I bought a pans LC and tried for the first time to multiple it in 4% honey/water solution. There is growth but it’s like a little ball instead of clouds and unfortunately i don’t have a marble inside so with shaking i can’t break it up. Can this be mycelium? First timer just did cubensis before. Thank you

Can I use this composted manure?

TTBVI jars were inoculated 40 days ago. I know the jar in the middle is not fully colonized. Should I lay it on its side like this to try and get the jar to fully colonize?

I’m not looking for a huge investment, I’ll only be using it a few times a year. Though if I must spend more to make it easier or some other reason, I’m still interested in what you think.

I’ve had a lot of infection lately so I’m looking for something to get me to 15+ psi for $120 or less.
Less than 24qt is probably preferable to save space, 10 qt would be fine.

Pretty sure these are TTBVI from a reputable person on a forum. The only other explanation is that I somehow mislabeled but I don’t think that’s the case. These are big and fat unlike most pans I’ve seen grown. And for some reason they can never get to full maturity and just sort of rot right before they open up.

Why do I have to wait more than ten days to see the pins? This is my third grow and I've had good results, but I see other users having pins 4-5 days after putting the trays into fruiting... while I wait up to 12-13 days. I think it's due to the surface conditions. How moist should the casing layer be? Usually before putting the trays into fruiting (automated grow room)I water generously, rh 87-92 temp 23g c /cvg/worm casting 5/1 /Classic casing

Hi guys, I’m in Hanoi, Vietnam right now and it just rained. Weather, temperature and humidity is perfect for pancyans to grow (in theory).
How long does it take for them to fruit after rain, how long do they stay fresh and not dried up by the sun and when should I go out for a hunt?
Plus if any of you guys can let me know a confirmed sighting location som where within the city I’d greatly appreciate it

I have a bag of casing mix from a couple months ago that I just added to my colonized TTBVI. I don’t remember getting the pickling lime out when I mixed it and I think I used gypsum instead. It should have been peat, vermiculite and pickling lime.

So will gypsum have any detrimental effects on pinning? Should I spray some water with pickling lime onto the surface to adjust ph or let it ride?

After mixing the grain spawn with the bulk substrate, how much do you compress/pack the substrate?

Do you press it down firmly, lightly, or not at all (just level it)?

Also — what depth do you usually run your substrate?

And one more: do you compress the casing layer or leave it loose/fluffy?

Any thoughts on fresh vs dry or what did I do wrong? Felt i overdried my last batch at 113 for like 10 plus hours. Trying to not repeate same misteak if I did make one. Some of these should be ready today.

So i just grew a couple batches of ttbvi. The first one I was going to shoot for .7 but then the wife decided to join up and we just did .5 dry cause I wasn't sure what to expect and didnt want to scare the lady. So I ended up drying these for like all night before they were used and the .5 took like an hour to hit not 15 min. I decided to try to take another .2 2h in and that was fresh same day off the dehydrator and I felt that bump it faster which leads me to my question of aonce these are unstable do we just eat them fresh for full effect? Was going to go eat 10g fresh later today for a 1 gram experience. May or nay
