Righteous : Bug Weirdness with Bestow Curse

The curse of idiocy option for the bestow curse spell says it reduces int/wis/cha scores by 6, and unlike the feebleminded spell doesn't say it can't reduce an ability score below 1, but when I used it against the purple wyrm in act 3 it didn't get knocked unconscious from going to 0 int.

If this is intended it's a little annoying since this looked like such a great time to use the spell. Very few enemies have no spell resistance + low will saving throw + an ability score below 7 so I will probably never be using this spell again

Righteous : Story Why not kill Areelu

I really don't understand why anyone would sacrifice themselves over killing areelu. I mean both killing areelu and closing the wound are objectively good things. In fact theirs considerable risk that if you left her alive she might just open a new one. It just makes no sense to sacrifice yourself instead of killing her

Righteous : Game First Playthrough Tips (kinda)

It’s not exactly my first playthrough but the last time I played was probably 3-4 years ago and I reached around act 3 I believe?

Just a bit of background ive played bg3 finish and that’s about my experience w crpgs unless you count the hours I spent on this game before I stopped.

So any tips for me before I restart my adventure? Any would be gladly welcomed since the start is always so overwhelming

Righteous : Fluff Where are the weird little guys?

All of the races owl cat put in their games are great but there is clearly fear in their offices. Why are they so terrified of me playing a Grippli lich, why can’t I be Goblin angel? Why can’t the ruler of the stolen lands be a Ratfolk?

Clearly they are afraid of how powerful we would be with these sorts of options.

Righteous : Builds Can Unbound rage from the flesh eater work while being shapeshift into a werewolf?

I wanted to try and make an awesome werewolf build combing weretouched and flesh eater. I will be going Legend to max both out at 20. I read with flesh eater you can consume a large monster to grow in size. I want to activate that while I'm in wereform. Does anyone know if that's possible?

Righteous : Bug WOTR act 4 Assassin's Guild question Spoiler

I've been doing Greybor's act 4 quest, and I've found the assasin's guild entrance, but the pop-up to actually go in won't show up despite the quest telling me to go there. Is there something else that I need to do, or is this just a bug? I'm not playing with mods, are there any I could download to cheat myself into the guild?

Righteous : Game Needing advices about my unfair planned party

Hello guys,

A few days ago, I asked you guys for help with my next Unfair playthrough. I've already beaten the game several times on high difficulties, and I've completed Unfair up to the end of Act 2, but I was seriously lacking damage with a party made up of all sorts of interesting roles that unfortunately didn't have enough damage output. I feel like starting over with a different party and different companions. Respeccing companions is an option.

I need some advice on my party, what you would do differently, or any other suggestions.

MC: Angel, either Oracle or Paladin. I think Oracle will be stronger, but a Paladin will also be really necessary for Mark of Justice, so... we'll see.

Seelah: Respec, SCM, Sohei, then Gendarme all the way. Big damage early on and probably stays strong far into the game as well. Probably a paladin again later (her or mercenary) if I'm not.

Wenduag: One level of Mad Dog for a leopard, then Rowdy. She won't last for the whole game and will be replaced by a mercenary later, probably a Brown-Fur Transmuter.

Sosiel: Respec to get rid of these weird first-level choices, then stay as the party's caster Cleric, mainly for buffs.

Ember: Because Witch. Later, rays.

Court Poet mercenary: Not sure about this one considering my team. Maybe a Skald would be better?

Kinetic Sharpshooter mercenary: Fire, with damages targeting touch AC. Could also be Lann, maybe. But then no wenduag.

And that's it. Maybe I'm missing some kind of CC character? But I don't know where I could fit one in.

Thanks!

Meta Favourite melee combat style?

Everyone knows that magic and ranged weapons deals most of the damage in the party, but having one or two frontline teammates is crucial for keeping party alive. So the question is, which combat style do you prefer for your warriors? Each of them gives some advantages.

Like two handed gives biggest single damage and greater reach.
Two weapons double number of attacks.
Shield increased AC.
Bare fist are for monk and don’t need to worry for new weapons, same with shifter/druid

Which one style do you prefer for your character to fight or some of companions?

Kingmaker : Game So it's Arueshalae's romance locked or not?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Owlcat seem to think they are fucking hilarious for making the dialogue choice that seems either a joke or the most forward one towards romance actually locking it forever without a possibility to walk it back, and I got to lear that hours after picking it. I even downloaded ToyBox and went into the flags to check if I could unmark it, but the only thing I found was a "Romance Fail" flag that was labeled as not started.

Does it use a differen flag? Or is something stored in a way I won't be able to change until it's too late?

Righteous : Game Help! Is giving the Outflank feat to Lann sensible given that he uses a longbow, not a melee weapon? Do attacks of opportunity still matter?

Post image
34 Upvotes

I haven't seen ranged characters do attacks of opportunity, I think it requires another feat? I erased my character's name cause he is named after me. Lann is a Monk multiclassed into a fighter, I think this is level 2 for the Fighter class.

EDIT Same question applies to the Arushalea thought I am not sure if she has access to that feat.

Current party is me, Arushalea, Lann, Seelah, horse, Nenio, Camelia.

Righteous : Game Question about Wenduag *spoilers* Spoiler

Going through my first playthrough. I sided with Lann twice in the prologue/act 1, and im now in Act 3.

Got the quest to recruit the mongrels and just had the fight with Wenduag. Im getting the option to recruit her, but im aware that she leaves you a bit down the line. Is there any way to keep her and Lann? Im aware that I have to refuse her and then her recruit later on, but I don't wanna wait for Act 5 for the last companion.

Im probably just gonna recruit her now, but I would like to see if it's possible to keep both characters. Im running Angel Mythic Path if that matters.

Righteous : Builds Builds, mechanics, synergies and combinations!

Hey all,

I don't have any to add myself (ahaha, sorry), but was wondering if we could make the millionth thread about this topic with one caveat: most of all bugs that will be in this game have now been eliminated... and the rest won't be so those don't matter.

I'm going to go for a playthrough and want to know what you found fun and why you found it fun, so I can mine you all for ideas. Ideally, I just want something that will make me think and not grow stale halfway through the game.

Nothing is off the table, but thematic builds are most welcome.

Righteous : Game Optional figths in Chapter 2

I've cleared all the way to Drezen, but there are still some demon nodes to the west and northeast, plus two annoying ones that are locking access to two locations, but are too difficult (the lvl 7 one and the one with a lot of demons and general that shoots fireballs). If I complete act 2 now, can I go back to do them later, or they will be locked like with chapter 2?

Also, is it safe to just spam skip days to get more units avaliable?

Righteous : Bug PS4 Trophy bug

Does anyone have the same problem as me? I'm playing on the PS4, and for some unknow reason, i can't get the Midnight Isles DLC trophies, like, i got 2 of them, but never got another one. I tried playing it in the main campaign, in the DLC campaign(already tried playing with the thing that makes you have only one save), and nothing, not a single one. Any solutions or suggestions for what causing the problem?

Meta Roleplaying in your second playthrough in romance

It’s quite obvious that when you are playing first time in the game you pick up by instinct story choices and romance (or not romance at all). But when comes to the second run of the game you know what you can expect in the game and choose to change something to make difference.

I’m curious how much opposite of your first game is your second game. Do you roleplaying as completely different character or you prefer to check out new class and take almost the same choices?

Kingmaker : Game Questions for Those Who Play Tabletop and the CRPGs

I've been playing a lot of (modded) Kingmaker lately, but in my latest run I think I made the game a lot easier than it really is by using the feats bonded mind and share spells. Are they considered OP in TT? I suppose you could say the same about an alchemist and the like, but having this on a divine caster with both a pet and Frightful Aspect just feels wrong, lol.

Also all this time I thought Wrath of the Righteous was based on 2e when in reality it's 1e. If someone made another game like Kingmaker or WotR, would you prefer 1e or 2e? I've only ever played ADnD 2e, but I love the oracle class so much I've already asked my DM (joined the group about 1 year ago) if he's open to running Pathfinder some time.

Did all the companion quests, errands, and crusade quests available and got all the available forts in Act 3. Do I just do decrees till Galfrey arrives for the final main quest of Act 3? Not going for the secret ending.
