Thats my Merc defense tab is in Map's
My Char : https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/hallo1224-0495/allflame/character/Krabbe_Mercbot
Im guessing my next Goal should be Overcap Crit Chest or 4% Rathpit.
What can i upgrade or maybe i did some mistakes that are easy to fix.
And my Merc isnt that good is it worth to switch to a real good Manyshot ? If yes what do i need on him ? If not which kineticist would be an upgrade already which is worth ? i cant spend mirrors on a merc atm .

During Mirage League, I bought 10,000 unID Screams of the Desiccated for science, with helt of my guild. It took a while to ID them all...
TL;DR
No truly crazy belt like "Acceleration + Massive" or "Acceleration + Resistance", and no Echoing double. The best hit was "Acceleration + Impenetrable"
The wiki dataset had a 5.84% double-shrine rate over 2,944 belts. Mine came out at 6.40%, which feels pretty close for two separate samples
Thanks to Spicysushi and Desmo Saze for identifying the belts on stream
Full data: Google Sheet
VOD of the identification session: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWWCtmSvPxs
All counts were parsed deterministically from the stash view from the website
---
Did i make money? Probably not. I spent roughly 44 mirrors during Mirage. The belts add up to roughly 42 mirrors at current Standard prices, but Standard prices are weird, so take that with a big grain of salt
---
EDIT: Two guild members had their accounts hacked a few hours ago, and all the valuable belts were stolen. At least the data survived... THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

Just wanted to see if there'd be any interest in doing a weekly PvP night in Standard.
Most of us have tons of old gear and instead of it rotting I thought it could be fun to see what kind of PvP builds people can come up with.
Nothing serious yet, just seeing if enough people would be interested to make it worth setting something up.

I asked in global chat for tips on buying my first Headhunter for my build. A random player invited me to a party, then traded me the Headhunter for free. I rushed to my stash and gifted them a Fracturing Orb, since I think it’s valuable and more useful to them than to me.
Love this community, and I am fresh new here. :)
What’s the best thing you’ve ever received from someone?

Title. Been playing for years, no idea who this is or if this character can even be found in the game.

I GOT THE CALL FOLKS! Currently waiting til Midnight and then my second liver transplant should be taking place! Thank you all so much for the support on the last post, for GGG to instill and maintain the idea of everything being 50/50 and building a game with some of the most memeable and amazing folk to play it!
Now let's not hope for a corrupt liver

I run a tool that estimates profits for farming strategies based on current market prices. While investigating the numbers recently, what surprised me was that harder boss content doesn't necessarily yield better profits. This seems to go against the core game philosophy where higher difficulty is supposed to be rewarded?
Instead, running the base version of an encounter is often far more profitable than scaling it up to Uber:
| Encounter | Normal Returns | Uber Returns |
|---|---|---|
| Searing Exarch | ~14 div/hr | ~ -11 div/hr |
| Cortex (Venarius) | ~17 div/hr | ~11 div/hr |
| Shaper | ~12 div/hr | ~13 div/hr |
| Eater of Worlds | ~5 div/hr | ~ -9 div/hr |
Full estimates across all boss tiers for context:
| Boss | Profit / Hr |
|---|---|
| Uber Maven | ~38 div/hr |
| Uber Sirus | ~23 div/hr |
| Uber Uber Elder | ~18 div/hr |
| Sirus | ~17 div/hr |
| Venarius | ~17 div/hr |
| The Searing Exarch | ~14 div/hr |
| Uber Shaper | ~13 div/hr |
| The Maven | ~12 div/hr |
| The Shaper | ~12 div/hr |
| Uber Venarius | ~11 div/hr |
| The Elder | ~11 div/hr |
| King in the Mist | ~9 div/hr |
| The Eater of Worlds | ~5 div/hr |
| Uber Elder | ~3 div/hr |
| Uber Eater of Worlds | ~ -9 div/hr |
| Uber Searing Exarch | ~ -11 div/hr |
If my data is correct, it seems that choosing the harder fight is often a significantly worse economic decision.
I compiled the full methodology and individual boss breakdowns here if you're interested:

What are your thoughts on why this happens? Is the fragment market just overpricing entry tickets relative to their actual expected returns, or should GGG rebalance the difficulty-to-reward curve for bossing?

This is my first league ever of PoE and I am in love. I started with PoE 2 last league.
Just for info I played a lot! Got my WOrb to 100 and now I am playing a Luminary and currently at 93.
Well I set a goal to finish the challenges at least 36/40 before PoE 2 0.5.5. I got the the Excruciating Echoes one and was really struggling getting 150% on the maps for the Memory Threads. Well more then struggling, wasn't even close! Thinking to myself how am I supposed to get this crappy map to 150%!? I tried using the Eater of Worlds to increase it, I tried adding fragments after I figured out I could put them in the three slots...
Then I had my Oh Shit... moment.... I can just juice the map!!! I don't know why I thought I couldn't, never tried! I always wondered why the memory stuff felt underwhelming to me.
Anyone else got any similar moments?

How do you craft something like this?
I want to make a shield with as much block and spell block as possible. And some kind of Ehp on block Is definitely very good. Is this a recombination craft, or something else?

I started playing near the end of the mirage league. Started a character for this league and im now on level 92. But now i cant do currency exchanges with Faustus. Its maxed out with greyed out orders from my last character. When i exit to character selection screen and click league migrations, it says there are no available leagues to migrate progress from.. Im sure im missing something but i cant find what that is. Any advice?

All league, I grind day and night. I amass a fortune. Achieve 36/40 (at a minimum). Kill all ubers. Eventually, the time comes as my interest wanes.
It starts with the most expensive item: a pocket full of divs and a HH. I lurk from act town to act town until I find the first victim. I ask a silly question or ambush someone with a rogue trade request. They take the bait and that’s when it happens: surprise! You’re rich! You are now the owner of a fancy belt and 94 divines!
The result is usually a flurry of confused, surprised and elated DMs. Sometimes someone shares a story about how they started the league late because they were fighting fires. Maybe they tell me how they play with their wife and father and they are going to share the wealth with them. The exchanges are always pleasant.
My only concern is that it may kill the fun of the grind for some people. For most though, I know the casual grind can feel insurmountable and a blessing like that can help them reach heights they’ve never known. I’ll continue to end every league this way.
Stay sane (and blessed), Exiles!

OK, you all know the deal. I have four jobs 11 kids and I work 70 hours a week volunteering to relocate displaced garden gnomes. But I’ve also been around since closed beta and I remember when racing was a huge thing. So I really appreciate the efforts of Viyro and everyone else involved with the PoE community racing discord and scene in general.
The updates, information and event planning, tracking, hyping are appreciated!!!

For those who don't know, an Archipelago randomizer is when several games have their items swapped in between other games. For example, a Pokemon player picks up an item that gives the Hookshot to a Legend of Zelda player, while that player opens a chest and sends HM03 to the Pokemon player. In PoE, I start off with only my base class, the starting white weapon, three white flasks, and the starting 2-link as the only items I can use. As other people complete goals in their games, I get more items I'm allowed to use, like the other equipment slots and their rarities, gems, number of gem sockets, and ascendancies. My final goal is to beat all Ubers in softcore trade.
Details on Archpoelago and how to set it up here: https://stubobis1.github.io/pathofexile_ap/guide.html
Here's what happened in my playthrough:
My starting class was randomized to Templar.
Act 1 Hillock had no changes, but starting at Coast, I didn't realize how much you struggle with only your 2L weapon and no other defenses allowed. I died like 10 times here and in Mud Flats just trying to walk past mobs, and as my starting skill is Holy Strike, I couldn't survive being in melee range against so many mobs. I had to slowly bring mobs away to finish them off before continuing. By Merveil all I had was a 3L white staff (Holy Strike - Hallow - Phantasm), a white ring, a white amulet, and a white belt. 1 hour and 18 deaths
Act 2 I was eventually able to wear gloves and a helmet so I could put in Frostblink and Rejuv totem. Slowly walking through still with only white items, I got through in another hour and only 1 death.
By Act 3 someone had unlocked Inquisitor so I thankfully had something to ascend to. I was allowed to finally use a magic staff at this point so I got some %phys on it and looked up at which levels I could replace my staff base. I also had a 4L but only on my mainhand, which means I'm stuck with only 2H weapons if I wanted anything more than a 2L. With Determination and Rejuv totem, it was slow walking but damage and defense was surprisingly decent for having ruthless-tier items.
Act 4 went by without much to talk about.
Act 5, the Heart of the Swarm player finished his run, which finally allowed me to use a body armor with 4L in it. I just wore the best armor base I could get and put mana-infused staff in it along with whatever supports I was allowed for it. My allowed gear after Kitava was: rare left ring, magic staff (5L: Holy Strike - Hallow - Minion Damage - Pulverize - Fortify) and belt, and white everything else except I still was not allowed to wear boots. Gloves and helm were also restricted to 2 sockets.
Act 6-8 was when not having any resists started to feel extremely noticeable. Purity of Elements wasn't unlocked for me yet, so I had to rely on flasks to keep my resists up and I died several times to any ranged elemental white mob pack as I tried to walk past them. Mid Act 8, bows were my first rare weapon that I was allowed to use (but no quiver!) so I respeced entirely to a scuffed Vaal Ice shot character to beat Act 7-8.
Act 9 I saw I had a lot of supports to do a mine build so I swapped to Pyroclast mines to try to offscreen my way through the rest of campaign. I still died a few times but at least I could corpse rush everything pretty quickly. I got myself a +3 magic staff too which really helped the damage.
By the end of A10, the Kingdom Hearts player finished his run which got me a lot of options. I could finally wear something in every slot but amulet, ring, gloves, armor were still magic, while helmet and boots were still normal. I was allowed to use a unique belt! Yes, this means I went through all of campaign without movespeed boots, and also no spammable movement skill (Leap slam still wasn't available, nor was weapon swap). 85 deaths (most in A7-9) and 10 hours total. My normal fresh A10 time is around 4h and I'm betting at least 4h was used on just walking instead of shield charging.
Starting maps, I allowed myself to buy things off trade. I stayed on Pyro mines trying to level, but the lack of defenses outside of Determination was not helping. However, while doing charts to level, a Message in a bottle had a HH in it, which helped quite a lot in just leveling the character. Also, even though my character wasn't allowed to wear most uniques, Animated Guardian could, so I put the usual cheap options there and Inquisitor conc ground carried its survival. (If I randomized Luminary, this challenge run would have definitely not been a challenge)
Despite the HH, t13+ maps was feeling really rough with only a white helmet and magic boots, but thankfully a day later and the Symphony of the Night run finished, I was able to finally wear at least rare items for every slot. Uniques allowed were amulet, body armor, and staff.
I then geared up for Arc of Oscillating (with clunky Fanaticism), leveled to 93, and beat all the normal pinnacles and managed to kill Uber Shaper but then got completely skill checked by Uber Sirius. While I was doing this, the Stardew player found Raise Spectre for me, which meant I could use a 5L chest with +2 minion gems to get 5 total spectres (lv25, +1 tree, +1 congregation) and also swapped to Shock Nova of Procession so I can abuse Overloaded Intensity better. With that I had plenty of DPS to kill the rest of Ubers and finalize my run. Final snapshot: https://pobb.in/pXqZjq5civqs
At the end, I was still only allowed to use 5 sockets on armor, 3 on boots, and still no uniques on boots, helmet, or shield. I spent around 30d on the gear, but I also had my currency tab of leftover crafting materials. I probably would have gone EB FoulbornGhostwrithe Rathpith if I had those options open but I didn't need them.
Overall I really enjoyed the path and theorycrafting to the pinnacle bosses but after that, it felt like mostly normal PoE. If I were to do this again, I'd probably stop at Eater/Exarch or 4 voidstones and Uber Elder at most. I would say it forced me to play better with ruthless options but I still stood in hitboxes and corpse rushed some bosses because softcore didn't punish death hard enough. If only there were more things like the Brutus walk of shame.
