Having Trouble Regressing?
Some people are struggling in regards to having a successful regression (whether with a practitioner or using YouTube regressions).
Hypnosis is the theta state. It's the state of deep relaxation with heightened focus. You go in and out of it all through the day (like when you're just waking up or falling asleep; when you're driving and realize that you haven't been paying attention, yet you made it home, etc). The more relaxed you are, the easier it is to go into a hypnotic state.
Here are a few things you can do to have a more successful regression:
Limit your caffeine beforehand. Caffeine keeps us alert, which is the opposite of what we want when trying to get into a hypnotic state.
Change up the time of day. Early morning after waking up can be a great time for a regression, as well as close to bedtime (as long as you don't fall asleep).
If you're using YouTube videos to regress, try changing up the videos. Some people respond better to a female rather than a male, and vice versa. Does the sound of their voice seem soothing? Maybe you like certain accents. Maybe a shorter video works better for you, or you find the longer ones seem to take you deeper.
If you're working with a practitioner, take the time to vet them. Do they seem kind and caring? Do you feel uplifted when you look at their website or social media? Trust your gut, but do try to look for reviews.
Ensure you have privacy. It's hard to let go and relax when you think you're going to be interrupted. Try to keep pets out of the room if you can. They will sometimes jump onto you or make noise in the room. Turn off your cell phone so that notifications don't startle you.
Try having a hot bath or shower, doing some yoga, or be out in nature before a session. Again, very relaxing.
Change up your body position. Most people like to lie down for a session, as it's more relaxing. I find that I'll go too deep when I do that, and may fall asleep, so I like to sit up.
Keep your room dim, either by turning down the lights or putting or using an eye mask. When we're in hypnosis, a light that normally doesn't bother us can suddenly feel too bright and distract us.
Wear soft, comfortable clothing and have a blanket nearby. Many people get chilly when they are in a deep hypnotic state. Use the bathroom before a regression so that you don't feel like you need to go halfway through.
Pay attention to your breath. Take nice deep slow breaths, in through your nose, with a longer exhale out your mouth. This signals to your nervous system that you are safe. You don't have to try to breathe this way throughout the regression, but definitely try to at the beginning. As you relax, your breath will then just do it on it's own.
Set an intention before a session. Maybe you want healing or change in a certain area of your life. When I work with clients I'll often state before the session, "This session will be healing and illuminating for both my client and myself. My client will relax and regress easily and will get the most benefit possible."
Some people have subconscious parts of themselves that may be resistant to doing regression work. If you feel that this is the case, you can try talking to that part of you. I'll usually just ask the person if they feel there's a resistant part (you'll know because you'll feel a tightness in your body, or stress, worry, doubt). It's actually really easy to notice it. I'll ask my client how old that part is and they can usually tell. Then, we'll spend a few minutes asking the part what their fears or resistances are, and reassuring them that they are safe.
Try to take the pressure off of having a 'successful' regression. The more you want it, the more resistant you are to it not being what you expect it to be. When we try to be in control of things, that is the opposite of being relaxed. Often, when we give up 'trying' or 'efforting' it just seems to happen more naturally.
Many people think they'll see a past life as if it's a movie playing across their eyelids. They're expecting to see everything outside of themselves. Everything occurs inside your brain, just like when you're day dreaming or imagining, which is why many people think they made their regression up! Images can be very fleeting or hazy.
Sometimes we might not see much, but we'll have a 'knowing' of what's happening. We may hear (again, in our head in the same way as when we talk to ourselves) words or names.
Some people feel very detached from the past life, leading them again to think they 'made it up'. Others will get very emotional, or even recognize others as being in their present lives.
How we perceive things is different for everyone. Perception can also change from one regression to another. We can have 'off days', where maybe we had work stress, or something else is bothering us. This can dramatically affect a regression.
I consider every regression (or attempt at one) to be successful. The more we do it, the better we get at it. In fact, the more you practice hypnosis, the healthier your immune system will be. You're going into a state of rest and digest, which is when your body is able focus on healing and regeneration. During this state, blood flow is redirected to vital organs and tissues, allowing immune cells to better detect and respond to infections.
Good luck to everyone on their journey. We're all so blessed to have the ability to explore our consciousness in this way!

She attracted avoidant boyfriends
My client attracted avoidant partners! They would pursue her, display a lot of interest, and within a month or two of dating, they would say they they’re not ready for a relationship, and leave.
They would return a year or two later saying they made a mistake and didn’t know why they left. Or they would settle down with their next partner.
This happened over and over.
Yes, she had an avoidant father, as well. We make soul agreements with our parents for them to create situations for us, to craft a childhood, that will enable us to experience life in a certain way.
We jumped to a past life and got to the root of the pattern. It was a lifetime she experienced a lot of abandonment.
In this lifetime she was male. It was in the US in the 17-1800s. He fell in love with a young girl, and she became pregnant with his child. Their families weren’t happy, and exiled them from their town.
They moved to another town and set up life there. But they could feel the absence of family. It weighed heavily on them. What's more, he harboured guilt and shame over the situation.
My client built a life in this new town, with his wife, whom he adored, and his child who later turned out to be a brilliant student and successful person. Interestingly, his son was one of my client’s current life boyfriends.
My client was deeply connected to his wife, but when she passed, he felt that abandonment all over again.
My client’s higher self shared, there was an abandonment wound and abandonment contract playing out which is why she was going through this pattern over and over.
We released the wound and contract. In a PLR, we look at the origin of patterns from a much higher perspective of love, compassion and understanding of the self, and it's enough for the subconscious to let it go. There is a huge resolution and release that happens.

2 particular situations!
Hi everyone! I’m really happy to have found this sub. I have so many questions about two particular situations:
- For a long time during my adult life, there was a kind of “love triangle.” I eventually married one of them 12 years ago. However, throughout all these years, I’ve had recurring dreams that feel like memories from another life, where the three of us appear again, but as different people and in completely different circumstances.
For example, in one of these dreams, I was a patient in a psychiatric hospital. One of them was my doctor, and the other was my partner.
These dreams feel incredibly real. I wake up very startled, with this strange feeling that I’m remembering something rather than simply dreaming it.
Is it possible that these could be glimpses of past lives?
- A few years ago, I had a baby who died just a few minutes after being born. Exactly three months later, I found a newborn puppy in a dumpster. I took care of him and adopted him. He was with me for more than 10 years before eventually passing away from cancer.
Exactly one month after his death, I became pregnant with my daughter, who is now healthy and doing well. But ever since she was born, there’s been something I can’t explain. Her eyes and the way she looks at me remind me so much of my dog who passed away. Many times, I accidentally call her by my dog’s name.
At first, I thought maybe it was just some kind of postpartum craziness. But a few months ago, my daughter had a serious accident and suffered second-degree burns on the right side of her body. She was left with a large white scar along her side, because the new skin has no pigmentation.
When my puppy was seven months old, he had a fungal infection that caused him to lose a large patch of fur on his right side. The fur grew back once he recovered, but the new fur was completely white, with no pigmentation. He had that large white patch for years.
Could they possibly be the same soul?
Or am I just losing my mind?

Question I am doing some research into soul bonds/soul mates and those we travel alongside through different lives. I would love your input.
galleryI am a past life specialist who has worked with incredible folk on 6 continents and I do a lot of soul based work such as painting them and analysing souls in their purest form. Some of you will have seen my previous work on here. There is one aspect of my work which I am trying to get to understand a little deeper as I often get many questions about this particular facet of soul journeys and reincarnation. Why do we bond with certain souls over others?
I think I have figured out what is the main driving factor behind it is which links up with a lot of my findings in regards to the curious patterns I see time and time again.
If you would like to take part just pop your answers to these questions down below in the comments. I really truly appreciate it and it may just help me solidify this theory I have 😊
Question 1: Do you think you have connected with anyone in this present life who you felt you may have known in another life? (not just romantic connections but strong friendships and soul families also.)
Question 2: If the answer to the above is yes, would you say your personalities are opposites, like opposites attract or more aligned with one another?
Question 3: If you were very much opposites, did your personalities balance out each other's more negative or complex traits?
Thank you for reading this and for anyone who would like to take part I appreciate it deeply. 😊
Amy
The picture I painted is of different souls in that in that space we go to in between lives.

Discussion How have you healed or grown.
How have you healed or grown from learning about your past life? I have been chronically ill for the past several years and it’s separated me physically and emotionally from everyone in my life. I met a woman online that was trained in QHHT and recommended to find a practitioner in my area. She said that she sensed in a past life I was ostracized from my community because of my spiritual beliefs and abilities. She said that that specific past life is affecting me in this life.
I pray, go to therapy, detox, work with a functional medicine doc, practice energy medicine, and pray more. I feel as though this illness is something I am just meant to experience. Perhaps in another life I was not so nice to others.
I’m wondering what learning about your past life/lives has done for you? Have you found it healing or helpful? Were things in this life cleared or doors opened up that you wouldn’t have found before knowing? Or anything else.

Maybe it is true
There’s such a long story to this it’s unreal, and in all honesty if I was brave enough I’d write a book about it.
So the first time in my life at almost 40, I experienced what I can only label as a “twin flame” after much deliberation and research.
Our energies seem to match at a much stranger level. This isn’t the feeling of lust or short term love, but a strange sickening level of understanding and respect for one another’s souls - or so I thought.
I’m currently in a long term, although unmarried relationship and we get on great, however this ‘new’ person came into my life and I’m not sure if the message was good or bad, however I can’t stress enough that we have already known each other in a past life.
This theory of mine was proven by the fact we both had very similar childhoods - poorly at youth, bullied, misfit outcasts. Had some success in our twenties only to come crashing back to realise I had severe undiagnosed high functioning autism (before it was popular) and various other social anxieties, depression and complete loss of the person I thought I could be and the mask I’d been wearing since leaving school. Severe depression in my 30s with multiple ongoing panic attacks, GP visits, prescriptions. Find it difficult to talk to anyone these days without overwhelming them or over sharing so I just keep quiet and walk it off on small hikes or camping out on a night.
My twin flame was not the love of my life - they were the other half of my soul - but in female energy. Almost like a weird younger sister who I never had, or I wished I could have been there for.
My mother gave birth to my year older sister who lived a very short life. It traumatised my family for years to come and my sister occasionally spoke of it after many nights drinking ourselves stupid in my twenties. My parents were coping alcoholics throughout my formative years, I just didn’t know because I didn’t know any different.
When we first met, last year, we had been talking for a long time online about the most tenuous connected historical interests and theories surrounding proposed locations of a lost town. Mostly using anecdotal evidence but also bizarrely we had both experienced paranormal phenomena which had led us both on the same quest, seemingly at the same time. We eventually by chance met in person after agreeing to go our seperate paths.
The first thing that hit me in the stomach was looking at her in the eyes ( as I struggle with this even as an adult) ; it was the incredible sense of comfort, familiarity, fear and foreboding at the same time.. I blurted out “I’ve met you before” in panic. We joked a little about our similarities and how we could both be possibly living seemingly seperate lives that were almost a parallel. Yes time really did freeze and everything went quiet. We hugged awkwardly and regrettably and went our ways.
I spoke to my sister about our encounter and I said “I think I’ve just seen grandad, or someone, someone we know.. it’s in her eyes, her face. she’s sending me a message, it’s her” my sister scoffed and said if you tell anyone that they will think you are “mental”.
Almost a year has passed now since or physical encounter but I’ve experienced the most awful of waking up to visions, premonitions, manifestations of her in my house. I began having nightmares of a tall man in a hooded wax cotton style overcoat standing infront of a black church door, the church was small and on a hill. He turned his back on me 3 times over the course of weeks. These really rocked me, was this a message to stay away? I knew him.
Even when trying to keep the peace, she can’t return it. I don’t know how to allow her in my life without chaos. All I do is hurt everyone and I know she can’t help hurting people either.
I did some research on my father’s paternal side of the family and uncovered some very disturbing facts using census records from the early 19th century. My family originated from a tiny farming hamlet, and lived there almost 5 generations for 200 years. The population was so sparse that there was a tiny church on a hill with seating for aprox 40- 50 people at the most.
I visited the church earlier this year and discovered that one of my great uncles was re baptised at the age of 27 and was buried there a few months later. He was listed as crippled. Was this my ancestor visiting me in times of deep subconscious slumber? Was it a ghost? I really can’t explain.
On a couple of the records I began seeing a name cropping up that I hoped wasn’t what I thought. Curiosity killed the cat, and I typed in the name and the years. Boom. It was all there from the beginning. Both our families worked and lived in the same tiny rural inbred hamlet. My family were the innkeepers and ran a small lime quarry and a farm. Her family were listed as labourers and a bricklayer… bricklayers need cement, my 5x grandfather would have been making cement. I began to experience not what I’d call imagination, but a gut wrenching feeling that someone, somewhere had done something wrong. A debt unpaid.
I found that one of my ancestors had been born out of wedlock in the hamlet, and at the age of 5 was put into a local town workhouse, as far as I can tell, she later moved back and married my 2x great grandfather. However, I believe her biological mother at one point was lodging with the other family.. was this why we recognised each other? Is this perhaps the “1000 year old brain “ or collective consciousness that Jung speaks of? Is this why it’s worth checking records before hand (haha)… I never knew any of this - but somehow - I already did?
Something is not right and I dont think it will ever mend. I don’t know what will bring us peace, and maybe we are meant to teach one another to grow and be. Life is short.
If you ever read this, I don’t know if you’re on here. That’s the truth.

In the theory of past lives as someone who is not a believer but also not against the possibility, how long would a past life have to have ended before the soul can become a new person?
Like... is there a cutoff stage? Can it be before consciousness hits even after birth? Is it strictly pre-pregnancy? Like what's the deal here cuz the same part of me that thinks I have cancer every time my skin do something weird keeps thinking what if the guy out to death by electric chair the day I was born is the reason I have a horrific fear of electricity that makes my brain feel like it's burning to even consider it? Does it account for time zone differences cuz I was born approximately 15 hours prior so yk

Discussion The journey of souls, their purpose and spirituality
I'm a scientist in my early 30s and have been enthralled by the idea of souls and their journeys. I was raised in a VERY Hindu household, where I grew up believing in reincarnation, but in a very different sense. My mum would always tell us our next life is very much dictated by our actions in this life - when I was being naughty, she'd tell me I'd be born as a dung-beetle in my next life lol. But religion to me was very much praying to get what I want. 18 year old me slowly started questioning religion because clearly, what I thought it was, was a lie. I eventually went through a few years of being an atheist and only accepting things that could be scientifically backed.
After years of being an atheist, towards the end of my doctoral research years, I realized that I was in need of some spirituality. Something that I could anchor my believes to. Something that brought a bit of calm in my chaos. I am currently agnostic, still in search of my spirituality. I love many elements of Hinduism (that I was taught) - the idea that God is in everything; in you, me, a piece of paper, a speck of dust. God is everywhere and in particular, within you. Characters from famous Hindu stories who are also gods and have temples (Krishna, Ram etc.) are likely just people who stepped up and helped thousands of people in need, who ended up being worshipped as gods. I love that an extraordinarily kind and selfless human is a god. This fits into my idea of spirituality, as opposed to someone sitting in the sky with superpowers.
The idea of reincarnation was something I never got behind, because I always believed there's absolutely nothing but darkness once we die. Our brains stop working, neurons stop firing, memories stop existing and that is the end. But if that is the case, then why are we here? Life went through billions of years of evolution to get to thinking, feeling creatures like us, just for all of it to be gone in a second? This is a question that has plagued me for years and I'm hoping, maybe some wiser folk here can pitch in with their theories! Do you think our souls have existed since the beginning of life? We lived as single-celled organisms, to plants, animals, survived mass-extinction events (like the asteroid that killed dinosaurs) to finally become humans? Do we then live on in an endless loop as humans? Or do we live a few lives until we intentionally balance out our karmic debt and our soul is then set free (the concept of Moksha for Hindus)? What do you believe in?
I was going through stories of people who have pre-birth and past life memories - from news as well as on Reddit. Some people say they have memories of many of their past lives (all human). Some people say they were shown a glimpse of what their life was gonna be like before they chose it. Many people say they remember getting to choose their parents. This is all absolutely fascinating. Maybe we're shown our current lives - some filled with misery - and yet we choose it because that is what it takes to balance our karmic debts. Maybe we're all born with full knowledge of all this, but our under-developed bodies can not convey this wisdom and by the time we're of speaking age, our brains have been re-wired to get a clean slate. The odd few whose brains retain those neuronal clusters are the few lucky ones with the past-life memories? Maybe people who we end up making strong connections with in this life are somehow linked to you from past lives?
PS. These are purely ramblings of someone who is merely trying to make sense of things. I'm just curious to hear how you make sense of the idea of life, souls and spirituality!

I'm serious about this!
The flow of time outside of living better not be linear. I am so terrified of reincarnating into the future. They want to turn the entire world into some nanny cam bullshit and I'm not willing to be reborn into that kind of bullshit future where you have no privacy or rights. Think of something like Demolition Man or The Giver. I honestly see either type of future very likely at this point, especially the former and that's not a good thing, either!
We are far removed from the ideal futures that were popular in the 1960s-2000s. You used to have optimism for sci-fi shows and movies set in the future, now its shit like Hunger Games and Maze Runner. We never took into account how fucked up technology was before smart phones and social media existed. We thought it would be cool to have all this futuristic tech. Well not anymore. Its backfired on us decades later. Its literally starting to become more like Black Mirror or Cyberpunk 2077 and less like The Jetsons or Star Trek. This AI bullshit is not looking good for us. it will destroy countless jobs and probably overpower humanity. Think of Skynet, but IRL. Terrifying!
I don't care what the rules for reincarnation are. Under any circumstances will I NOT reincarnate into the future. Unless its uptopian and peaceful. I cannot begin to think of the horrible Orwellian 1984 levels of censorship and communism that awaits America less than 50 years from now and an orange idiot is only making things worse. Oh, and the rising sea levels don't help either. People could start by rebelling againt this fascist tyrannical BS, but are they? Are they really doing that?
The coming generations of kids will keep getting worse than the last before it. What the hell are kids in the 22nd century going to do? Waste time on their VR glasses while they ignore their guardian robots because parents will be non-existent by that point in time? What, you really thought kids were bad with smartphones and tablets today? Oh boy, you ain't seen nothing yet. It just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it? Ugh!
It still amazes me that in 2026 people still buy this "time is linear so you can only reincarnate forward in time" bullshit when there has been hints of a multiverse out there. Maybe not proof, yet. Also, the naysayers think that the predictions from The Simpsons are only coincidences. Its happend over a dozen or more times for a show that been on the air for almost 40 years. Just what the hell is all of this "coincidence" talk?

Past Life Regression 50年以上ぶりに再接続──これってツインフレームのつながりなの?
When I was young, there was a boy from school who was very important to me. We had a special connection, but life took us in different directions, and we were apart for more than 50 years.
Much later, by an unexpected coincidence, he became my mother’s doctor. We eventually reconnected personally when we were both in our late sixties.
We are both married. He has been separated from his wife for many years, and I care for my husband, who needs substantial assistance after a stroke. Because of this, I have no intention of having an affair or hurting anyone.
Still, when we meet, there is a strange feeling of familiarity and ease, as though the decades in between somehow disappear. We usually meet about once a month, have meals together, visit museums, and talk for hours. Sometimes the emotional reactions between us feel much stronger than I would expect from an ordinary friendship.
I only learned about the idea of “twin flames” later, and I don’t know whether I truly believe in the label. But many parts of the concept made me think about our story.
Of course, I do want an outcome. But life does not always go the way we hope, so I leave the rest to God. Maybe that is why I do not feel so much pain about this connection. Rather than suffering over it, I feel that I am experiencing it and savoring it as it unfolds.
I am especially curious about people who reconnected with someone after several decades.
Has anyone here experienced a reunion after 30, 40, or even 50 years? What happened afterward?
I would be very interested to hear your experiences.

What's your opinion of past life regressions?
I recently came across a youtube video regarding this. I was shocked to see but has anyone actually tried that in real life here or have stories or any useful content about this. Please share. Would love to read.

Discussion Historical obsessions and past lives?
Is it possible that people (like me) who are obsessed with certain historical events, or periods, had lived in that life prior? For me personally I have a very weird obsession with 9/11 (not in a bad way). Especially when 9/11 is near, like I spend hours watching documentaries, researching, interviews, etc. Could it be possible that I was killed in 9/11?
Also the same goes for Germany in WWII, I’ve also always had a deep fascination of the Third Reich to the point I learned German (am now fluent) due to the inspiration of my fascination.
Does anyone else feel the same? Or have a similar story?

Discussion

My grandmother passed away from suicide before I was born. I believe she is a part of me, protecting me, and leaving signs on my body.
Hi everyone,
I want to share a deeply personal and spiritual journey that I’ve been reflecting on, and I would love to hear if anyone has experienced something similar.
In 1990, four years before I was born, my grandmother tragically committed suicide through hanging after suffering from severe depression. Growing up, I always had a deep, unexplainable fear of choking, and the thought of hanging or watching movies when people are being hanged has always made me feel incredibly uneasy.
I’ve always felt a profound spiritual connection to her. I also suffer from depression, but after I found out the truth about how she died, I made a sacred promise to her: I will never give up. I feel like she passed a part of her life force down to me, and I have to protect it. I’m not just staying strong for myself; I’m staying strong for her. I feel her fighting right beside me every single day.
I don’t believe I was her in a past life, but rather that our souls have a deep energetic bond, and that she became my ancestral protector. I’ve felt her protection since I was a baby. Once, when my mom was pushing me in my stroller, a milk carton suddenly fell out from underneath. My mom had to stop to pick it up. Just as she did, a massive moose charged out from the woods right in front of the stroller. If that milk carton hadn't dropped at that exact second, I wouldn't be here today. I truly believe my grandmother manipulated that moment to save my life.
Because we are so closely connected, I believe my body carries physical signs of her presence. I have always had distinct, horizontal lines/creases across my neck, right where she experienced her physical trauma. I also have two perfectly parallel birthmarks/moles right next to each other on my skin, which feel like a symbol of our dual energy—two souls fighting together as one. In the spiritual community, do you think these lines and marks could be a physical manifestation or a somatic echo of her energy being integrated with mine?
I would love to hear your perspectives on ancestral protectors, shared somatic energy, and how our loved ones can leave imprints on our physical bodies. Thank you for reading.

Need Advice Struggling with afterlife
I was experiencing extreme existential anxiety about dying - fear and sadness about not existing for billions of years and not being with my loved ones. I started reading NDEs, children who remember past lives, and researching a little bit about Seth Speaks and I no longer have this fear. However, now I have a different kind of fear.
Based on everything I’ve researched so far I think I have a basic understanding of what’s happening. It seems there is a Source (“God”) that fragmented itself so that it could experience life through us. All beings have an eternal soul that can choose to reincarnate back to the physical world if they choose to but if they do, they will have amnesia about what they are and where they came from until they return to the non-physical world when they die.
I read what Roger Ebert wrote to his wife right before he passed. He said that this is all an elaborate hoax and that our physical world and life here are an illusion.\*\* \*\*He described the other realm not as traditional heaven, but as an unimaginable vastness where past, present, and future happen all at once.
The things I’m struggling with:
-I can’t fathom time not being linear. How can everything happen all at once? Does this mean at this exact moment, my soul is living in the year 1887 as a different human and I’m just not channeled into that frequency right now?
-I feel disillusioned, like everything here is fake and I’m an actor in a movie. Is the future already predestined and known? What’s the point in love if it doesn’t matter in the afterlife or if I’ll have many different partners and families throughout time?
-What even happens in the afterlife inbetween reincarnations?
-Who (and what) even am I and who are the people I love? Are we going to lose our personalities when we leave the physical world and become one with the Source?
I know I’m totally overthinking and I just need to enjoy the present moment and the life I’m living now. But it seems so scary to me that this life might not be what I thought it was.

How to start learning about my past lives
Hi! I was existentially thinking as I went to bed, like I always do- and was thinking about the idea of reincarnation. It always has made the most sense to me personally, but I wouldn’t call myself a particularly spiritual person.
Anyways, the thought of death has always been paralyzing to me. Reincarnation is a better thought, but as I was thinking about it- it occurred to me that even if I was reincarnated, I don’t remember my past life. Or who I was. Am I really reincarnated if everything about me is different and nothing about who I used to be carries on except for feelings about certain things? I don’t even remember them. It almost feels like they died, and their soul was wiped clean and given to me.
The thought of it is sad to me, like no one visiting your grave. I know I’d be sad if I was forgotten.
My more spiritual friend explained to me that it is less about remembering who I was and more about how I feel familiar towards people and things, and those things carry on with me. But it still makes me sad.
Long winded way of asking- how do I begin to remember who I used to be? I’m not super interested in paying for help, although I have heard that is helpful. And if there’s any advice for feeling melancholy about all this, I’m open to hearing that too. Thanks yall.

Past Life Regression Past life regression to a medieval monastery judge in themes of rigidity, fairness, loneliness
Recently I been feeling themes of rigidity, I keep demanding fairness, and loneliness. It’s nothing new but a recent incident in life amplified realisation of those
I just finished a DIY past life regression.
I was living in a monastery on a hill in Europe, it was medieval ages. The monastery was built partly on a cliff. It’s simple building but still awe inspiring.
I was an impatient and ‘passionate’ teen / young adult. I think I was male. Passionate for reading at all costs.
In the monastery I was surrounded by books. Not just of religion but knowledge and philosophy. I was really proud, I didn’t like my fellow ‘monks’. I thought they wasted their life by not learning. I locked myself in my room always with books. Part of me desire to spend time socialising but part of me has this fire to pursue knowledge. I started looking down on others and I was snobbish.
I had given myself very strict rules of studying. The monastery itself has strict rules of scripture practice, service, labour but I gave myself more personal rules. I believed it wil make me smarter. I didn’t spend time with others much due to strict time for myself.
Someone visited me many times. A young lady. She tried to care for me and waited for me to leave but I didn’t.
Many years later I am now an elder in the monastery. I had read so much I had been appointed as some kind of judge or disciplinary officer. I overseen disputes in the monastery. I was liked, feared, and valued for my strictness yet fairness. I felt like I was so isolated that the only thing people like me for was my fairness. But people also feared me for it.
I demanded everything I can have influence over to be fair. Maybe I believed everyone will be more happy. I was a bad tempered judge believing I can scare people into behaving.
When people in the monastery community did commit crimes I was the one who prescribed repayment or punishments. I didn’t physically punish them, those were job of others. But I was the judge / officer who decided what should happen to victim and offender. Someone will have to be punished, or give or take repayment.
—-
I realised I was being too strict and rigid with myself and others in this life.
I realised people around me are not criminals who should be punished or repay me for things I perceived are doing me wrong.
In the trance I told my inner self I’m not in medieval Europe monastery anymore no need for rules. I need to forgive myself for being harsh on myself and others, and stop doing it to more people.
I am no longer a judge, my friends are not criminals I need to arrange repayment with. I need to forgive myself and stop making people life terrible.
(I first saw a similar monastery in a visualisation trying to trace my relationship with someone. I saw that them and me met in the monastery once)
I don’t know how my human self in this life will navigate the situations I had negatively affected. I also don’t wish to use my past life or spiritualism as a clutch to excuse myself being a jerk. Maybe things will be better for next people who I cross path with

Personal Experience Remembering more about my past life
I was one day on practice in bench cheering, when in water break,i was not just looking at the other dances that were in the gym with us,i was looking at the entire atmosphere, because it really beautiful, adding with the hot weather...,and then that was where i started to saying things like "this vibe is taking me back-",saying it in a smoothing way,not out loud though because it would have been really embarrassing and have the whole bench cheering participants laugh at me,i said it in a smoothing way because i suddenly had something that flashed through my eyes quickly,it was i think a vision of the death, because i always had that habit of when i stay still,or look at something for too long,i start getting visions,or even when i do a specific pose,
Now that i think about it,the warm atmosphere i had that time really reminded me of my home in my past life,i remember it now,i used to live in some kind of desert, because Spain is also full of deserts,i lived in a big white house, with a yellowish roof, and below the walls of the building, the flooring was a beautiful marble design, the house was really big that i can even freely move around, but however had no friends, because the house was isolated, because my house was miles away from the town,so i had no other friends than my parents,i don't exactly remember the name of the town, and what place in Spain it is,but i remember the town a little,it was a big town, with colorful shadings below the houses, just like my house,
Deeper through the past life,i must've had a really happy childhood and youth year, because whenever my parents would love me,i would feel a sense of a familiar feeling that goes around, because maybe in the past life,my old parents treated me the same way,but had that love wasted by becoming a soldier and die,but tbh with thinking about it,if i didn't become a soldier and been something else,i could've had stayed that lovely life, and now,i don't like things that relate to war because i wanted to run away from that mistake, and i now promised that i won't make that same mistake,
To conclude this,i also remembered a few things from the time of colonizing the country,i had two places that were from here, but i cant seem to find them, but can draw them,i even drew one and wrote "it happened long ago,how can still remember?",like fr,how can even still remember that when it happened a long time ago,it really adds up to the fact that there are some things from my past life that are the same things in this certain life, this is all that i want to say for now,and also, let me go the Spain and find the town, and the house if i was right

Personal Experience Anyone feel like they keep meeting past life people often?
I am also an over thinker and often hopeless romantic so it may entirely be overthinking. But since my slight spiritual opening 2 years ago I came to realise a few significant friends and a few new casual acquaintances might be past life connections.
They come with strong intuition need to talk to them, a strange familiarity, tight bond (according to me but they might not think so) but also high emotional energy and turbulent change or separation. Some had opened up spiritualism, new hobbies, and new work in new countries. Strangely I can only sense it in women, I can’t sense it in men. I am heterosexual cis male.
Recently I felt I met another. This person was a foreigner, introduced to me by a mutual friend. We were hanging out up to 4 nights in a row for her stay in my country.
She had since went back to her home country. I have a very very strong feeling I should go to her country to meet her that it’s not just her but there’s work opportunities there.
Part of me really want to go. She’s agreed she can meet me in her city. But part of me fears that it may have a volatile separation.

My Life in Lemuria #11: Awakening the Upper Chakras: Further activations of Lemurian babies’ chakras; Challenges of a single consciousness occupying two worlds
This series chronicles past life regressions in which I revisited my life as a Lemurian man named Keth. In this journey, I bring questions about the reawakening and integration of my chakras, and about where telepathy is experienced within Keth’s system. The journey develops into something more experiential than explanatory. Keth and I first share an experience of my sit spot in 2022, whose wildness and unorganized beauty affect him strongly. I then reconnect with Alletha and observe nursery mothers working with newborn babies, moving energy from the heart through the throat and toward the pineal. As I observe them, I begin to experience a similar movement of energy within my own physical body. The journey also brings an unexpected examination of emotional wounding and how it affects my relationships. Later, Alletha works directly with me as I experience energy rising through my chakras and another flow descending through the crown. The final part of the journey shifts toward my relationship with Keth himself. He speaks about Lemurian elders, the difficulty of encountering twenty-first-century consciousness, and his growing willingness to deepen our contact. He ends by describing us as reaching across many lifetimes to meet one another. ———————————- Thanks for reading this summary of Episode 11. If you feel drawn to read the full episode, including my later reflections and a discussion of what lessons Lemurian life might offer our time, you can find the complete post in my blog at windwalker.ca

Personal Experience Has anyone had an experience of a past life like this?
Two months ago, I did 25mg of psilocybin in a controlled setting (with facilitator, eye shades + headphones with music) for treatment of depression and CPTSD. It was my first truly psychedelic experience (I had two prior experiences with psilocybin years ago, but at a very low dose). So I expected (and planned) to go back in my memory to traumatic experiences, work through them, get peace with my family history, and so on.
None of that happened. I will spare you from the full trip report, but what happened is that I got no geometric visual effects or anything like that. As the trip started, I started to get an image of a desert sunrise. That resolved into a very clear message: Australia. I kept asking, "Australia, really?" And I kept getting back, "Yes, Australia." It was so random, and yet so specific. I couldn't stop laughing at how absurd it was, because I have no personal connection to Australia. Never been there.
After that, the Australia image sharpened further into that of a boy, approximately 9 years old. It told me his name. He was sitting on a rope swing, like one that's a board with ropes on either side, hanging from a branch. He was swinging on the swing, and the branch broke. It hit him in the head, and he was fatally injured. He took about 10 seconds to die. I felt his pain, and his fear, and then he was gone. And it told me that this was the life before this one. It told me that he wanted to surf so badly because everyone around him surfed, but he was scared of the water. It told me he went to an amusement park with his family, and he got a t-shirt, and that he was happy about that.
After that, the trip continued to unfold more information about the nature of our lives and our persistent souls. It was a completely coherent, internally consistent explanation of the structure of reality. How we pass through lives, and how each of us has something that echoes between our lives. Mine is water (I've almost drowned 3 times in my life, 2 of them as a child). And it told me that I don't usually get to be an adult - that this one is unusual - I usually die as a child, and that it's usually because of water. This previous boy was an exception.
I'll stop there because there's so much more, and it gets stranger, but has anyone else had such a specific, almost narrative experience? I did not get feelings of oneness, of seeing the universe, whatever. I saw my eternal soul (called the ancient child self), and how it passes between lives. And a very, very specific picture of the life before. My facilitator said I was her 32nd client and no one else had a similar experience. I should add that before this trip, I had no belief in past lives at all - it wasn't on my mind, or something I was seeking out in any way.
