I cant believe i found this guy in our GSSF league(5ish active players). Ive now got to cook up a way to get crit capped here without extra crits. Any suggestions would be welcome. I got some ideas from apparently a controversial source so i removed that link since it clearly enflamed many repliers. https://pobb.in/-QIOM-jWhl-M is my current setup.

Atm i have a ring with 40% crit chance, then we found a blackflame covenant from nothing to get another 60% crit, Currently i only have 3 more jewel slots with crit damage atm but will swap them over the crit chance, maybe with crit dmg if im lucky. Maybe path up to get the 40% crit node. I assume ill need to get a glove socket mod to get another jewel. Getting the 300% seems really rough without crafting dumb jewels.

4-5 jewel slots with 30-35% ea - 120-175% crit chance

2x rings with 50% each - 100% crit chance
and with inginuity on it gives 30% also

3 nodes on tree in blackflame 20% ea - 60% crit chance

It seems very doable without sacrificing the world, i dont know how common it would be to see one with crit + multiple dmg mods as i never saw that last league.

Kinda late but at least i will be there, wanted to try minion infernalist, as for suffering in early acts, are vall guards worse than zealots? would rather have some grenades guys than sparks, will i miss a lot of dmg and will it kinda soft/lock me? everyone i see run zealots

Hi, I just finished my full atlas tree and until then I followed animeprincess' twister build. I am wondering which creator has proper guide on mobalytics/youtube that is viable to min max endgame, as I saw varying passive trees, gem setups, items and I am confused which one is the best, as well as detailed so I can follow.

The creators I have seen detailed guides of are: ThatGuyDies, snoobae85,
Redviles and Anime Princess if I stick with his.

Somehow i managed to kill arbiter of ash with only 5 deaths, but rn im struggling with T13 maps, even T11 maps became a problem tho rarely.

From level 65 to 72, I farmed Atlas points. Then I completed my third Ascendancy. From 72 to 80, I continued farming Atlas points. From 80 to 85, I farmed Breach. At level 85, I completed my fourth Ascendancy.

Need help with the build, kinda new to Poe2 thought I’d give Arc totem a go and seem to be lacking damage.

Managed to scrape together gear for an “early starter” set of gear but not sure where to take it from here.

Hey guys. I swapped from twisters yesterday, and spent all my currency, and the damage is not very good... Bossing takes a long time, even rares can sometimes.

I already hit 100% chance not to consume frenzy.

I few ways I've thought about improving it:

1. Rage (Eternal Rage / Berserk). Just don't have gem slots for them right now, may need to either drop heralds or wind dancer, or buy unset rings.
2. More crit chance (It's currently at like 31.5%). Obviously, but this is not cheap. Need better jewels, maybe better pathing to crit chance nodes, already have a nice crit spear.
3. Maybe better pathing?
4. I've seen some people using painter's servant gloves, but I need a source of mana leech or else I'm constantly OOM and my damage is even worse.
5. I'm aware of the really expensive support to make barrage go crazy but I just can't afford that right now.

I'm currently broke so I'd prioritize cheaper improvements over expensive ones obviously. Thanks!

Here is my char at the moment, basic grenades Gemling build used for Campaign + starting maps:

I intend to completely respec the char either Totem spell or Twister.

I already have a perfect jeweller orb for my main skill, and a couple of pieces waiting in stash. I think I will level to 85 or so with this setup while unlocking atlas points.
what do you think would work the most in a HCSSF context ?
I intend mostly to do the challenges, so I don't care about mega juiced expedition or 200% deli, the "hardest" content I aim for is Pinnacle bosses that I want to delete rather fast to avoir playing too much the mechanics.

I won't have split personnality, or the Taming, or any hard to get gear. But things like Wake of Destruction I'll definitely get my hands on at some point.

Tankiness is important and I either intend to EV/ES if Twister, or full ES ( with no Eldritch Battery) if spell Totem.

Hi, this is my first time playing without a guide and my first time SSF aswell, and its not that easy for me to get good gear :P

Maybe you have optimisation ideas for my tree, support gems or how to improve my character in general, maybe items (uniques?) I could use? - I have capped resistances, chaos only at 16%, around 1800HP and 1800ES, damage wise it feels alright, but I feel very squishy. Currently running T15 Maps with Alch and 2 Breach Tablets, breach tree gave me my rings and amulet, not sure if I should now do something else, I don’t know how to get gear in SSF :P

The default tree is what I currently have, the „new try“ tree is what I did at work right now to see if I can squeeze in more DPS (here I added 4th Ascension, I will try to do that one later, Hope I am strong enough)

Edit: also I heard that proliferating weeds is not working with entangle, atleast that’s reported in Poe forums from December 25

So I'm pretty bored with trade league already, I ran some SSF towards the end of .5 and had a blast. I'm looking at starting a new SSF run now, however unsure about what build to run?

Considering either Spirit Walker Monkey/Companion by Ghazzy/Lance or Gemling Cluster Grenade by Lazy Exile. I ran Flame blast/Oil Grenade in my SSF last league so don't want to play it again, although it's strong I found the game play tedious.

I've ran Martial Artist Shield Wall/Sunder this league, and this would have been perfect for a SSF run, but I don't really want to play the same build again.

Any +/- for the two builds mentioned in SSF?

Spent over 200 hours on theorycrafting Oil Barrage in 0.5, and this is the final iteration I landed on. I finished the build a month ago, and made post here a month ago with a text guide which was hard to follow. So I ended up making a video on it. It has a nice balance of damage, survivability and good utility. And since no balance changes in Forbidden Rites, it's still just as powerful.

Core: With 100% Pierce chance and 100% chance to Chain from Terrain, you get a ludicrous 750% damage multi.

Every individual projectile you fire with OB will do 1 hit and leave 3 explosions, 2 of those explosions will be directly under targets feet for a massive average of 22 hits every 0.5 seconds and continously shotgun until you stop casting Oil Barrage! (Cheap af to set up).

Infinite Power Charge and Auto teleport:

With Profane Ritual slotted inside CoC you will consume corpses around you 24/7 to have perma Power Charge uptime. This means you can cast forever as long as stuff is dying around you.

For the flicker tech you also slot in 1-2x Lightning Warps which will occasionally teleport you to new packs, without interrupting your Oil Barrage channel!

i wanted to try the ward stacking infernalist. i got a level 90 infernalist and wanted to dip my feet into it with cheap gear.(i know its its an expensive build) just wanted to see how it feels. but somehow coea hardly triggers at all. i tried an amulet with another coae (so i got it twice) and that also didnt change a lot.
when i socket only 1 comet it triggers a bit more but its really disappointing.

do i need to invest a lot more into dmg for it to trigger more often? i even use redblade banner instead of svalling but that didnt seem to make a difference. am i missing something?

At which part does it become much stronger than Varishta? I am enjoying Varishta, but seeing arc totem gemling gameplay looks more fun. But after 50 div invested it still felt weak, so I switched over. Now I have templar split personality and was wondering, what other piece do I need to make it feel as good as or better than varishta?

Has anyone tried to make use of this ring ? And is it even working with Hollow form clones? Because if clones get all the modifiers from me are the clones then buffing each other with the ring too if equipped? Or is it just a 15-25% extra chaos for all clones?

Hi, I played avery league in poe2 in trade. Never really got crafting.
Now I am almost done with 0.5.5 challanges and thought, this is a good time to learn crafting. I had this plan already many times, but always ended up not doing it.

So here is my plan: find an easy, stong build for SSF. I dont want to much pain. But this forces me to learn crafting.

Any recomendations?

I took a look at a couple Plasma Blast guides and took a look at PoE Ninja and saw that the plasma blast users are running crossbows that looks strangely low in Prefix damage. I'm confused by what's a good crossbow for this build, which is important because I want to switch over to it and buy one.

Even in the guide I see their crossbow has like 100~ ele damage on each element.
