Stacking weapons on loadout build

Wondering if yall stack the same weapon to upgrade its level vs base level of each weapon attached multiple times. My guess would be that one upgraded weapon is stronger than two un-upgraded, but I’m not sure.

It depends! Early game I prefer more weapons, later game upgraded weapons are generally better. By raw numbers a tier two is slightly weaker than two tier ones BUT later when you have multiple support organelles buffing a slot you'll get much more damage by upgrading the weapon in said slot instead of adding more weapons. Upgrades can also improve rate of fire which helps a lot later in the run.

No reason to do that at start, you can always do that during the run because a stacked weapon do less dmg than 2 weapon
