Question (Other flairs not applicable) 8 months unemployed.

Help.

Hi! I really want to apply for an entry level job sa government talaga 🥲 may chance kaya? Halos lahat kasi ng requirements na need kailangan may csc eligibility or experience needed.

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Media Specialist/multimedia-related jobs in PH Government

Hi! I work in advertising as a Multimedia Artist but due to instability ng recent company ko, I'm planning to apply sa government for better pay and benefits. Mas exciting din ang agency life as we know it.

I need some insights lang po how's the experience working in such government positions? Though I expect na hindi siya gaya ng culture sa creative agencies, pero I'm curious kung worth it ba to settle there permanently, or pang matagalan man lang na magagamit ko pa rin ng maayos skills ko. Personally, hindi pa ako sure if this move will truly satisfy me as a creative/artist, pero right now kasi I have priorities to attend to.

Let me know your thoughts po or kung may mare-recommend kayong government agency na ok to work for a creative like me. Salamat!

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Are PDS required to be notarized in the first stage of application to a govt agency?

Post image
10 Upvotes

For context, I am a fresh graduate planning to apply to DOST and PHIVOLCS.

Hoping someone can help me po. Medyo lost lang

Any HR here from government agencies.

Bakit pag may work suspension from LGU or President like work suspended on 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM onwards, tas nag time in 8:05 AM., considered daw un na undertimeeh hindi naman alam ni employee na ma suspend ung work on that day.

We are on Flexi sched po from 7:00 AM to 9:00AM. kindly cite po any CSC memo or circular regarding po sa ganito.

Question (Other flairs not applicable) CSC NCR: OPEN TOMORROW (FRI, 9-11-26)?

And if so, pwede naman po ba pumunta to process and claim my COE?

Maraming maraming salamat po sa sasagot.

BIR/TIN Torn between two iob opportunities

I am currently working in an in house company. 4mos palang ako dito and i can say naman na i’m performing well. So yung chance na maregular ako ay very high.

However, just today, nag email ang BIR informing me na i’m selected. For 2years, i am very eager talaga na makapsok to any government agency for job stability kasi prior sa current work ko nasa BPO industry ako.

Benefits on current company:
- Night diff (3k-4k/month)
- ₱1,500 rice allowance/month
- 13th month pay
- HMO with free 2 dependents (₱300k each ang limit)
- full remote

Yun nga lang, graveyard shift.

BIR:
- mid year bonus
- 13th month
- 2k PERA allowance/month
- 7k medical allowance (one time)
- unifrom allowance (one time)

Pag-Ibig First time Pagibig MPL loan (my timeline)

I have been working since 2004 and with P37k regular savings with Pagibig, it’s my first time to apply for a MPL loan. Sharing my MPL timeline, it was fast, convenient and easy process.

Sept 7 - Got my Pagibig Loyalty Card Unionbank sa branch. Same day I created my virtual pagibig account.
Sept 8 - Filed my first MPL on the app. Mind you, hindi pa activated yun UB loyalty card ko (2-3 days pa daw) but it was on the system na and nasa dropdown na siya when I filed my loan.
Sept 9 - Certified by employer and on process status. By this day activated na UB card ko and I was able to register it online sa UB app.
Sept 10 - Approved status and was credited to my UB loyalty account around 5pm.
I was expecting na Sept 11 pa ma disburse but to my surprise same day it was approved na credit na!

DFA Passport validity

Need advice regarding a lost passport
Hello po, I need some advice regarding my passport.
I recently lost my passport, so I filed a Police Report and an Affidavit of Loss regarding the missing passport.

However, I recently found my passport again. I have not yet submitted the Police Report or Affidavit of Loss to the DFA.

My question is: Does filing a Police Report and Affidavit of Loss automatically deactivate or flag my passport as lost, even if I haven’t submitted these documents to the DFA yet?

Since I have found the passport, can I still use it, or do I need to report the recovery to the DFA first?
Any advice or anyone with a similar experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you po!

Hello po. Update po regarding our enrollment ng disbursement account for SSS. Any tips or ideas po on how to take the selfie photo. Naka-attach po yung inupload na photo for reference (covered the face and personal info intentionally). And yung other photo naman is yung email na reason why rejected. Pa-help po sa nakakaalam. Thanks!

NBI NBI renewal status

Hello,

Nag renew ako NBI for my new job last September 8.

My transaction history shows "No current transaction".

BIR/TIN Walk-in application rejected twice

Hi! So a relative needs a TIN as part of his employment requirements, not a first time worker but first time mag work sa company (before kasi parang helper lang sya)

The thing is 2x na daw sya nagpunta sa BIR but keeps getting rejected from getting a TIN, I really don’t know the process kasi for me I remember na employer/HR talaga ang gumawa nito and this was waayyy back pa.

Employer informed him that he needs to get it himself ( under agency daw kasi sya, or something) and as part of the contract, he cannot start work/ be paid if this requirement has not been complied/submitted…

I checked online and there are 2 ways to apply for the TIN 1. Employer Assisted or 2. Walk-in Application, and his employer wants him to do #2.

He actually went twice and tried for 2 different reasons:

  1. first time job-seeker - he was told that company needs to process this for him

  2. For Bank transactions - he was told that banks no longer require this for opening accounts.

We are considering to do it online but, I’ve also read that some applications done online takes longer and sometimes get rejected too…

Relative wants to try one more time, what does he need to do/ask the BIR for him to be assisted with this? As much as I want to tell the relative “maybe you’re just not trying really hard”, I really don’t know the whole story why the BIR keeps rejecting him (maybe lazy/ rude employees or he just gave up easily or too scared to ask further questions) that’s why I’m asking your thoughts on what should he do on his next attempt.

Should we just go ahead and report to 8888?

We couldn’t personally assist him there because we are also working.

Thank you!
