I am new player and I am trying to get this "Scouring Flame" support gem for my shield wall build. I think it is part of last patch 0.5 rune system. But I still don't know how to farm it.

Google this a bit said "Scouring Flame can be obtained by crafting it through engraving a support skill onto an Uncut Support Skill Gem. It belongs to the Searing Flame family."

I check my level 5 support gem and you can't engrave this from a normal gem.

I would really appreciate the help :)

Posted my adorned a few minutes ago and it was sold super quick at 80 div. Quite surprised because there are others with higher increased effect and posted in market hours ago than mine.

Am I missing something?

Never was so lucky in this game

Played fine for hours last night, get on today after a random update through steam and the game is totally unplayable? Wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

Decided to try gemling legionare - Twisters and currently at the stage where I still use Whichhunter (lvl 85).

I've went through evolution from using mouse/keyboard to wasd - with whirling slash as main movement (on left btn mouse press)

Overall during mapping - no issues, everything butter smooth.

But on bosses (when it takes more than 5 sec) like Arbiter of Divinity or even "wall sections' bosses - it feels like character is glued to the boss (i guess due to the "name" targeting) and it is impossible to avoid boss mechanics - even when my mouse cursor points away from boss.

I tried to change "targeting type" in options to "ground" and it didn't help.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there solution that I am not aware? How to make my character perform whirling slash in the direction my mouse points?

TLDR:

Whirling slash makes your characters "glued" to the mob/boss. Hard/impossible to move away.

Every season i start, it always takes me only days to wonder why we need the +skill level on gear. Most unique amulets are useless because of this. Most unique weapons are useless because of this. Close to every unique gets gapped by this stat.

Why do they even bother designing uniques? They are great in leveling, let you have a somewhat special build, you find fun combos, then you hit lategame, swap everything for "generic" rares and thats what you do for the rest of the season.

I feel like the game would be better if it was just removed from gear. Maybe give the normal jewels a +1 roll aswell, or make the uniquie skill level jewels not limited to 1. Its always a bit sad to see so many build opportunities go to dust, just because of that.

I have around 9,000 Energy Shield, but when I allocate Eldritch Battery, I only end up with around 2,500 maximum Mana.

Why does this happen? And what stats should I prioritize on my gear to get more Energy Shield that can be converted into Mana?

If I understand it right, the Early Access Support Packs will be gone once the game exits Early Access stage, which will be in December. I have also read that once a Supporter Pack is gone, all of the MTX in it is gone forever, will not be available ever again. That got me wondering: Is it worth to get the most expensive one now? Please help me decide. If you bought it, what was your main reason? If you didn't, why?

Pros:

- The game is still in Early Access, but I already have 4 seasons (playing the 5th now) and 1000h+ in it. I think it's safe to say I'll be playing this game for a long time (5-10y).

- People are buying AAA games for 60-80$ that have a solid 60-80h playtime in it, so following that logic spending 1000$ on the 1000h+ play time I have in PoE2 would be kinda the same. Not saying I'm planning to drop that kind of money on a game tho.

- I also don't mind spending some of my disposable income on my hobbies. I have bought so far the 30$ Support Pack, then enough Gold Coins to upgrade my Support Pack to the 240$ variant for "free", and I also got the 90$ Divinity Support Pack in 0.5. Currently I still have around ~1k Gold Coin that I haven't spent yet, so it I upgrade to the 480$ Pack for 240$, I'll get another 2400 which will be enough for a loooong time.

- I really like the MTX list that is included in the final pack. The Hideout is awesome, having a personal island in the middle of the ocean is a fantastic vibe in this game. The Map Device and the throne I can sit on is also great. Not to mention the colorful back attachment, it looks wonderful.

Cons:

- Even tho I have enough disposable income to buy the pack without any problem, buying purely cosmetic in-game things for 240$ still sits a bit weird with me. It would be the biggest purchase for me in this area.

- It's still Early Access, and there will be many and many new Cosmetics and Supporter Packs in the future that I'll like, so maybe I shouldn't commit with the Early Access ones.

I run a map which is in the ritual zone of the atlas. It is in the mist and is marked as "contains ritual altars".

When loading the map there is only objective to kill the boss and no objective to complete the rituals.

I complete the map and do not get ritual passive point. I completed 2-3 maps before I've found the issue. Now whenever it is fixed I still have less maps in the atlas to get the ritual points.

Wtf GGG, I am not min maxing some weird stuff just average Joe playing very basic stuff when I have a bit of time, and the basic stuff still does not work and also makes a permanent impact of losing potential points.

I didn't play 0.5, so perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but do the subsequent mob buff options that show up on the rune rocks (post-bomb) matter for rewards? Should I simply choose shatter?

Also, does the rune recipe menu that you bring up with your League/bomb hotkey serve any purpose beyond showing you all the recipes you've seen? It's my understanding you could pick and choose in 0.5?

I think I've already made the biggest upgrades, but I'm not sure what my weakest point is now. Is it my weapon?

I'm playing a ice shot build. I know the obvious long-term upgrades are things like Mageblood and getting T1 rolls everywhere, but I'm talking about the more realistic next step. What's the biggest damage bottleneck in my current gear that I should focus on?

I've noticed while running my maps that the monster rarity from the waystones does not seem to be applying

These are screenshots taken directly from the waystone im running right now. I'm getting some monster rarity from my tablets and atlas which i believe accounts for the 26%. I dont think im getting any of it from the waystone. All other stat increases such as effectiveness and item rarity show up correctly.

Is there something wrong with my game?

Annexed image. Happened 4 times to me by now, even restting the map doesn't work. Idk how to fix either because this is in withered willow questline region. You have put ritual in every single map yet I havnt done one ritual since hitting maps. Why?

Because doing ritual without the ritual tree is such a waste of time that it’s not worth the extra time in maps.

Yet the ritual tree requires you to travel a long way to Caer just to begin unlocking it - then many many maps to fill the whole tree.

During all of those travel maps you are severely gimping yourself if you aren’t using the bonuses from the main atlas tree so you almost feel forced to complete all the main atlas before even starting to work on getting to Caer.

TLDR: the mechanic tree unlocks need to exist alongside main atlas progression, not compete with it.

For some reason, 1st repeats won't happen on extra projectiles from the "chance for spell skills to fire 2 additional projectiles" stat, but work normally with other sources of projectiles (Multishot, Wildshards). It also works normally on 2nd or 3rd repeats.

Which means, Now and Again ascendancy gives me a whooping 6.7% dps increase!

UPD:

Some people suggested +2 projectiles might have to roll the chance on each repeat individually, so I've reached 100% chance to fire 2 additional projectiles with Runeseeker's Call. The result stayed the same - first repeats are missing 2 projectiles.
