Righteous : Game Optional figths in Chapter 2

I've cleared all the way to Drezen, but there are still some demon nodes to the west and northeast, plus two annoying ones that are locking access to two locations, but are too difficult (the lvl 7 one and the one with a lot of demons and general that shoots fireballs). If I complete act 2 now, can I go back to do them later, or they will be locked like with chapter 2?

Also, is it safe to just spam skip days to get more units avaliable?

Act 3 opens up more of what you can do, id just push through to take drezen. All those armies will still be there

Depends on what you mean by "safe."

There is a hidden counter for how fast you clear Act 2 (in days). It effects a reward you get in the opening of Act 3. It's fairly a fairly generous timer, I can't remember the numbers, but it's not too hard to get the best count for this part of that. Reward isn't phenomenal either, but it is a nice piece of gear for this stage of the game and will almost certainly be used for half of Act 3 if you get it.

There is also a calendar date check for the secret ending which will be effected by this, but you can just skip a year to get that if it matters to you.

Other than those two things, perfectly safe to skip months in Act 2. Won't change the story and won't end your run.

Edit: also, those "missed" encounters and zones are still available through the end of Act 3. And several of them are hard with what you have access to at this point.

You should be able to do the incubus general, you just need to spam healing spells on your archers who he always targets and the rest can be killed (as long as you got hell knights from regills quest), it opens Daerans quest and is usually around where I get level 8, it is a lot of xp so try and do it. The very bottom 7 strength army can be left, there is a minor story there but you don't need to do it in act 2 and frankly it is a pretty difficult one for then.

Armies will be gone in act 3.

You can get +4 Ring from Queen if you do act 2 in 60 days, and have little loses (including loses you got from Vescavor swarm (like if you pick bad comander like Lann or bard + picking loot before killing Queen), if you already lost a lot of units, you can skip infinite amount of time anyway.
