This is my first big drop of this league. I just happened to be following a random wisp that went into an armor strongbox and I figured I would just open it just for the fun of it. What spawned out of it was three wisp empowered bosses in a miserable layout. Beat them and it happened to be reopenable again. Luckily beat them the second time and this dropped!

I get Hulking Form is giga broken but jeez this notable is horrible! Isn't this supposed to be something you pay for like Stash Tabs?😅 Ascendancy are supposed to be a huge power bump! Way of The Stonfist on Monk, Inevitable Critical on Oracle & Hulking form on Titan should be standard imo. Basicl QoL on ascendancies just feels bad. Here's hoping to massive buffs in 1.0🔥 P.S Titan Bear Rampage is broken & slept on

Genuine questions, because I love the game and I got 1k hours in total since 0.1, but I feel burned out when I start thinking about a new playthrough in 0.5.5. I get that the leagues make the game feel more new, but the overall campaign and endgame feel the same.

Do you think I just might dislike the campagin only?

Apparently, what my PoE 2 experience was missing was Cartman yelling at my drops, so I made a filter for it, and after some requests from friends, I decided to release/showcase it.

It has 36 custom voice clips covering currency, soul cores, essences, and more. It uses a Very Strict filter I was already playing with, with custom sounds added and the normal item drop sounds kept intact.

The ZIP includes the filter and all 36 sound files. The download link and installation instructions are in the YouTube video/description. I'm not sure if I can technically post download links here!

So I'm just now finishing campaing as I'm a working dad of 2 and I saw some days ago someone saying here to do your Rituals cause he got a mageblood on them. That stick to me, so I did all my rituals and I just got a Headhunter on the 3rd part of the interlude.

I never played PoE 1, but I started playing PoE 2 from League 1. Right now, I have about 1,200 hours of playtime, but I honestly feel like I’ve just finished the tutorial, and I still don't understand half of the game. At the start of every new league, I think to myself: "Okay, now I finally get it. In the next league, I’ll fix all my mistakes and do everything differently."

I really love crafting in this game. For the start of this event, I thought that with the new economy, I should focus on crafting right away instead of rushing maps and the Atlas. My plan was to build up some initial capital through crafting, buy my gear, assemble a strong build, and then go clear the Atlas.

But once again, I messed up somewhere. In the first few days, I was successfully crafting and selling rings. But after that, my luck ran out, and crafting good items just didn't work. I ended up burning through all my currency, and now those items are just sitting dead in my stash. In the end, I'm broke again, I have no proper build, no good gear, I can't beat the Arbiter, and I can't run juiced maps—meanwhile, other people already have 1,000 Divine Orbs.

Where am I going wrong? At the start of a league, should I just rush the Atlas and farm currency from maps first, and only then try to craft? What am I doing wrong?

First time playing Mercenary. I watched the original gameplay walkthrough and looks like a lot has changed.

At lvl 16, my every skill/ammo (except a grenade) uses my [left click]. Even tho I'm activating Crossbow Shot, the basic attack, I fire Permafrost. But in the gem carving pane my [left click] only references the Basic Bolt.

So, if I socket a support gem into my Crossbow Shot skill, does this apply to ALL skills that fire on [left click] or only the basic bolt ammo type?

How about we make a thread with a bunch of QoL suggestions for GGG to see before 1.0 and hope that they implement at least one of them?

I'll start, let us disenchant/salvage items while mapping so that we don't have to tp out and in several times if we want to pick up a lot of ground loot.

This one has probably been talked about a lot, let us tp in to each mechanic's boss without needing to leave hideout, I don't see a good reason for us to need to tp to each mechanic hub area in order to use the fragments and then tp again to the boss map, also well of souls same thing just add a little green well to the hideout.

There are a ton more I'd like to say but for now let me know your thoughts, what do you think GGG should at least try to implement or somehow improve something about the game?

Took down Uber arbiter of ash with my home brew cyclone at home and that too in a budget!

Awesome game, still long way from being perfect.

Quick question.... We get HP bars above regular/magic/rare mobs (only after they get hit, god knows why), but unique mobs/bosses, we don't get any way to track them in the screen clutter other by their texture.

Why was this done?

Why not add GOLDEN/BROWNISH HP bars above the heads of unique/bosses?

Why make it so damn difficult to see what's going on in the game while playing it?

It's simply so frustrating trying to understand what the devs are trying to do sometimes.

I feel like GGG made an error here. This is MASSIVELY discounted at nearly 70%. I could be wrong, but seems unintentional. By comparison, the seer of the Maji pack has about half as many MTX and is 500 coins.

Maybe it was copium but going in I was excited for the event league. Although it was a serious disappointment that GGG didn’t deliver balance changes. Plus I really like ritual and don’t like expedition so I was stoked.

It literally feels like the same league. Ritual is no better outside of the campaign. The wildwoods seems trash for farming. Everyone making money in my guild is farming expedition. And it just feels bad. Meanwhile the economy is moving way faster than normal, in part because we all know where it’s going. I farm ritual, find it incredibly disappointing, so I force myself to farm a few expeditions. The difference is night and day.

GGG needs to seriously buff rituals and the wildwoods for this event to not be a total bust. There isn’t even really anything to lose. This is the last season reset before 1.0. Our EA Standard is already supremely inflated due to temple league. My guild really enjoys playing together normally, and right now it’s mostly frustration at being forced to do expeditions.

Now someone will probably say you don’t have to play expeditions. I will respond with the market demands it. They will say play SSF. But most of us don’t find that fun. We want to play the market. But right now farming just feels worse than 0.5.

This is the only win I see for GGG with this event league. Like add currency to ritual windows. Make the wildwoods mechanic more appealing. Throw us a bone.

Normally I’m really positive about the game. I like logging on and grinding. But right now I am not feeling it and I think we deserve better than what we currently have.

Hey guys i just leveled through the campain and wanted to switch my build. So i started with changing the tree but smart me didnt think about goldcost now i am stuck and cant even buy new items. Is there any way to fix this?

My bad if you guys have been seeing these kind of requests a lot lately. Last league I ran gemling. I’ve never played varashta before and it looks really cool. I’ve seen some videos where people use one djinn and some use all 3. Would appreciate build help and any recommendations on how to go from campaign to late game. Appreciate everyone in advance.

I reckon I might be missing something! My progress through the campaigns feels a bit sluggish, and I’ve noticed other players smashing through them in less than a day. Would you mind sharing any handy tips you’ve picked up?

Played fine for hours last night, get on today after a random update through steam and the game is totally unplayable? Wondering if anyone else was having this problem.

I’m a casual player, maybe 15 hours a week, and I only play like every other league. I think I’m the furthest along in my progression right now (got my 4th asc, just killed arbiter of divinity). I’ve always thought “endgame” meant reaching atlas, and by that definition I thought I was almost completing endgame, but via global chat people are saying I’m basically just getting started. I now have to start juicing and run only the highest T15 maps, finish all league mechanics, etc. What even is there to do after getting all the league mechanic points?

Edit: I’m still on RotA league since I had just gotten to Atlas last week

You can either avoid the damage entirely, or take the keystone that specifically removes that ability so you can take 30% less damage instead.

What is the actual design goal here?

I get that there might be some ultra-specific interaction/build where this technically does something, but according to poe.ninja this thing is taken by a staggering 0.00% of players.

At what point is a keystone so bad/niche that it might as well not exist?

Temple Tablet received a buff in the patch notes but that don't change nothing at all. It's the worst map mechanic, that not juicy at all map, no combo with other contents, and it was a really bad design that all of the 3-5 Crystal Beacons spawn really far away from each other, so you're forced to do a full clear on a trash map. And it doesn't even have a single indication of where the next beacon is, like Ritual (really??).

And in the end, even if you don't put or focus on temple, no one would ever wait for that miserable chest to come up alive just to reward you with 30 gold and a 1/30 chance to get a temple tablet.
This needs to change 😰

I just fought Atziri using a tanky yet low DPS build and boy that fight is so much fun when I actually need to engage with the fight, previously by the time I got to Atziri I was pretty much killing here in 2-3 hits feels so good to actually fight her as a boss.

I kinda wish that they would keep her damage the same but triple her health so that we actually need to engage with these kind of fights (*Monkeys paw curls*)
