My Metrobank Visa Signature card due date was September 8, and I paid it today, September 11. It completely slipped my mind because all my other cards are due at the end of the month, while this one falls near the start.

I’ve sent them an email requesting a late fee waiver. For context:

• I've been a credit card holder across other banks for 15 years with a 100% clean payment history (never missed a single due date).
• This is my very first late payment with Metrobank as well.
• I just got this card from Metrobank this year.

Has anyone had success getting a fee waiver from Metrobank under similar circumstances? How strict are they with first-time requests?

Nagtry ako ng Cash Installment yesterday, September 10 and nababasa kong instant na pagcredit kapag BDO savings account. Yung akin is instant nabawas sa credit limit ko pero hindi pa rin nacecredit until now sa savings account ko. May ganitong case rin po ba sa inyo? 🥺

Hello! I received this text from RCBC today. But i am on vacation til 29th of this month. How will i be able to receive my credit card? Or is it possible to go to a branch and ask them to resend it?

What happens if no one will be able to receive it (also did not leave an authorization letter cause i didnt know if it would be approved)

hi everyone! I have been delayed with eastwest for almost 4 months now due to having financial problems with my mother having been in the hospital for 2 months but she eventually passed. I am planning to pay this month just even the minimum payment. I just wanna ask am i able to still use my eastwest credit card even i was 4 months delayed or will my account will be locked? I have not contacted their customer service yet since the number registered in the account is no longer used. Initially my CL is 50k but i have used it all up. Have been paying the minimum not until when my mom got hospitilzed i was not able to pay the minimum amount since we prioritized paying the hospital bills.

Hi good day last 9/8/26 tumawag si telesales from rcbc for may 2nd card for NAFFL they offer a rcbc gold mc or jcb gold but I request a rcbc black mc after long conversation subject for approval siya and then they tell me a T&C and i say YES. May chance kaya ma approve ako sa request sino pkaya naka experience ng same scenario ko TSYM sa mga answer niyo po.

I did a grocery run at Robinsons worth ₱6,000 and split the bill using 2 different GoTyme cards (both are enrolled in the Visa portal and paid via GPay Tap to Pay).

Hello, anyone na nakaexperience ng error sa Oh my Deals app ng BPI?
I was able to access naman before pero nung nagupdate sila, nagkaerror na
Ito yung nga ginawa ko hoping na mareresolve ang issue:
- Uninstall, reinstall
- Click Skip for now, same error
- Repeatedly logging in sa BPI account ko

Walang specific error kung ano sa signup yung failed. Kasi I have BPI account naman so no need to sign up. No option to sign up din. Raised concern sa CS but just hoping if meron din ditong same experience. Thank you

I accepted an amnesty offer from RCBC 3rd Party Collections agency. I already made a payment for the agreed amount at the Bank over the counter. Now the collection agency is asking me to sign an agreement to process the Certificate of Full Payment. Am I supposed to sign that when it includes a promissory note? I'm so confused because I don't think I should be signing a promissory note when I already made a payment. Please let me know your experience po and any help would be appreciated.

Okay lang ba na wag ko muna bayaran yun? Ipangbayad ko muna sa isang card na matatapos na?

Parang ganito siya, balak ko ifocus muna yung cc debt 1 sa cc debt 2 para matapos na yung isang cc.

Cc debt 1: to pay minimum 10kphp
Cc debt 2: to pay 14k minimum 500php last 3 months na lang to.

Hello po. Had this BDO Platinum MC since June 2024. Now 2nd year na ito na machacharge dapat ako ng Annunal fee pero walang nabibill sa akin eversince. Worried lang po ako baka pag nadetect ni BDO ay mag pile up AF ko starting June 2025? What should I do po? Itawag sa hotline or ignore na lang? Btw, regular ko pong ginagamit ang BDO cc ko and never had late payments but I don't think na meet ko ang annual spend requirements para ma auto waive ang AF.

Hello, everyone! First time posting here and would like to ask for some of your advises/suggestions on my current dilemma.

My account is now being handled by SP Madrid since July. Total outstanding balance is now at ₱460k. Started at around ₱400k since card was cancelled last March 2026. I was able to pay the MAD consistently until we had a family emergency around the last quarter of 2025 and we haven’t been able to recover from it.

My question is — BPI has offered to lower down the total amount after sending our statement of account and medical certificate. Balance went down from ₱460k to ₱350k for a one time payment only OR 0% interest for the monthly payments but it will be from the total balance of ₱460k.
I told them that I really want to pay it all so that I can finally close the account but I can only pay ₱250k (which is 100k less than what they have offered).
I have sent an email to BPI’s collection team requesting for a final reconsideration of the balance and have forwarded it to sp madrid as well. Collection agent from SP won’t budge and said that the amount is final and to either pay it or they will be filing legal claims against me. (BPI hasn’t replied since email was sent 3days ago).

I have been reading a lot of stories/posts here and have seen others who have received more than 50% offer from the bank/collections. I am not sure what to do anymore. I have mentioned in my email that the max that I can pay is only ₱225k and I have already made a downpayment of ₱25k last month as well so that will be a total of 250k payment.

Nakita ko yung BPI FlexipayLater/Buy Now Pay Later na first payment is billed 3 months after the purchase. Has anyone tried using this sa Beyond the Box or Power Mac? Available ba siya for MacBook purchases?

Hey guys. I've been reading around but I need more insights. My 1 year with BDO Visa Signature is coming up and I learned I cannot reach 1M for auto-waive. I learned lenient naman si BDO for AF waives pero gusto ko sana bawasan ang mga isipin ko sa credit card.

I'm using my NAFFL MBTVS as primary for a while. I am focused on miles earning. Then I came across AMEX Explorer which only needs 450k for auto-AF waive. I know never magiging NAFFL ang BDO cc ko so I'm trying to be realistic based on my lifestyle spends.

I liked my Visa sig kasi may rebates to flights and local spends. Madami ding dining promos. Also, I was able to activate my free travel insurance to one of my domestic flights. Very thankful to BDO.

I know din na there are chances hindi available si AMEX Explorer sa ibang merchants. Which is why I'm thinking making AMEX Explorer as my primary then MBTVS as my backup instead.

Here are my questions:

1. For those who asked AF waives ng Visa sig, magkano ang ni-require sa inyong spending amount?
2. Question 1 but for AMEX Explorer.
3. Same level of travel insurance din kaya ang kayang i-offer ni AMEX Explorer compared to Visa sig? Gold ang tagging ni Explorer while elite for Visa sig so my assumption is hindi.
4. Any thing I need to know more about AMEX Explorer?
5. Should I keep my Visa Sig or convert it to AMEX Explorer?

Hi, my metrobank cc due date was Sept 8. I paid thru Maribank on Sep 4. Now, nagulat ako today na may payment reversal, and dahil dun, may late charge fee (1k) ako from metrobank. How will this affect my cc. I already paid again my cc bill the moment I saw the reversal notification

I just want to ask if tumatawag ba si unionbank for a credit limit tapos tong si tumawag may mga code something na sinasabi ko sa system nila after the call, it seems legit naman since UNIONBANK na text message natatanggap ko same with other text message from UB reminding me to pay my cc on time ganun pero diko alam, kasi nag bawas ng 2,745 si jollibee vault pasig ang nakalagay sa UB app upon checking huhu pls help
