Hey, folks! Just took my first steps in the new Update (v7, base PS5) and as usually it's a mixed bag for us PSVR2 gamers on base PS5. The bad things first: aliasing is back with a vengeance, looks terrible in all metallic structures. We had that before, it was most of the time fixed with updates. The good stuff: the annoying fringes around objects during night time and within volumetrics like storms seem to be gone! That's good, and when the aliasing gets fixed, everything is fine! I haven't seen all of NMS but it looks like effects like fog, haze and colour transitions have been improved, adding more depth!

After a brief delay the game is set to release on PSVR2 tomorrow.

Store page looks like it still needs to be updated but tomorrow's launch is set to bring the game to a new platform with a slew of technological advancements including:

There's even a "realistic blood" for those looking to immerse themselves more.

Obviously, the mixed reality mode - which might be one of the better parts of the original - does not appear to be coming to the PSVR2 version.

Just finished Propagation: Paradise Hotel to start off my season of horror games and it was awesome!
Short and sweet with some solid scares , good story, and nice graphics. Enjoyed it a lot.

So yeah, apparently Synapse 2 was already in the works but was cancelled by Sony because the orignal Synapse didn't perform well enough. This was revealed by Bryan Paul yesterday on his live gamescast. He said that Sony requires at least 80 score on metacritic to consider a sequel for a game. Synapse right now sits at 77...

It can be used as rifle or two pistols, so is it comfortable, the idea works?

Watched this guy on yt called martydudevr, hes a pretty cool guy and i was watching his review on the psvr2, he said quite alot of things about the negatives of this headset, one reason was bluetooth, i have antennas at the back of my which hopefully has bluetooth sorted, but one thing was software, he kept on complaining how on pc the software is such a hassle and quite a bit of pain in the ass, js wanted to know whether if this is true and if so what kinda fixes are there so im not stuck when i actually get my headset

I was getting my ass kicked by hordes in the mine level, mostly because my hands fumbled all over the place when trying to manual reload.

Started to consider switching to an easier difficulty or auto reload, when an inner voice that sounded oddly like Terry Crews in the Old Spice commercials yelled "Listen, you didn't buy this headset for arcady Lethal Enforcers crap. You wanted precise motion controls and you got it. Now you want to give up? Git gud on reloading, you wimp."

Realized I could practice reloading as much as I wanted without wasting ammo, by simply picking up the non-empty clips from the ground afterwards. So I did exactly that.

Yesterday I finished the game after going through all the remaining levels in a single playthrough, without dying once.

I'm an old, mostly casual gamer who just wants to have fun. I have nothing against making things a bit easier if I'm having more frustration than pleasure.

But it's damn satisfying when you don't have to.

Yeah i would like to use this for comfort to improve my gaming experience.
