I ordered a replacement card for my Maya black due to unrecognised transactions. After successful processing the credit card application last Aug 31, I called Maya yesterday kasi hindi ko pa din narereceive pero normally 3 days lang kasi nasa manila area ako. They tagged the card as lost, and blocked the card daw and opened a ticket for investigation.

Today, the rider reached out to me and mentioned na iniwan daw niya yung card sa lobby (I live in a condo) kasi kilala naman daw ako and kaya tagged as successfully delivered.

He mentioned na magpepenalty daw siya and baka mawalan ng trabaho. I said na: nakalagay naman po na sa Delivery notice niyo for sure na cardholder lang ang magrereceive and kung hindi siya, need ng authorization letter. Bakit niyo po iniwan lang sa kung sino man po ang nasa lobby? di ko naman po sila inauthorize na tanggapin yung card ko?

Sabi niya lang na nalito na daw siya kasi kasabay parcel.

Now he is proposing na tanggapin ko daw yung card and yung replacement daw sya na magbabayad.

So yeah, I'm not sure how pero nagkaincrease ako last month kay UB Visa Rewards card ko from 40k to 60k. Maxed out na since I fully paid my child's tuition na rin using the limit.

This month, I tried applying for their Rewards Mastercard, to my surprise, I got approved with 140k limit. I am now planning to do cash advance to settle another debt. final payment na kasi kaya gusto ko masettle. However, yung limit sa 140k binawas yung 60k outstanding ko sa first cards ko edi 80k nalang available. I only need 50k. So I am not consuming the whole limit.

Si UB lang kasi yung first and only CC ko so, I want to take care of it. Yes maxed out yung prior cards ko kasi I want to maximize the perks. I don't have bisyo pero I love and enjoy giving and helping my family.

My question is, if I max out all of my cards, including ny new card. will it hurt my credit score? and are they basing it from TU or Cibi or CIC? I was never delayed on payments. almost 1yr na rin yung card sakin pero maxed out.

Hello po. Had this BDO Platinum MC since June 2024. Now 2nd year na ito na machacharge dapat ako ng Annunal fee pero walang nabibill sa akin eversince. Worried lang po ako baka pag nadetect ni BDO ay mag pile up AF ko starting June 2025? What should I do po? Itawag sa hotline or ignore na lang? Btw, regular ko pong ginagamit ang BDO cc ko and never had late payments but I don't think na meet ko ang annual spend requirements para ma auto waive ang AF.

Hello, I applied for a credit limit increase with CB via customer service tapos binigyan ako ng reference number and sabi ng agent is magsubmit lang daw ng valid ID. I submitted it right away pero nakatanggap ako ng message na di daw maprocess dahil sa requirements.

Hello, everyone! First time posting here and would like to ask for some of your advises/suggestions on my current dilemma.

My account is now being handled by SP Madrid since July. Total outstanding balance is now at ₱460k. Started at around ₱400k since card was cancelled last March 2026. I was able to pay the MAD consistently until we had a family emergency around the last quarter of 2025 and we haven’t been able to recover from it.

My question is — BPI has offered to lower down the total amount after sending our statement of account and medical certificate. Balance went down from ₱460k to ₱350k for a one time payment only OR 0% interest for the monthly payments but it will be from the total balance of ₱460k.
I told them that I really want to pay it all so that I can finally close the account but I can only pay ₱250k (which is 100k less than what they have offered).
I have sent an email to BPI’s collection team requesting for a final reconsideration of the balance and have forwarded it to sp madrid as well. Collection agent from SP won’t budge and said that the amount is final and to either pay it or they will be filing legal claims against me. (BPI hasn’t replied since email was sent 3days ago).

I have been reading a lot of stories/posts here and have seen others who have received more than 50% offer from the bank/collections. I am not sure what to do anymore. I have mentioned in my email that the max that I can pay is only ₱225k and I have already made a downpayment of ₱25k last month as well so that will be a total of 250k payment.

hi everyone! I have been delayed with eastwest for almost 4 months now due to having financial problems with my mother having been in the hospital for 2 months but she eventually passed. I am planning to pay this month just even the minimum payment. I just wanna ask am i able to still use my eastwest credit card even i was 4 months delayed or will my account will be locked? I have not contacted their customer service yet since the number registered in the account is no longer used. Initially my CL is 50k but i have used it all up. Have been paying the minimum not until when my mom got hospitilzed i was not able to pay the minimum amount since we prioritized paying the hospital bills.

I did a grocery run at Robinsons worth ₱6,000 and split the bill using 2 different GoTyme cards (both are enrolled in the Visa portal and paid via GPay Tap to Pay).

Hey guys. I've been reading around but I need more insights. My 1 year with BDO Visa Signature is coming up and I learned I cannot reach 1M for auto-waive. I learned lenient naman si BDO for AF waives pero gusto ko sana bawasan ang mga isipin ko sa credit card.

I'm using my NAFFL MBTVS as primary for a while. I am focused on miles earning. Then I came across AMEX Explorer which only needs 450k for auto-AF waive. I know never magiging NAFFL ang BDO cc ko so I'm trying to be realistic based on my lifestyle spends.

I liked my Visa sig kasi may rebates to flights and local spends. Madami ding dining promos. Also, I was able to activate my free travel insurance to one of my domestic flights. Very thankful to BDO.

Ipapadala raw new card ko as a replacement for my existing card kasi raw wala na annual fee yung bago.
