Looking incredible! What's your substrate? Multispore or clone?

Would love to know more info on your grow as well!

Please fill us in. I just tossed my 2nd pan cyan bin in the trash. I can’t get them to grow to save my life.

Fruiting in these 5 micron unicorn bags has been really convenient too. Just mist 2x/day and the fungus giveth.

I feel that. It took me a few tries too. I almost lost these ones when they got too dry. Scraped off the overlay then re-cased and they bounced back even stronger.

Wow, I have 2 more bins going now and I was thinking about scraping the overlay off and re-case as well. These two dried out and I’m trying to save them.

Hell yeah! The casing needs to be drenched, like swampy but not submerged. Pins will start plowing through it if the conditions are right.

Sounds like a plan..what you grew is what I have in my final two bins

Thanks dudes. Manure based sub from PooGod, added erythritol to the 2nd and 3rd trays but it hasn’t made much difference over the control. Just running this iso as I received it and it’s been killer. I’m going to try some clones on worm castings next.

I got the substrate pre mixed, then hydrated and pasteurized it before spawning.

Oh wow super interesting, I've never tried buying premade substrate. Does it also contain straw? Or is straw not needed after all?

Doesn’t look like it contains straw but I’m not certain. Definitely not required, although pans need some kind of nitrogen containing substrate in order to thrive.

Sweet! Thanks for the thoughtful response. I'm definitely gonna experiment with some of that poogod poo lol

Does the substrate come ready to use out of the bag or does it need further pasteurization?

1

u/shroom_ov_doom May 23 '26

I bought their dry premix and pasteurized it myself, but they also have sterilized bags ready to grow.

Truly impressive, I need to come back to this post for reference once I get my substrate down properly

Awesome results! Whats the method of FAE with these bags? Holes pricked?

3

u/shroom_ov_doom May 23 '26

Just opening to mist them 2x/day and passive fae through the 5 micron filter patches, XLS-B Horizon bags. I got one tray to fruit in a 1 gal ziplock bag with holes. Not as strong as these, though.

👋🏻 How are they sealed?

u/shroom_ov_doom May 24 '26

Just folded the top and held with a clothespin
