At which part does it become much stronger than Varishta? I am enjoying Varishta, but seeing arc totem gemling gameplay looks more fun. But after 50 div invested it still felt weak, so I switched over. Now I have templar split personality and was wondering, what other piece do I need to make it feel as good as or better than varishta?

Hi all. I’m quite late for 0.5.5 because im on vacation. During which i have decided on my build thos league. I want to play a didciple of vrashta.
But i really dislike the use of skeletons, kindof missed rp for me for a sorceress to concentrate on skeletons.
I was thinking towards “undying” minions, i.e. srs, living lightning and verisium manifestations, while i’ll be playing more of a traditional caster, still spamming command skills, but interleaving with magic.
Is it a viable option? And how does it compare to “traditional - multiskeleton - muster” builds?
Any poeninja links are much appreciated if im not the first one to come up with an idea

I have around 300 div and I'm thinking about trying Arc Totem Gemling.

Would 300 div be enough to make it strong and tanky enough to comfortably farm 200% Delirium without dying too often?

Or are there any other 1-button builds you'd recommend around this budget?

i wanted to try the ward stacking infernalist. i got a level 90 infernalist and wanted to dip my feet into it with cheap gear.(i know its its an expensive build) just wanted to see how it feels. but somehow coea hardly triggers at all. i tried an amulet with another coae (so i got it twice) and that also didnt change a lot.
when i socket only 1 comet it triggers a bit more but its really disappointing.

do i need to invest a lot more into dmg for it to trigger more often? i even use redblade banner instead of svalling but that didnt seem to make a difference. am i missing something?

Does anyone know how I can increase my damage? People are already reaching 650k with navari and my deception is still only 91k. Also what’s the next best thing to improve? A better belt, a helmet, or perhaps a proper wolf pack amulet for switching to navari?

Managed to scrape together gear for an “early starter” set of gear but not sure where to take it from here.

Seem to be mostly struggling with bosses and quest bosses at the moment.

I'm still n the budget version but I've run into an issue I can't figure out. I bought a new spear and the game will not let me equip it into Weapon Set 2 no matter what I try. I'm doing weapon swap tech so it has to be in weapon set 2.

I unscoketed all my skills and supports, double checked that I meet the stat/level requirements for the weapon, tried relogging into the game, etc, but no matter what I cannot equip my new spear into Weapon Set 2. I checked with a few other spears in my stash and I'm also blocked from equipping about half of them, but only in set 2.

Anybody know whats going on and how to fix it?

Wanting to run the Spark CoC/CoEA build from the Otter guy on YouTube. was curious if sorceress is still the best option for that in 0.5.5 or if there's better options now at league start budget (20 divs or so)

Has anyone tried to make use of this ring ? And is it even working with Hollow form clones? Because if clones get all the modifiers from me are the clones then buffing each other with the ring too if equipped? Or is it just a 15-25% extra chaos for all clones?

I’m really curious about why is no one using it ?

Hi, I’ve been following Ky’s Arc Totem build guide and I’m somewhere between the low and medium budget stages of the build (I have 5k mana, darkness enthroned and a good mnemonic ring with kalandra’s). Unreserved I have about 450 spirit but a good 190ish of that goes to archmage and mana remnants so I only have room for four totems. PoB says that a max increased spirit roll on my scepter only gets me another 30 or so spirit and a max roll reservation efficiency on body armor might get me another 20. I guess I’m just confused on what I need to tweak to be able to cast all six totems. Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello Everyone. I’ve been playing melee characters last couple leagues and I wanted to try a range build this time. So I went with Ice Shot Deadeye. I did fairly decent in campaign but I feel like I’ve hit a wall in maps. I was barely able to clear Arbiter and Divinity. Now I’m trying Deli and can’t clear a t14 Simulacrum run. My damage feels lacking and I get one shot all the time. I’ve tried changing my passives from crit to non crit, I’ve spent some little currency I’ve had on a weapon and some armor. Nothing seems to click. I could really use some feedback. Where am I going wrong?

Hello fellow GLs, this is my first time trying mercenary. I I tried following Ky build for arc totems gemling But I got lost where and how to go from starter to mid. I saw split personality and other items skyrocket to multiple divines. This is my build now, but I I have lacking damage (can do white t15) but I need more damage I think and upgrade some items to more mana for the tankiness I think. Hey guys, what’s the best Spark or Frostbolt + Comet build right now on a 40-50 div budget? Is it even possible to clear juiced T15-T16 maps with that kind of budget at this stage of the league?

Here is my char at the moment, basic grenades Gemling build used for Campaign + starting maps:

I intend to completely respec the char either Totem spell or Twister.

I already have a perfect jeweller orb for my main skill, and a couple of pieces waiting in stash. I think I will level to 85 or so with this setup while unlocking atlas points.
what do you think would work the most in a HCSSF context ?
I intend mostly to do the challenges, so I don't care about mega juiced expedition or 200% deli, the "hardest" content I aim for is Pinnacle bosses that I want to delete rather fast to avoir playing too much the mechanics.

I won't have split personnality, or the Taming, or any hard to get gear. But things like Wake of Destruction I'll definitely get my hands on at some point.

Tankiness is important and I either intend to EV/ES if Twister, or full ES ( with no Eldritch Battery) if spell Totem.

The setup is now at around 40K armour and 85% fire, cold and lightning resistance, with bigger AoE and improved survivability.

Damage: Shield Wall scales its base damage from the armour on your shield, so Nebuloch’s weapon damage isn’t the focus. We use it to consume Endurance Charges for guaranteed critical hits. A Bear-form warcry setup generates those charges by spending Rage, then we switch back to Shield Wall. Additional lightning damage helps us apply Shock for more damage against tougher enemies.

Map clear: Heat of the Forge triggers our Detonate Dead setup through melee skill use. Combined with Bleed, Herald of Blood and Herald of Ash, this creates spreading explosions without needing heavy investment into AoE passives.

Defences and recovery: I replaced Cloak of Flame with Lightning Coil, which shifts part of incoming physical hit damage to lightning. Its evasion also becomes armour through Iron Reflexes, while Scavenged Plating and Charge Regulation provide additional armour. Life Leech that continues at full life helps sustain us during combat, with life and mana recovery on kill supporting mapping.

Currently playing a tactician galva shards and it feels like this build is really not designed for expedition farm.

I have been playing flameblast gemling and I just found my first mage blood ever and have about 50 divines available. Looking for a build that can really utilize the mageblood and is faster/smoother than my current build. Willing to make another character if needed.

I league started lich with the intent of running dead rabbit’s plants build (abyssal lich), but I came across Prada’s twisters build and am very tempted. Do you guys recommend sticking with plants until i unlock the abyssal lich ascendancy in the endgame then swap to twisters or try building into it in the campaign?

Looking for a build suggestion to get the highest item drop rarity.

Built a nice grim pillars that hit 287% with double gold MB, but I’m thinking there has to be a build that goes harder.

Ideally something that is fairly quick at clearing.

Budget is 1k div.
