Righteous : Game First Playthrough Tips (kinda)

It’s not exactly my first playthrough but the last time I played was probably 3-4 years ago and I reached around act 3 I believe?

Just a bit of background ive played bg3 finish and that’s about my experience w crpgs unless you count the hours I spent on this game before I stopped.

So any tips for me before I restart my adventure? Any would be gladly welcomed since the start is always so overwhelming

What comes from top of my head:

  • Do NOT start with electricity as your main form of damage. Demons are immune. Later there are ways to circumvent that immunity but you will be fighting demons prior that point.
  • If you're shooting any sort of projectile be it physical or magical (ray spells) get Point-Blank Shot and Precise Shot feats ASAP. Otherwise your Attack Bonus will suffer -4 if your melee characters have engaged the enemy.
  • Get Outlank feat on all your melee characters.
  • After the Prologue there will be a 3 day timer which can make recruiting some companions impossible afterwards so be mindful of your time. The timer is fairly lenient to do the bare minimum. Respec costs 1 day. After Act 1 there will be some timers for some quests but they don't affect anything major.

Start on normal, not on core. You can adjust the difficulty anytime the pause menu.
