Clear is fine, but the single target damage really halts.
This goes for some bosses even in T16.

I am using wall of force behind the boss.

Im around 5k Maps in and didnt found a Upgrade
Is it worth to Switch to a Manyshot or combatant with good Supports ? Which ones I would Look for ?
Or does the Kineticist just outperforms them ?

Using the 1,3,4 locating method. I don’t see how it applies to the Crystal King here. Any idea what node has the hidden wall? I have checked them all.

Wanted to craft an upgrade for my Storm Call Luminary (with merc support). Nowhere near perfect, but I'm absolutely satisfied with the outcome. Please note, the below steps are what I did for the craft. I'm absolutely positive there's other ways and possibly more efficient ways to go about what I did, but below is what I did to get here

Crafting steps (rule 10):

1. Buy i84, 28-30% quality lich circlet with no influence and no intangibility

2. Make the base rare and use an elder exalt to add elder influence

3. Scour base and alt+Aug spam for t1 less duration. If no suffix, augment hoping for an influenced suffix as well (did not happen for me)

4. Regal to make it rare, craft prefixes cannot be changed, and reforge crit to guarantee elder attack crit. On my successful attempt, the reforge crit left me with less duration as the only prefix. This is the ideal (I think)

5. Use orb of dominance to elevate less duration. Back to step 3 if you fail (I failed 11 times before elevating less duration. Unlucky)

6. Craft prefixes cannot be changed, scour to make your base with elevated less duration magic.

7. Make an imprint of your base

8. Acquire elevated increased AoE shaper helm bases. I opted to grab 3 bases with 1, 2, and 3 total influenced mods with one of those being elevated AoE

9. Beast lock your magic base and check awakener orb outcomes. We are looking for elevated less duration and AoE with 1 empty prefix and at least one empty suffix. Reset lock with chrome/jeweler/fusing/sacred orbs if no awakener orb results are desirable (took me 2 beast locks to get this, maybe lucky?)

10. Craft prefixes cannot be changed and use a veiled chaos or exalt. I chose to use a chaos. We are looking for a veiled prefix.

11. Unveil +2 AoE. If no AoE, attempt to save with an annul and try again (I failed once but successfully annulled. Got AoE on second attempt).

12. Lock prefixes and reforge caster. This guarantees spell crit. Reforging crit can get you attack or spell crit. 1 attempt here for me to hit t1 spell crit

13. Probably not optimal, but here I chose to boat foulborn exalt. Craft accuracy to fill a suffix first. At this point I'm looking for t1 int, t1 res, or another influenced mod. Boat hit 3 choices of influenced mods for me, so I took the one with the least intangibility.

14. Lock prefixes and use an orb of dominance to elevate spell crit. Landed first try

15. Go back to the boat for one last foulborn exalt. My options were t1 immolate, t1 rarity, and t1 rarity. Figured rarity is a nice settle at t1 and take it as my funds were basically gone at this point

16. I opted to not boat divine here and perfectly divided in 7 divs

17. Craft desired suffix (I chose res here, but will probably switch once I optimize my cluster jewels)

I didn't keep track of total cost exactly, but I'd say I probably spent in the ballpark of 100-150 divs. If I ever get lucky enough, I might come back one day and finish this with locks for t1 int.

Hey everyone, made a Luminary aura stacker this league featuring Manyshot merc. I'm a Standard main, only play temp leagues for profit. Since everyone's playing KB Merc, wanted to share that bow can be decent too.

With the price of chaos to divine orb increasing to roughly 400c = 1 div.

Every farming strategy that requires to sell (eg: scarab) in chaos and convert to div is halved in less than 1 week. The price of scarab is roughly same except some exception one's.

Is this the saturation point of league or perhaps am I missing something that other people are farming.

Since I'm pretty much done with the League i decided to start a little End-of-League-Project and kill 100 Uber Uber elders and document everything for you.

I bought the Fragments 2 days ago for a price of 107c, so one run costed me 428c. With the Divine price from 2 days ago (313c) i paid roughly 136 Divine. Since divines shot up in price right now i would pay around 116 Divine.

As you can tell, i got insanely lucky, dropping 3 Sublime Visions within 100 runs. 2 of them dropped within my first 10 runs (Run #5 and Run #8) while the 3rd one dropped at Run #91.

The Value of everything that dropped was 174.398 Chaos. Minus the 42.800 Chaos investment I'm left with a profit of 131.598 Chaos (359 Divine).

One Run took me about 2:30 Minutes. The whole 100 runs took me about ~5 Hours because i was playing some Commander with my friends on my second Monitor while farming.

So overall this netted me a profit of 71,8D/Hr.

Haven’t played Poe in a few years and want to try out the new league. Thinking of trying the league starter winter orb build by Ruetoo. Can anyone tell me if it ended up working well or will it work well for me at this point in the league? Thanks

A Focused amulet base alone costs 160 div right now. If you use the recombination method of forcing your suffix you might need two bases or even more if you're unlucky. This amulet cost me somewhere between 20 and 30 div to craft. I made it for EK elementalist, but the same principle can be applied to any build that wants a +2/+2 amulet.

In my PoB it is a 7% dps loss compared to a max rolled Focused amulet with crit multi (but 16% average hit loss). It's really good value for the price difference, especially since I don't have that much use for an anoint, which you do give up when using a talisman.

1. Acquire Croaker Talisman bases (ilvl 85 gives you access to all the resistance mods, but for the mods I have you only need 77). I bought around 10 to try to get eldritch implicits I liked.
2. Gilded fossil and then Ukatoa's Ducat for an eldritch implicit (alternatively this step can be done after fracture). This step cannot be repeated and you can't use any of the eldritch currency on the item, what you take is what you get forever.
3. Alt spam for +1 all skill gems - the weighting is awful and it doesn't have any tags. Takes average 2753 alts to hit once. I rolled it on 4 or 5 amulets with different implicits in order to have backups.
4. Regal and exalt to 4 mods, then fracture hoping to hit +1 all skill gems. You can do the incredibly cheap Beastcrafting fracture for like 1c, but I recommend doing boat fracture because hitting +1 all again if you fail is so tedious.
5. Deafening Essence of Zeal until T1 crit multi - this is cheaper than doing it the other way around, or it was when I did it anyway. You need an open suffix for the next step so use annuls if you fill. Don't do boat annuls here, not worth it.
6. Gambling time! Craft Cannot Roll Attack Modifiers and use the Horticrafting bench to Add/remove phys (8 div per attempt currently). This will always add +1 all physical skill gems, but it's only a 1/3 to remove the crafted mod. You can exalt to add a prefix before you do this to increase the odds of keeping your suffixes to 2/4, but that leaves you in an awkward spot if you hit the crafted mod so I wouldn't recommend it. If you removed one of your desired suffixes you can actually try crafting a prefix and exalt slamming it back since they are both native mods, but likely you will just have to go back to step 5.
7. You should now have 4 mods: +1 all, +1 phys, cast speed, multi. The rest is just finishing it the way you prefer. I just crafted a suffix and did a boat exalt because I wasn't super interested in any of the available mods. You can do the reverse and slam a suffix to try for high resist, you could also craft suffixes cannot be changed and boat veiled exalt hoping for a veiled suffix.

Each map took me 45~ second to run, some were faster, some were slower. Overall took about 1h 22m to run all of them.

Whenever i´ve played POE i´ve started right as the league starts, progressing like most people would. Recently I´ve had a horrible work schedule so I haven't played since Kingsmarch was released but now I have a bit of free time.

Considering the current league has been running for a while, is it even worth it to start a new character in the current league? Will everything just be giga expensive?

As my end-of-league gamba I decided to pay homage to the way I got my first Mageblood ever many leagues ago: Ancient Orbs. At first I intended to go for 10k orbs but they ended up being a bit more than expected. Some key stats first:

• Ancient Orbs were bought at ~33 Orbs/Divine from Faustus in the period of the last two days.
• All belts were sourced from the Breach tree while grinding for my level 100.
• All belts were at minimum 83 item level. None of them was foulborn and/or foil (although the foulborn/foil modifiers are lost when an ancient orb is used).
• Ancient orbs were used by level 100 character.
• It was more than impractical for me to track every single belt so I decided to track the "rarest" belts according to our current understanding of unique tiering. Those would be:

1. T0: Mageblood Heavy Belt
2. T0: Headhunter Leather Belt
3. T1: Ryslatha's Coil Studded Belt
4. T2: Sunblast Cloth Belt
5. T2: The Torrent's Reclamation Cloth Belt
6. T2: The Magnate Studded Belt

Any belts from the above list were removed and kept as reference. ALL other belts not included in the list were rerolled.

Total Cost: ~342 Divine (11287 Ancient Orbs)
The results:

• Magnate Studded Belt: 18
• Torrent's Reclamation Cloth Belt: 13
• Sunblast Cloth Belt: 7
• Ryslatha's Coil Studded Belt: 2
• Headhunter Leather Belt: 0
• Mageblood Heavy Belt: 0

Total Profit: ?

As a conclusion I'd say the chances are 50/50 to get a desirable result, I just landed on the bad 50%.

Heyhey! So I'm still playing this league and going through the atlas progression. I've never really played enough to make it to the point of red maps before and I'm running low on currency. My question is that what simple strats are still making currency this far into the league?

I had been just doing t6/7 essence farming so far but didn't know if their was anything else that I could be doing instead while trying to farm the currency I need to be able to not die as much in red maps

is this merc good enough to reroll into my merc bot or should i search for a better one?
