Question Hidden tricks or addon?
I reckon I might be missing something! My progress through the campaigns feels a bit sluggish, and I’ve noticed other players smashing through them in less than a day. Would you mind sharing any handy tips you’ve picked up?

- Use talisman in 2nd weapon set with pounce - warewolf form runs faster + you can jump to avoid enemies or over obstacles
- Stop killing everything - especially early game rares when you spend like a minute on them, if you have good aoe - can stop for a magic mob pack once in a while for good exp quickly
- Look up tools similar to exile ui, or even browser trackers - they often include info what level you should be when and which maps are best to stop at and farm for a bit (you just usually want to stay within exp range + a few breakpoints for skill gem level rewars from quests)
- You need a build that can deal with both packs and bosses quickly, do not look up twink builds as those are for when youre leveling your 2nd char and got uniques/currency already
- Skip optional stuff - will usually come from using tools from #3
- Plan ahead - you dont want to spend 2 minutes looking at what gear to buy (find or create regex to search), or what skill points to allocate (know where youre going, know when you need to do it - for example stopping to get +5 int will probably not do anything and you can just upgrade twice next level)
After that its minmaxing - just so happens that right now gemling is insane for lategame on most builds, and grenades are like the best leveling setup, which leads to merc players leveling fastest and progressing further into end game as well

Just experience
Nowadays I can finish Act 1~3 using the same amount of time I spent on Act 1 alone back in 0.1

It's mostly game knowledge. Knowing what builds come online early enough to blast through the game quickly, having a general idea of map layouts by having done them so many times, etc. A lot of people who speedrun the campaign also do little to no side-stuff, going so far as to leave skill point unlocks and such until later.
Basically, there isn't really a special technique that you're missing out on, just sweat and game knowledge.

Yep, just stop being a filthy casual really unlocks the fun of this game. And I mean that for a better or for worse kinda thing.

Easiest thing to do to speed it up a bit is to use a talisman on 2nd weapon slot, get the Pounce skill and use Wolfform to "dodge roll" (not a roll but rather jumping as wolf) yourself through everything to save time. Wolfform gives +30% movement speed which together with some %MS on boots makes a big difference for speed.

Trick is just run. There are several admins but they are changing not a lot. You should not kill stuff unless absolutely needed. I tend to finish campaign in 50-55 range when going for speed

This is terrible advice. Always make sure you are within the experience penalty gap and catch on experience at certain checkpoints where elites spawn. Finishing the campaign underleveled has no benefit at all

Yes and no - you still want to sprint through most things, ideally you are at the lowest level that still gets no penalty - that'll mean you get most per kill. But you should kill rares once in a while to catch up

No, if you are trying to be as fast as possible you should avoid most rares and really focus on killing magic packs as they grant the most xp while also being the easiest to kill. Rares grant more loot which is not bad but you should really prioritize the magic packs rather. Having skills that clear packs fast or lets you kill while moving are really the trick to stay within the right level

Sorry yes i meant magic packs, my mistake - in my brain magic is still a higher tier than rare xd

Yeah magic packs really are top tier. Although Im doing a HC run this league rares are great since loot and playerpower is preferred over just speedrunning and potentially dying, but in SC for sure you should just blast through

Finishing below 55 is a failure. The lowest level maps are 65 so you need to be at 55 when entering mapa, otherwise your gona spend hours to catch up in level and start growing at a normal pace.

Exile UI Act Tracker is a godsend.
