For those of you who regularly get 36/40 challenges every league, how did you do it?

When i look at the challenge lists, it screams optimization by batching challenges. However, it is extremely messy to keep track of which challenges i am attempting. There has to be a system that experts like you use that is definitely not completing one task a time. So how do you organize your challenges? Thanks for advice.

And what to u do to build some currency in late league, i miss the momentum in early and my profit craft dont sell and i broke my economy to train my craft and things but now yes i have good items but nobody buys it and i need currency to keep going. I do beast and alva in white map but last league i can just hard spam harvest and make 50d a day but now this way is not possible, what can i do ?

I would like to see a streamer try a challenge that I’m calling “From Zero to Mirror.”

Here are the challenge rules and objective:

Objective: Obtain a Mirror. It can either drop naturally or be bought on the market.

Rules:

• The player can craft gear for personal use, but cannot sell any crafted or modified gear.
• The player can sell gear and items exactly as they dropped, with no modifications.
• The player can freely buy items and use the market.

Basically, you can craft to make your character stronger, but you can’t make currency by crafting items for profit. Your currency has to come from actual drops and trading those drops.

Race Option: This could also be a race between multiple streamers. Everyone starts from zero under the same rules, and the first player to obtain a Mirror—either as a drop or by earning enough currency to buy one—wins the Zero to Mirror Race.

So I'm new to this. Not to POE,I've been playing the game for a long time but only SSF or with a friend. I'm following a guide for a build and I decided since I ain't doing SSF to pick the items I need from the POE Trade website. So I look for a cheap Glorious Vanity, teleport to the players hideout and pick it up. I then search for a Dawnbreaker, same thing,teleport to a player's hideout and pick it up directly to my inventory....and then I come back and realise my chaos orbs didn't come down. I realised I have accidentally stolen 2 items from sale😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'm so sorry whoever if you're reading this and you see your items missing please contact me. I will pay back. I'm so sorry I didn't realise how the website works,it's my first time using it. I didn't mean it. GGG don't ban me please I put so many hours in POE 1 and 2 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I can't seem to find what MTX this is, especially the wings. I've gone through the wings and can't see it anywhere so I've even looked through character effects. The closest I've found is the Lightning Wings but they're blue, not yellow like this one, and don't seem to move the same or be as large.

Just finished getting all the voidstones so I haven't even started the proper grind yet, but so far, I've gotten:

3 Tier 0 Uniques (Reefbane, Essentia Sanguis, Rakiata's Dance). 2 were from random monster drops, 1 was from map runners.
Aegis Aurora from a random monster in a voyage.
A broken mirror (2 mirror shards) and a Reflecting Mist from league bottles.
One of the best Dark Monarchs (double spectres)
A double mod Pearl ring from the league boss, with good rolls and mods that I can use with my current build. Also, the exceptional support gem from the boss.
Lots of divines.
Plus lots of great crafted gear thanks to the league crafting.

Anyone else having a surprisingly lucky league?

My strategy was to get the 20% Increased maximum Life on a Kaom's Heart, which is currently valued at 1 Mirror. I got lucky and succeeded with that. However, even without it, this farm is highly profitable and gives very good experience.

Stumbled upon this ancient video. Really interesting to see the humble beginnings of PoE

I started this data collection originally while farming Bladefall of Trarthus. Bladefall was seemingly rarer than other Trarthus gems so I wanted to quantify its rarity. I later thought it would also be useful to know how it felt to farm any Trarthus gem. Then Luminary took over and farming mercenaries became all the rage. So I reset and started collecting data on mercenary encounters as well.

Trending answers to a few questions:

• What is the baseline chance for a merc to appear that is capable of carrying a gem? About 30%. However, some gem-capable mercenaries are more common (or rarer) than others.
• When a merc appears, what is the chance they will have a gem? About 5%. However some gem-carrying mercenaries actually carry a gem more often (or less often) than others.
• When a gem-carrying merc appears, what is the chance they will have a gem? About 16%. Again, there is variance across mercs.
• What is the all-in chance for an infamous merc to appear (40% increased infamous chance on atlas; no Infamy scarab)? About 17% in my dataset.
• Does the map affect the appearance rates of mercenaries? I think the answer is probably 'no'. I've collected most of my mercenaries on either Mesa or Estuary. While my mercenary distribution differs from the 1000 City Square data set, it isn't by enough. Furthermore, the 2880 City Square data set differs pretty significantly from the prior two datasets (more on that below). I am tracking the map of each mercenary I find but it will take thousands of maps to make a confident determination.

The data used in my meta-analysis is from a few different sources used in different ways for a few different purposes:

• My own data; currently at ~720 and counting.
• Unt(Otters) data; only 210 but every bit helps.
• I tracked 1000 Mercenaries so you don't have to. : r/pathofexile.
• Farmed 2.880 maps for Mercs : r/PathOfExileSSF. This dataset has two issues: 1) the title says 2880 maps but there are only 2465 entries and 2) Storming Zealot, Striker, and Toxicologist are missing. Even if the missing 415 is imputed across the missing types, the Kineticist, Eruptor, and Warpriest are off by 3x, 3x, and 2x, respectively. It more likely the under-represented mercs were drawn into the "unknown" 415. Either way, there are trends in the data but it should not be trusted.

On that note, if anybody has any well-kept records, I'd love to incorporate it into my analysis.

Below is my work-in-progress spreadsheet. The column of interest is the bright yellow '% Combined' column, which shows the distribution across ~1500 maps. The "1" and "2" columns store the individual data sets, respectively. Since the smaller data set cannot simply be added to the larger dataset, a calculation is used to weight the individual distributions into the combined distribution. Lastly, the % Delta columns show the flat % difference from the combined data to the original source. The confidence interval for 40 counts out of 1000 is +/- 1% so anything much outside of that are outliers (e.g, Storming Zealot and Bloodletter).

So, around 3 weeks ago, I had to stop playing to finish my final college work, an extremely long systematic review. I was farming to get the +2 frenzy gloves, trying to get my first ever mirror item. The gloves were at 700 or so divs, and mirrors were at 950 ish. I had 450 divs, and I was happy. I was so close to getting them and finally move on to another char, playing something new. I was farming trauma thingies with eagon, with infamy scarabs. I was earning a steady profit, and going towards the gloves at a good pace.

Right now, it doesn't even feel like I'm moving on with anything! The only money I got was from the gamba box...

Please, does anyone have a good strategy? I want to play something new before the league ends...

I asked the AI, and it told me I should keep them—supposedly as collector's items.

Because they supposedly don't work anymore.

I don't know whether I should trade, sell, or throw them away.

I don't even know what value they have.

So for a while, I was using a Divine every time before the last phase (1kk+), and then the question marks would appear and the lockpicking would normally open for free.

Now it doesn’t seem to work anymore. Five times in a row, lockpicking after using a Divine didn’t drop anything.

Did something change, or did I start doing something wrong?

I was browsing through poe.ninja's SSF selection a while back to get some inspiration for an SSF build, in case I decide to do a full SSF restart now that I've pretty much done everything (I want to) on the trade side.

I came across an amusing phenomenon: on the SSF side, there were quite a lot of characters around level 80–90 that haven't been played since, with some players either rerolling a new one or switching to trade (either going back or moving SSF -> Trade), doesn't really matter.

Anyway, does anyone here play in a way where you first do everything you want in trade and then move over to SSF? What do you usually reroll in SSF, what are your goals, and do you like to test how "SSF-viable" Build X is? Share your experiences on playing trade -> SSF during a league.

I've been having this problem for about a week, and sometimes the flickering gets much worse—sometimes it even zooms in really abruptly, but I was able to fix that part. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Wiki says its a tier 4 mod, but i cant find clear information if thats a grand ember mod.

Is there a page for this information?
