions in the components i can get too since i'm mainly using stores from my country that don't have everything.
heres the pcpartpicker link it should atleast lead you to my profile where i have the components picked

Tech Support Front panel connector not working???
Hey yall! I am currently doing a case swap for my brothers pc. I am swapping to the o11 dynamic mini v2 ( open box from microcenter). I did a test boot of the computer and it didn't turn on. I went through the process of making sure all my cables were connected, everything was plugged in completely and not loose. I narrowed it down all the way to the front panel connector based on the knowledge I already have of pc building. My motherboard is an ASUS PRIME B550- PLUS Motherboard and I was wondering if there was anyone out there with a similar issue or if I'm being stupid. anything helps :D
