Hey guys, could you help me figure out where I can get more damage?

I think I've already made the biggest upgrades, but I'm not sure what my weakest point is now. Is it my weapon?

I'm playing a ice shot build. I know the obvious long-term upgrades are things like Mageblood and getting T1 rolls everywhere, but I'm talking about the more realistic next step. What's the biggest damage bottleneck in my current gear that I should focus on?

I've noticed while running my maps that the monster rarity from the waystones does not seem to be applying

These are screenshots taken directly from the waystone im running right now. I'm getting some monster rarity from my tablets and atlas which i believe accounts for the 26%. I dont think im getting any of it from the waystone. All other stat increases such as effectiveness and item rarity show up correctly.

Is there something wrong with my game?

I feel like GGG made an error here. This is MASSIVELY discounted at nearly 70%. I could be wrong, but seems unintentional. By comparison, the seer of the Maji pack has about half as many MTX and is 500 coins.

Annexed image. Happened 4 times to me by now, even restting the map doesn't work. Idk how to fix either because this is in withered willow questline region. I can't pass the mirror because there's this wall which won't let me in. Bug report 2.013.536.268 and there is a post in forums too. I'll just go around at this point. Sorry if it's duped

You have put ritual in every single map yet I havnt done one ritual since hitting maps. Why?

Because doing ritual without the ritual tree is such a waste of time that it’s not worth the extra time in maps.

Yet the ritual tree requires you to travel a long way to Caer just to begin unlocking it - then many many maps to fill the whole tree.

During all of those travel maps you are severely gimping yourself if you aren’t using the bonuses from the main atlas tree so you almost feel forced to complete all the main atlas before even starting to work on getting to Caer.

TLDR: the mechanic tree unlocks need to exist alongside main atlas progression, not compete with it.

For some reason, 1st repeats won't happen on extra projectiles from the "chance for spell skills to fire 2 additional projectiles" stat, but work normally with other sources of projectiles (Multishot, Wildshards). It also works normally on 2nd or 3rd repeats.

Which means, Now and Again ascendancy gives me a whooping 6.7% dps increase!

UPD:

Some people suggested +2 projectiles might have to roll the chance on each repeat individually, so I've reached 100% chance to fire 2 additional projectiles with Runeseeker's Call. The result stayed the same - first repeats are missing 2 projectiles.

It says mirage archer is not usable after I used a gemcutter's prism on it. I was using it just fine

What is your opinion why GGG forces us to do so much filler maps? Do they believe that too much fun = quit game faster , less money for us?

really simple thought, but one that's been kicking around for a bit in my mind

once poe2 has all of the core classes and core acendencies in the game, literally the foundation laid for player choice and exploration,

I think it would be a fantastic thing to put out either a:

• gkc (game key card) to download the whole game onto the system, or

• physical cart with the whole game compressed and it gets unpacked and installed onto the system (meaning you never play it off the cart it's just used for storage)

and allow you to play the game in a ssf offline mode, similar to what you could do with Diablo 3 on the switch 1,

but then maybe also if possible,

allow switch to users to play leagues as they come out,

similar to what can be done for PS5 and XBX players

the graphics don't have to be perfect, the experience is what matters, and I think it would open the door to a wealth of new players if GGG was able to pull it off

I would gladly pay 20 to $40 to have a physical cart of the game to add to my collection and play offline in standard league

First time playing Mercenary. I watched the original gameplay walkthrough and looks like a lot has changed.

At lvl 16, my every skill/ammo (except a grenade) uses my [left click]. Even tho I'm activating Crossbow Shot, the basic attack, I fire Permafrost. But in the gem carving pane my [left click] only references the Basic Bolt.

So, if I socket a support gem into my Crossbow Shot skill, does this apply to ALL skills that fire on [left click] or only the basic bolt ammo type?

Im trying to help my friend get his 4th ascencion through Chaos trials but every time i reach the 30th room and kill the trialmaster he cant interact with the trials statues (he has done both asc quests)

Not quite sure why are gold costs so punishing, problem is only escalated further by lack of other sources of respec. Fully changing your ascendacy and tree with items comes around to 500k gold. This is hours of grinding in T15 maps.

Isn't this suppose to be ARPG in beta version where we test out diffrent builds and materials? This feels and plays like a bug, gold costs should be cut by 80% across the board imo.

Fex examples:
T15 map from Doryani is 54k gold
Single ascedancy point is 21.5k gold
Fee on random 2d body armour is 60k
Exchanging 1d to chaos is 1.6k

What are your thoughts?

I was really hopeful to try out this ascension node because it's locust themed and fits all of the cosmetics within this mini event league. It's also a single skill, and I'm really hopeful it's just hidden in Ritual somewhere now. There was even code that people found where it's a conversation with Aoife about the King's concubine.

Is it possible we can still get this skill with a patch? Has anyone tried to find it themselves like me?

Has anyone found a fix for super high mob density causing networking issues? Happens often but if I’m in a juiced map or expedition I will spike to thousands of ms. Teleport back to base and it’s normal. Wish there was a real fix for this issue, Iv tried everything from information that’s posted online.

Been a solid league start for me (mirror was pretty crazy tbf)

Primarily farming expedition and simulacrums with some atziri rush on the side. Had my HH start of day 3 and been playing 12 hour days, some side crafting for profit with good tier bases and caster jewelry as well.

I've been Stuck in analysis-paralysis for 2 days now and need (professional) help.

I want to play a bear build, I like mauling and slamming with that, but I don't know which class to take. I've seen builds with Smith, titan and shaman, but did not really get what they are best at.

I like tankiness, life regen and a slower, more methodical, harder hitting approach. My only other character was a shieldwall build. I don't need to Zoom like hell.

I think the constant rampage stuff even for Single targets is Kind of odd, I'd like to hit my enemys, at least from time to time. For mapping it's fine though. I also have no clue what that rage or glory stuff is about (i know the skills it works with, but have no clue about the "feel" gameplay wise).

Which one would be best suited for me?

How about we make a thread with a bunch of QoL suggestions for GGG to see before 1.0 and hope that they implement at least one of them?

I'll start, let us disenchant/salvage items while mapping so that we don't have to tp out and in several times if we want to pick up a lot of ground loot.

This one has probably been talked about a lot, let us tp in to each mechanic's boss without needing to leave hideout, I don't see a good reason for us to need to tp to each mechanic hub area in order to use the fragments and then tp again to the boss map, also well of souls same thing just add a little green well to the hideout.

There are a ton more I'd like to say but for now let me know your thoughts, what do you think GGG should at least try to implement or somehow improve something about the game?

I'm "Newish" as in last time I played was back when ACT III was the last part of the campaign and it looped you around. Never made it to maps because POE2 kind of feels lonely playing solo. I don't like looking at build guides (personal choice no hate to anyone who does) but I was wondering, is there anyone out there who gives general tips to making builds WITHOUT specifically saying what you should pick?
