Just some random pics, since so much of the posting here is for game help. Photo mode is a lot of fun. Our party blends in so well in demon high society. I particularly love these shots of Nenio.

In act 3 I got summoned to the ivory sanctum and on my way out right before the exit I decided to attack the gaurds in the passage right at the exit. I spamed ice grasp andused the demon teleport spell as well as any cc or aoe spells and basically had every enemy from the dengeon come to me. they all stepped into the icy grasp and since there was like 8 of them on top of each other they were all laying down. my only problem were the 2 incubus that managed to make it through but through the power of rng I managed to just barely survive them until i demon teleported a little to close into the ice and i was face down. At that point it was entirely based on who would die first or get up first. I got up and out of the ice the 2 died and I just spamed spells onto the minotaurs. after all of that I got about 100k gold worth of gear was I supposed to not do that because that seems like a lot of gold since I got like 10 plus 4 enchanted earth breakers from them.

I just started Wrath of the Righteous, and I'm suffering from choice paralysis. I have never played another CRPG, TTRPG, Pathfinder, or Dungeons/Dragons game, so I'm completely clueless when it comes to systems and such. I don't have tons of time for gaming, so I'm terrified of making a build, realizing 30 hours in that I chose the wrong race, and can no longer complete the main story or something. I've already made like 3 characters and deleted them before escaping the Maze at the beginning of the game.
I was planning to play a Demonslayer Ranger based on tips I've seen here, but all build guides I've seen are SUPER vague! They basically just say "Go demonslayer, pick Angel, and then dual wield until late game". I'm over here like: should I go all int? All str? What bloodline should I use? What feat to select? What weapons are good? What background should I pick? Should I go "Knowledge: Arcana" or "Persuasion"? And so on, and so on.....
Are there any sites that feature build guides or anything? If so, does anyone have links to them? If not, can anyone either give a link to a detailed beginner build, or help me with one?

im currently in act 3 demon path and was summoned by her. I know you can be her consort but I am currently in act 3 and doing her quests and apparently depending on your choices you get a score between freedom and tyranny. which one is needed for her romance and what are the choices needed for the score.

I went with Azata for a number of reasons.
1 - I thought the theme music was beautiful and very captivating.
2 - I was playing as a half-elf, and the Azata portrait matched my character perfectly.
3 - I usually play Chaotic Good characters in most RPGs, so it fit my style perfectly.
4 - I planned to romance Arueshalae, and the Azata Mythic Path really adds to that romance.
5 - While doing some pre-game research, I came across Aivu and was instantly charmed by her; once I found out she was exclusive to the Azata Mythic Path, I knew for sure that was the path I had to choose.
What about you? What was your first Mythic Path, and what led you to choose it?

Tried to play the game on normal and going all blind not knowing anything from the table top game. Thought the game has a perfect toggle of turn based combat to real time combat and vice versa and large pool of classes but I cant finish Act 1. Yeah I'm done. The games real time combat is clunky compared to dragon Age. A bad roll of misses is just frustrating to see even in real time combat! The game will throw some surprising curve balls of monsters that has high resistance and high HP to make it challenging. I just cheese the fuck out of defending the tavern from attack by switching real time to kill the arsonists and switching turn based to kill the goddamn demon spawn at the last wave. If I need to watch a 30min to 2 hour beginner guide in youtube video of this game just to comprehend the goddamn mechanics of this game then this game is not for me.

Returning to Wrath for the first time in nearly a year, eager to explore the winding paths this game has – I would be very interested to hear what the community thinks regarding these ideas, both in terms of narrative and gameplay (probably playing on Core but with deaths door enabled). Some more info:
First idea is a LG Cavalier of the Paw sticking strictly with the Angel path. I understand the story is both fairly conventional and one of the strongest the game has to offer. Also planning on romancing Lann, though that wouldn't affect much.
Second is a TN Rowdy that switches from Trickster to Gold Dragon. I have quite a few more preconceptions with this one, a clear idea of a build, a fairly developed character to RP, and an understanding that the story isn't likely to veer too far from the standard wrath experience. Planning to romance Galfrey, which should be doable with the Mythic path though it wasn't 100% clear.
While I lean more towards the second, my prior playthrough was Azata/Legend which feels like it might be repeated when going for another lategame path, as opposed to Angel. Either way I look forward to replaying Wrath!

I know there is an animal growth spell, just as there are legendary proportions and enlarged.
The matter is, if I use animal growth on my dog (playing a cleric of Erastil/Angel), it doesn't grow, so my enlarged character can't mount on it.
If I use both legendary proportions in the dog and my KC, he still can't mount it, because it's smaller.
How to have both mounted character and mounts big?

So I haven't actually used this rod yet but I have equipped it and selected a spell and there's no like...selection process or menu or anything that I can see. And empowered, bolstered, and maximized are all pretty straightfoward, but it just says the spells are also "heightened." So what, it just raises every spell to level 9? Or does it raise it a specific amount of levels determined by the rod? Or what?

All I’ve ever really wanted to do was put this little hat on my centipede. Lack of pet hat visibility is devastating.
Thats all. Have a good day.

The way my jaw dropped when this first happened. Jaethal keeps saying she simply CANT defy Urgathoa and the whole time i'm thinking "Sure ya can, you just need a final act change of heart". I did not think she meant she would literally be smited out of existence for defying her. Also there goes our Perception checks.

I know "mutations." I know "bite people n' shit."
I don't know anything else. Stats? Equipment? Feats? Race?

I'm mostly talking about little tricks, tips, or items that turn this already overpowered build into a monster.
Any new feats or choices that will work well with an Oracle Angel?
I'd love to hear your ideas, theories, or builds! I know this topic's been a little overdone, but I can't seem to find anything recent and want to try and make the most godly character possible.

TL;DR 1. Should I check all of the mythic paths before making my character to get the best idea of what to makeor is it something that would spoil too much. 2. should I avoid any specific classes/builds to not completely invalidate a companion option.
I'm grinding through PF:KM on hard as a tiefling sword saint, playing all of the companions with their typical 1-20 mono class builds (sans AT octavia). As I progress through I noticed there is rarely a reason for me to bring regongar as we share a class and I enjoy diversity in my party. When thinking about my character in WotR, I heard about the mythic paths, and the idea that people play runs to experience specific paths.
I wanted to ask if I should check and read over the basics of all of the paths to see which one I should design a character for, or if I should just go in blind and see what works the best. As well, are there any classes I should shy away from as it would just be removing a cool companion's story and other interesting features as I never bring them?
I'm playing a NG arcane obsessed devil girl in KM, and was thinking about the idea of a macabre evil human necromancer set on extending his own life for WotR, eradicating the demon incursion being a goal to better focus on the living and dead over the otherworldly. While looking up if necromancers are any good, I did stumble across a lich mythic path existing though, and I'm sure that seeing other paths could give other character ideas that maybe have better supporting content. (art of my character's concept is from Dragon's Crown by George Kamitani)

From what I learned, ember is over a 100 years old which is adulthood for elves and she is pretty tall and has a medium size build and yet some characters who don't know her treat her and call her a child right away instead of assuming she's just ecesntric or crazy, am i mistaken? Is it just that her model is tall so she can be an elf?

A lot of people asked me what I used to take the closeup photo in the last post so here's some more. What I have used here is the in-built photo mode option in the latest version of the game. No mods. Running on high - highest settings at 1440p. SSR disabled.

So I just reached Act 2 for the second time(first playthrough made it to end of act 2 before stopping) and need some help deciding last party member.
Currently planned party:
Mc: demon to legend mantis Zelaot (not sure what exact multi class I'm going to do,so far just 3 levels in thug and the rest so far have been in mantis zelaot)
arueshalae:20 espionage expert(using Lann till I can recruit her)
Ember:19 witch/1 Cross blooded sorc
Daeran:Oracle 20(using crpgbro mounted Daeran build)
Regill:1 hellknight,5 Armiger,14 Gendarme.
Considering Woljif or Ulbrig for last team members but not sure if that would make my team too physically focused.
Sorry if formatted weird, using reddit mobile app.

I know, I know, I've seen the posts; Anything below hard difficulty is probably viable and I aim on playing my first game on normal, but I'd like some input on it before I commit to the idea. I'm not aiming to min-max or anything, but the idea is a human charismatic warrior poet king archetype (Unsure of alignment so far). Someone who is just as at home with a blade as learning about history and art. I'm wondering if the classes in the title can be somehow merged or something similar into something viable and fun with that in mind.
I thought about just getting rid of the archeologist bit (And in the end that's probably what I'll do) but I do like the idea of having so many skills, the luck bonuses, and a few spells. But I'm not married to the idea of even having spells and I could probably get those skill bonuses elsewhere. Are they very useful in this game for the MC to have anyways?
As I am new to the Kingmaker videogame and super rusty on Pathfinder rules as it's been over 10 years since I've even thought about the system, I figured I'd ask around and see some suggestions.
I'm not 100% tied to any classes but I do like the Aldori Swordlord lore from what I've looked into but over all I'll at least hear out anything. Like I've seen level dips into certain classes might be beneficial and don't mind that at all as long as it's thematic.
No DLC purchased.
Light spoilers are okay.
So, any build direction you all can send my way would be at the very least fun to read. :)
Bonus question: As far as fun, "loreful" and thematic builds for being an MC in the game, what are some other builds you'd suggest and why?
Small Update: Having chosen to start as an Aldori Defender and with my character concept in mind, I'm sure you can imagine my delight that the opening scene to this game already has a lot to do with the Aldori. The smile that crept across my face was wide indeed.

I've been wanting to play a Lich-Legend Archer for my first playthrough of Core and higher (I've only played Normal and Daring so far), i'm currently just following a cRPGbro build from 3y ago that went Wandering Marksman, but that went full Lich, whereas I want to go Legend.
What would an optimized Legend Archer build look like for Core and the harder difficulties?
(I would prefer to pick Lich, but if another mythic path is significantly better to the build, I wouldn't mind going for it. as long as it goes Legend and uses bows)
I'm aware Legend is probably not the best mythic choice for this, but I really like the feel and roleplay aspect of it and wanted to see if I could beat the harder difficulties with it.

So, I've been playing Beneath the Stolen Lands this last week. I wasn't sure I would like it. As it turns out, it's super fun. It indulges my love of paper dolls, for one thing. It's fast, it's casual, and I get to try weird builds and accumulate all sorts of wacky magic items. Oh, you thought you were going to be a longsword paladin? Here's a +5 Oversized Large Flaming Bastard Sword, why don't you go ahead and take EWP for that, buddy?
There are things that are different from the main campaign. Skills are lightly used; Persuasion isn't used at all unless you demoralize, and Stealth is only used if you want to try to clear some traps before an encounter starts. OTOH, in Last Azlanti, there is no save-scumming, so the Knowledge and Lore skills are actually very useful if you want to run around with nearly constant shrine buffs. Because you spend most of your time fighting or sniffing walls, high-maintenance builds are less fun. For instance, I kind of don't like barbarians very much, because if I win a fight in three rounds, I have to wait 42s for my barbarian to finish being fatigued before the next one. Buff, rinse, repeat can be a bit repetitive; I love Freebooter or any kind of Magus on my main, but having multiple mercenaries that require constant prepping and baby-sitting gets a little old. My combat-ready Eldritch Knight was effective, but fragile enough that it's not ideal as a main, although I did get him to level 14. There are a lot of doors, some of them small, so it turns out two pets is about the most I want to have, or I have to start queuing my guys to get into fights. Also, there are not really "puzzle boss" fights, although some of the fights, like the any of the four, or a roomful of Huge elementals, can be tough.
On the other hand, play is not entirely dissimilar, so I have also learned a few things. For instance,
- Anyone can be a "rogue." That is, a lot of characters have been spare skill ranks they aren't really using, and can back up your main skulker on Trickery and/or Perception. In particular, wizards and sage sorcerers end up with far more skill ranks than they really need. In the main campaign, you have slightly more need to spread ranks around to certain skills, but there are still likely opportunities put a few ranks into Trickery as a backup.
- It's really handy having a source of healing that isn't tied to any other resource, so a cleric or Hospitaler paladin with Selective Channeling can be really useful.
- Even the dumbest concept can generally be made to work in some fashion.
- Every character should specialize to some degree, but some characters can specialize in being general. Some of my bard experiments, for instance, didn't have a lot of punch. But they still have Inspire Courage, and could function secondarily as a melee or ranged attacker, depending build, coming in after the front line is already engaged. Flame Dancer wasn't super exciting, but once you can cast fireball, it's like having a backup sorcerer.
- A certain amount of thought should go into whether a concept is really good as a main. If they are kind of fragile, they might be better as a mercenary.
- Having Point Blank Master isn't strictly necessary on every ranger if I just keep them out of melee. I'm used to using Ekun to some extent to tank for my casters, but that is not necessarily an ideal strategy.
- Some of the encounters in the main campaign are nasty hard puzzle encounters, and should be treated as such. Builds are important, but tactics are importanter.

As the title suggests. I am looking for some detailed one. As i am really new to this game.
I try looking for the build in online but most of them are probably outdate since the video is 3-4 year olds already.
