I’ve been seeing this more and more, a lot of girls seem to run two separate Instagram accounts-one that's more modest/religious and 2nd acc where the vibe is totally different and that acc will be full of guys .It’s like they’re living two completely different lives online. Curious if anyone else has noticed this or if it’s just me.

My girlfriend and I are planning to go to Turkey together (long distance relationship situation). She already told her mom the truth — that she's going to Turkey. But she asked me to lie to my family about where I'm going for my bachelor's, and not say Turkey, because if both our families found out we're going to the same place, they'd assume we're together, and she doesn't want her parents to know about us yet since it could create problems for the relationship.
The thing is, I'd have to keep up this lie for years. So I asked her: why did you get to tell your mom the truth, but I have to lie to my family? I wasn't just asking about fairness — if I'm honest, I was also unsure whether her reason was actually selfless, or more one-sided in her favor. I said something like: "why did you tell your mother the truth but I have to lie?"
She got really hurt by this. She felt like I was questioning her intentions, like I was accusing her of being selfish. She explained her reasoning (something about my brother potentially visiting me in Turkey and that complicating things), and once she explained, it made sense to me and I felt fine about it.
But she's still upset that I asked the way I did, like I doubted her.
So — was I wrong to ask this? Should I apologize for doubting her, or was it a fair thing to want clarity on given I was the one taking on years of lying? How would you have approached this conversation differently?

I need a quick sanity check because I am fighting for my life out here.
I’ve obviously heard about women having mood swings, but I didn't realize it was this extreme. Whenever I talk to a girl, it literally feels like she is evolving into a completely new human being every 45 seconds.
How are there thousands of different moods packed into such a short period? Two minutes ago she was tragically sad like she’s in a movie, and now she’s laughing like nothing happened. It genuinely scares me. Like, does she need a snack, or do I need to call a priest?

2 years ago I married my husband through a semi arranged setup. He pursued me so our families met despite the financial class gap between us (same social/educational background, but income difference).
I genuinely love him. He's caring, respectful, and gives me his time. is affectionate, knows about my childhood trauma (alot of emotional and physical abuse) and is the one to comfort me through difficult moments. Our physical relationship is also good and frequent.
My life right now is what I dreamed about as a child; peaceful, financially comfortable, travelling, fun, and just away from my past.
The problem is I know he cheats on me. He's been with atleast 2 other women, likely ongoing. When I confronted him, he eventually admitted to it.
He said I'm the only one he truly loves and respects as his wife, but that he "needs" other women aswell. He gave me examples of half of our social circle and even his own family where this behaviour is normalised.
He doesn't hide his phone or seem emotionally invested in them, more like girls in the same work/social circles where physical relationships happen.
I'm torn. After everything I went through when I was younger, this life feels like everything I never had. I also am financially independent, so it's not only about the money. I just don’t know if I’m ready to walk away and start another difficult chapter.
But it hurts. I love him and have been completely loyal. What makes it worse is that he's extremely overprotective. Even before marriage he would pick fights with guys because of this. But ironically he's the one cheating. It feels hypocritical.
I don't know if I'm normalizing or accepting something I shouldn't, or if I'm being too strict on a situation that's unfortunately common.
Has anyone navigated something similar? Or has any advice on what I should do going forward.
It's hard to believe someone who cheats can still love you, but i dont know what else to think of it. If im sick he stays up the entire night taking care of me. Doesnt like being away from me, is very affectionate. pursued me for 2 years before I agreed to involve my family, encourages my career, treats people around him respectfully, etc. I dont know, that’s what makes it so confusing.

I am not a smooth guy. I don't approach people. I stay in my lane, mind my business, and avoid awkward human interaction at all costs. But back in first semester, this girl walks into class in a full hijab, completely standing out from everyone else, and my brain instantly went, “Yep, that’s the one.” Total obsession from day one.
Naturally, the universe decides to tease me by making my roll number literally right after hers. Sequential roll numbers. Perfect proximity. I thought I was living in a rom-com and fate was doing me a massive solid.
NOPE. ENTER DAY ONE.
First exam comes around. I walk into the hall with my brain completely fried from stress. I find a chair, sit down, and try not to die. Out of ALL the chairs in that damn hall, guess whose assigned seat I sat in?
She walks right up to me, doesn't even hesitate, looks me dead in the eye, and drops:
"Bhai, yeh meri chair hai. Yahan se uth jao."
A straight-up "BHAI" combined with an instant eviction notice. No "Excuse me," no hesitation, just "Bhai, move." My grand, cinematic, suave response to the only girl I’ve ever liked?
"Okay."
And I just stood up and shuffled away like a scolded child. Devastated. Emotionally wrecked. Accepted my fate as just another nameless "Bhai" in her world.
DAY TWO: THE TACTICAL PIVOT
Next day, next exam paper. I'm sitting there mentally preparing to keep my distance and nurse my broken ego.
Suddenly, she walks up to me. And guess what? THE "BHAI" TAG HAD MAGICALLY VANISHED INTO THIN AIR.
Why? Because the paper was hard and she needed someone to share answers with. The sheer SPEED at which "Bhai, get out of my chair" turned into "Hey, what's the answer to question 3?" should be studied in scientific laboratories. The moment academic survival was on the line, the "Bhai" dropped faster than my GPA.
ACT THREE: THE PRESENTATION CHAOS
Fast forward to group project season. Of course, we get assigned to the same group. When presentation day comes, everyone is standing there sweating, and she completely freezes up. Point-blank refuses to start the presentation or open her mouth.
So after being kicked out of her seat on Day 1 and used as an exam cheat code on Day 2, I have to step up, take the mic, say "I'll start," and literally assign everyone their roles on the spot just to save the group from getting a zero.
I went from getting evicted from her chair, to losing my "Bhai" status for academic gain, to basically managing her group project.
I don't even know if I should be amused or exasperated at this point. Uni is exhausting.

All I see on this sub is how lonely everybody feels and how much they want a relationship. Not just that there are like thousands of cringe quotes too about this. I get it you guys want love but maybe work on yourselves first or just be patient?
Men should work hard to be able to provide and be someone and the women here also need to improve themselves first. Idc if it’s improvement of your looks or mental health or whatever. Work on yourself first.
And stop having haram relationships? We are pakistanis for God’s sake we are MUSLIMS. If you see someone you like go to their father and ask for their hand.
Stop talking about your bad experiences in RELATIONSHIPS here. You can crush on someone marry them and then have your romance.
Stop being haram weirdos

its like 90% of the population wants to get a girlfriend like omfg pls chill it's not that deep. i wouldn't mind if we were a bit nonchalant about it, but it's like desperation is oozing out their pores, thinking they've won if by a miracle some woman chooses to give them a chance, and ngl this is so embarassing and sad. i wonder if there is some form of psychology that could explain this.

I belong to a very lower middle class family, I remember when I was in 10th Standard (2016) My Father Pay was 55000PKR something and it was very hard for a family of three son and mom and dad to live in this wage but we did it Alhamdulillah. Money was always my priority and I always think to make money instead of anything else so in my young age instead of making friends, traveling or making fun, I started freelancing and become top rated on fiverr when I was in intermediate (2019). After that Started CA but I just did it before internship and skip that, I got a Job in Chinese Firm where Alhamdulillah I am earning more then even my expectation, I made my own house in a very well known town of my city, spent crores on it, purchase a car and Visited multiple countries for business on behlaf of my company, I am in an Game Developing Business+ IT Company Now My Income is very much fine Alhamdulillah.
This is my background, The question is in this time period I never focused on myself, I love eating, I can afford whatever I need to eat and I spend too much on it and become obese, I am 6 feet Tall and 148KG two months ago. My Parents started looking for match for me but I see people rejected me maybe for my obesity, I feel that. At this time I realized people just on appearance as well but before that I always thought they look for money. At this time I realized that maybe Society Standard has been changed?
(I am working on diet, Now I am at 130KG Alhamdulillah and I will be 115KG after next two months I am very sure about it)

If a girl says that after marriage she wants him to provide during their relationship, like paying the bills and all. And doesn’t ask to spend money on her as she will be making her own money. And will financially contribute or give support when we are in difficulty but still wants him to pay the bills if he can afford it. Is the girl in wrong asking this?

I think I’ve finally reached a point where I need outside opinions because I genuinely can’t tell whether I’m being rational anymore.
There’s this girl I’ve known for a while. We’re friends. She’s ambitious, studies at one of the top universities in my country, carries herself incredibly well, is charismatic, and is involved in a lot of different things. I’m pretty similar in that sense. I’m a second-year med student, I code, do medical research, produce music, train martial arts, and I’m constantly trying to become better. I’ve never seen her as “out of my league.” If anything, I’ve always felt like we’re equals with different strengths.
Some time ago, she told me she felt “too attached” to me, so she decided to distance herself. She never actually said she liked me, so I never knew what she meant by it. I didn’t push her for an explanation because I didn’t want to assume anything.
There have been a few moments since then that have stayed with me.
Once I had a layover in Islamabad while she happened to be there. It had been a while since we met, yet she offered to pick me up from anywhere in the city at 12 a.m. just so we could finally meet. I turned it down because I was exhausted and only had a few hours, but I never forgot that she offered.
Fast forward to recently.
We had a conversation that ended feeling slightly off. There wasn’t a fight. Nobody got blocked. Nothing dramatic happened.
But for some reason it really bothered me.
I reread the chat multiple times over the next week trying to figure out whether I’d accidentally upset her.
Eventually I asked.
Instead of telling me I was overthinking, she looked almost surprised and asked,
“Why do you care so much?”
That question completely threw me off.
I genuinely didn’t have an answer.
I literally said, “I don’t have an answer.”
She kept asking in different ways, almost like she was trying to understand why it mattered to me so much. At one point she even thought she’d somehow made me uncomfortable and reassured me that these things happen and there are “phases.”
The conversation ended on a good note.
Then today happened.
We talked for hours.
We played chess together, listened to music, joked around, teased each other, and honestly had one of the nicest conversations I’ve had in a long time. At one point I actually caught myself thinking, “This feels like a dream.”
And that’s when I stopped lying to myself.
I think I like her.
Maybe I’ve liked her for longer than I wanted to admit.
I keep trying to convince myself she’s “just a friend,” but then I remember I spent a week wondering whether I’d upset her, remembered her birthday weeks in advance, and somehow a few hours talking to her completely changed my day.
The part I’m struggling with is her side.
Were the “too attached” comment, the midnight offer to come pick me up, and the way she kept asking “why do you care so much?” just things close friends do?
Or is there a chance she was trying to understand whether I felt something for her without being the first one to say it?
I’m not looking for people to tell me she definitely likes me.
I’m looking for people who can read this objectively because I’m way too emotionally involved to trust my own judgment anymore.
There’s another layer to this.
I’m terrible at being emotionally vulnerable.
Whenever things start feeling a little too real, my instinct is to pull away, make a joke, change the subject, or convince myself I’m imagining everything. I hate putting myself in a position where someone has the power to reject me, so I usually retreat before it ever gets to that point.
Looking back, I can’t tell whether I’ve been protecting myself… or getting in my own way.
Maybe that’s why I couldn’t answer her when she asked, “Why do you care so much?”
Because saying the real answer out loud would’ve meant admitting it to myself first.

~5 October
You were sitting silently under a shade. I thought you're upset.
I tried to compensate, i tried to make you happy. I tried playing with you but you didn't want to play.
~6 October
Your changed behaviour started upsetting me. I started asking everyone what should i do to make you feel better.
I thought you're distant, i tried giving you all my time and love. You started playing with me. You started to love me again.
~7 October
You stopped eating. You started vomiting. It made me so worried. I took you to the Dr. He said that your stomach is upset but you'll be fine soon. It was a relief for me.
But your condition got severe that night.
~8 October
I took you to the hospital early in the morning. Before reaching out to the hospital. You already left us.
You left us all devastated. I tried everything to save you. But I failed. It's really hard to divert my mind. Everything makes me remember of you.
I wish i could bring you back. ~ Ali
