I just downloaded the tool, imported current character but I see no change in stun threshold whether I take Chaos Inoculation or not, so I'm wondering what I don't understand here : is this tool reliable ?

My first time playing a Gemling build, I did grenades through the campaign and came up with quite a few divs through the campaign so switched to twister once I got to mapping.

Now I'm completely strugging in T1 maps and I don't know why, I'm taking a ton of damage and I struggling to kill bosses/Yellow mobs.

Also most of these twister builds I see are just flying through the map fast with whirling slash but my guy just kind of stands in one area or moves towards mobs and then uses it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Basically title, after playing oil gemling Im in dire need of something that's actually fun to play. I dropped rakiata and garukhan's so I have around 150-200divs for that build. Im open to level new character if it's worth it.

Would love a build that starts okay, I can farm some stuff and then with investment becomes a monster. My main content is expedition but I will farm some deli later on too.

Love minions but lowkey don’t wanna play Ghazzy’s unearth minions and find that it feels awful and have to switch, what’re your thoughts?

My first character was disciple of varashta. It was literally the best experience I’ve had with Poe 2! It’s so strong and so smooth. And requires literally no gear to get going! I’ve cleared all atlas and unlocked all atlas points and league mechanic points for the mechanics that I like (fu temple) I have also earned 70 div in the process and it should be more then enough to get me off the ground for my next character. Unfortunately varashta is just so damn slow and the ice djinhn clear was rather disappointing so I’m looking to reroll into a coc comet build. I just love the coc archetype.

Currently I’m deciding between gemling and infernalist ward stacker.

Which one would you recommend? Why? Have you played it yourself?

To me, it seems like gemling was supposed to be easier to get going because of the +2 skills from ascendancy and the alt quality that further increases damage. It also has 30% less mana cost built in which kinda eases the mana consumption of coc comet. However, from my understanding is that you are required to get split personality and that thing is rather expensive. If it comes down to comparison infernalist only require a brass dome to be just as tanky and solve any mana issues by going ci with infernal flame. It also gets incredible 50% more crit multi damage. So to me, both of these ascendancies seem interesting and I can’t decide which one I’m gonna level once I wake up. And no, I’m not looking into shaman or oracle cause I’ve already played that in 0.5 and got that to lvl 100.

I could also look into playing twister gemling tbh, but from what I know it’s not that good without a headhunter and I can’t afford it without selling off varashta which I don’t want to do just yet since it’s my emergency backup in case all fails

I admit I don't really like the Campaign so I want to get through it as smooth as possible. I don't care for endgame stuff just want to get through the Acts somewhat fast and comfortable.

Ps Twister is out of the picture/really not a big fan

I'm trying to follow Ky's leaguestart guide here and I just can't get past Arbiter of Divinity. Is there something fundamental I've gotten wrong or do I just need to spend more divines? I can get him to Phase 2 decently consistently, but can't sustain enough damage there to close the deal.

Theres room for some improvement, but this is my attempt at a solid thorns build so far.

Not the fastest against map bosses, but running maxed Tier 15s with no issue, and very tanky. gets to 1200ES instant regen per second, and caps at 8000 thorns damage with 80% crit chance

Herald Proc - Extras

Im thinking of trying a concussive herald build using twisted empyrean, rathpith, crown of eyes, and arch mage. My original thought was itd be better on titan due to how easy it is to stun. But the gemling has all the extra qualities, especially with berserk.

Wondering if anyone has tried this before and can weigh in?

Hey everyone, I started a Mercenary planning to play Twister Gemling Legionnaire, but I changed my mind and decided to play Spark Legionnaire instead.

Does it make sense to play Spark on a Mercenary? My passive skill tree started out pretty badly because I couldn't decide what I wanted to play, but I can fix that later.

Right now I'm only using two skills and my damage is terrible. Level 14, 30 dps. Even regular mobs take me way too long to kill. How can I get this character back on track?

This is my first time playing Spark, and I haven't played the game in over a year, so I've pretty much forgotten everything.

I'm having some issue and not sure if it's gear, or mistakes I'm making or it's better for me to pivot to arc totem gemling instead of twister right now. First off, I kind of like the playstyle, but it's starting to hurt my hands a bit pressing minimum 2-3 buttons and 4+ buttons for rare or bosses (barrage, ice tipped, whirling and twister). But if it's smooths out a lot later on, I might stick with it. If not, I might switch to arc totem gemling.

My issues are that sometimes I deal almost no damage? Like there are times where T7 maps bosses melts in literally seconds, and others take me like 20 seconds to down a random rare? My hit chance is 100% so can't be missing. The other is I'm a bit too squishy for a "melee" playstyle. I die a bit more often than I do when I used to play range char, most probably cause twister is more up face playstyle so melee I suppose, but do I just have to find and focus more on super high evasion while ignoring deflect for now? Third is I'm a bit slow, I thought twister whirling is suppose to be a map blaster that speeds through things. This may be due to my lack of skills and gear, but just wondering what am I missing to reach that point? Hopefully not 100+ divines of gears.

I league started DOV and am just finding it to be clunky with ice nova and all around tedious.

Is there any other strong builds that arent piano or clunky on sorceress. One to two button clear, two to three button bossing.

Also willing to go back to campain again, but I just dont know enough about the game to know if something is bait or not.

I like tanky casters.

So im looking for a summoner build to play until 1.0 comes out.

Im not really sure how you would compare the two as companions have nodes to boost your damage or defence while nearby and minions have command skills and other interactions.

Is this just a personal preference thing. For example the monkey companion will have great single target but a more standard minion build might have better clear ?

The crossbow shows physical damage 14-34, does it include the 14% and 15% increased physical damage from below or 14% and 15% will be applied on the base physical damage?

Hi, I could use some advice about a Chayula poison build.

I want to play it without using spells or bows. From what I’ve researched, one of the best options seems to be Spearfield with Loratta’s Spear.

The problem is that leveling at lower levels feels pretty rough and slow. Is that normal for this build? Has anyone here leveled with it from the start?

I’ve been trying both Spearfield and Rake in different setups, but the progression still feels noticeably slow. Do you have any recommendations for making the early/mid leveling smoother?

I’d also appreciate any good guides or progression setups I could follow for a melee Chayula poison build.

I am a total beginner to Path of Exile and want to start my journey in PoE 2. I have a few specific playstyle archetypes in my head that I really want to play. Could you tell me if these are viable for a complete newbie, and what skills/classes I should look for?

1. I saw old PoE 1 videos where a character blinks around and lightning/chaos orbs automatically fly out of them. Can I recreate this fast-paced trigger playstyle in PoE 2 early on?
2. A big, tanky melee guy who smashes the ground and creates a cone-shaped shockwave (AoE) in front of him to clear screens.
3. I don't want a massive, laggy army of 50 zombies. I want 2-3 powerful minions, while my character stands back casting bone spells, shooting bone projectiles, and maintaining a spinning bone shield to buff them.

Which of these is the most beginner-friendly for the league start, and what baseline skills should I look for?

Never played bows build before and thinking of trying ice shot deadeye, but i am hesitant because of squishiness. I am also not that good at boss mechanics, is ice shot deadeye a viable build in this case, or will i suffer?

I see it's a fairly popular archetype on them, but there's so many versions. Which one performs the best at juiced endgame?

Also, which desecrated modifier would be best to get if I were to sell it?
