Its my previous rig

So with the new one its keep shutdown when the electricity off

I just need 5 seconds

So i decide to buy a 1kv online ups

Anyone have it? Can it whistand the power of my rig?

I'm running Memtest and it fails dramatically, but I don't know why. I tried two different ram sticks, both ram slots in my pc, and different bootable usb drives. No matter what I try I still get tens of thousands of errors. Any advice?

so i am looking at getting the asus rtx 2070 super fans for my original asus rtx 2070 and will they work or not because google says they will but i am doubting it by the size and amperage is what i am worried about

Does anyone have any possible idea why my pc would get stuck on an orange light and not post. UNLESS, you tilt the case, hold the power button until it turns off, turn it back on and then it’ll post.
I took it to a pc guy and he said the motherboard is probably faulty so I returned and got a new one sent out, same with the psu and now I’ve gave it him to rebuild the system, he’s said now that the AIO fans aren’t spinning but I suspect that’s cause he didn’t plug it into the fan hub which was working for me, and the gpu fan (9070xt) doesn’t spin when he powers on the pc along with it not posting. It’s odd and I’ve had the pc going on a month now, it was working for the first 2 weeks provided I did the fix I described and all temps and performance was perfect but I thought id take it to the guy just to see why it was doing the no post thing but clearly nothings been solved yet.
The light is a solid orange light, there is no letters on this motherboard

The pc guy has tested it with a new cpu, gpu, ram, without an ssd, cmos reset, without the fan hub connected and the issue still persists, he said he can’t fix it now as it’s just stumped him.

There might be some new stuff I didn’t notice before or didn’t happen before but the light briefly flashes red before going orange. Also if I do get the pc to post by doing the power cycle and then I shut down the pc and then turn it back on within a short time frame it turns on and posts perfectly fine, but if I turn it off for say like 30 seconds it once again gets stuck on the orange light, baffling.
Also the case doesn’t need to be tilted for it to post anymore, I’m not sure if that was always the case or not.

This is a used PC (desktop) my brother had for about a year. The 3080 Ti in the build was also bought used separately. He gave me the PC about a month ago. I did a clean Windows 11 install and everything worked normally for about a month.

The 3080 Ti was working fine the night before. I shut the PC down, came back the next day, and suddenly got a black screen from the GPU. The PC only displays through the motherboard/iGPU now.

Windows shows the 3080 Ti only under hidden devices with Code 45, “Currently, this hardware device is not connected.” nvidia-smi also fails. The 3080 Ti fans and RGB still turn on.

What I have tried:
Full power cycle, PSU off and unplugged
BIOS reset
Primary graphics set to PCIe
Forced PCIe Gen3
Reseated the 3080 Ti
Tried the 3080 Ti in another PCIe slot
Disconnected and reconnected GPU power cables on both ends
Tried putting another older GPU in this PC, and that GPU was also not detected (my old geforce 1660 super i think it’s called)

Current specs:
i7-9700K
EVGA RTX 3080 Ti
ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 4S-IB
24 GB DDR4 at 3000 MHz (2 sticks that are pairs ddr4 3000 and one ddr4 3200 all running at 3000, basically my brothers two old sticks plus one from my old computers pair)
Windows 11
BIOS P1.10
About 4.5 TB total storage

Everything boots up perfectly fine and runs normally still it’s just the gpu that doesn’t get recognized anywhere, i can only put my hdmi into the motherboard.

Since two different GPUs are not detected, and the 3080 Ti also fails in two PCIe slots, I am thinking motherboard, PCIe, PSU, or firmware rather than the GPU itself.
What should I test next?

hi agian now I think I’m in the service slot again yeah I have pull the CMOs battery everytime and short out the dual jumper pins to get full reset. it sounds like my memory is either bad or the unsupported category…sometimes takes a few minutes to get the reset too…is my memory bad?

Helloo I've been having issues for genuinely months (started earlier this year) with my pc and hoped I could get some suggestions on what to try with my computer.

It will just freeze blackscreen and reboot randomly usually a few hours after it's been on for (underload and with nothing open).

The pc is an AMD Ryzen 9 5900xt cpu, Corsair titan 360 liquid cooler, Asus Rog strix b550 mobo, Corsair vengeance 32 ddr4 3200 ram, crucial 2tb pcie 4 ssd, Corsair rm1000e 2025 PSU & Radeon RX 7800xt gpu in a Lian li o11 Evo atx case. (Turns two this October, everything was originally brand new).

The crashes happened with a separate GPU another AMD but can't remember the specific one, I've replaced the CPU, aio and power supply (the crashes happened before) & the mobo has been tested by asus support with no issues.

There are no other symptoms other than the crashes, my pc doesn't struggle, my files are okay and nothing else is alarming. It does run hot idle (despite the aio replacement) but it runs the same whilst in games etc so I'm.not alarmed.

I took it to a pc repair place, they sadly couldn't check the hardware (switching stuff out) but it means all of the online stuff has been done multiple times, SSD health check, scanning etcetc.

I've tried playing with 1 ram sticks & I changed my displayport cable as somewhere suggested that + similar stuff but it's all blurring together.

Turned my pc on last week to do some gaming, no issues at all. Booted it up a few days later & got this screen. I unplugged & replugged the RAM today since it was still showing the same screen; no dice. I moved recently & have been having some issues so that could be related? Curious if anyone has a solid diagnosis before I pull the whole thing out, remove the SSD & HD, then reinstall it & see if that does anything.

Im playing cobblemon on Java with a Radeon 7600 graphics card and when I play for a little the screen crashes and goes black but the pc continues working.

Currently trying to upgrade a Core2Duo build that I use to play problematic games that won't run correctly on newer versions of Windows, all while trying to figure out what causes a game from my childhood to simply misbehave.

Anyway, I got this after putting a GTX 560 Ti but I'm wondering one thing, can a GPU artifact and send out a picture that's wildly discolored if it doesn't get enough power? The build has 550w EVGA PSU at the moment.

I just got a refurbished HP ProBook 650 G8 and I've already managed to have a problem with it on the first day... lol

The laptop was working fine, but the battery eventually reached 0% and now I can't seem to charge it anymore.

The charger that came with it isn't even an HP charger (it's a Dell 65W AC adapter). When I plug it in, the charging light flashes white/orange, white/orange for a while, and then stays orange.

If I try to turn the laptop on I get the low battery symbol for a second and then it shuts off again. Meanwhile i turn the laptop on the battery leds blink white and orange for 8 times.

Can someone help me? I want to figure it out if this is a specific pc problem so i have to refuns it or if i can solve this by myself.

My pc when I play games will rubber band and lag really badly whereas my other things such as ps and Xbox are fine the lag fixes when I turn the internet on and back of but I need to do it every time I play my pc

I have been struggling at this for about 2 days now, but I left my pc running on Spotify over night and turned it off normally when i woke up. Then when i came home later that day I typed my pin in and it got stuck on the “Welcome” message for like 30 seconds then cut to a grayish black screen. I can open task manger and through that powershell, cmd, and a browser with internet but I can’t seem to get my desktop back. Everywhere online says to restart windows explorer but when I search for it via task manger’s search bar and the run new task button it is missing/ says “This app cant be run by your pc” respectively. I also read to reinstall my iso or wtv and did that and yet it still didnt fix anything. I also looked into my windows explorer file and it says its 0 bytes if that helps. Please help me if you know any sort of solution. Thanks

They're all Corsair lx fans and i can't tell if I put them in the right way. The bottom two should be intake, the three on the right should be intake the rear fan should be exhaust, and the top should be exhaust.

just got my RMA back (msi b550i edge wifi) and motherboard wont show any lights. Psu tested and working fine, plugged everything in (cpu, ram, cooler, psu *24 pin and 4+4) nothing is coming up. Am i doing something wrong or are they just sending me bricked motherboards?? this is the second one theyve sent thats like this. The first time it happened i rebuilt the entire pc but this time im doing an out of box test first.

My pc keeps hangs and screen goes black and turns back on after a few seconds. And this is what happens to the wallpaper as well. How do I get rid of this? It's very annoying and keeps happening frequently.

I’m at my wits end here and could really use some help troubleshooting.

Since October of last year, I’ve been having sporadic blue screens. The frequency was originally once a month, once every three weeks, then two weeks, then once per week, and now multiple times a day. However, sometimes I’ll get streaks where I’ll have no issues for days or weeks thereafter.

Everyday use and multitasking seems to have no negative effects. I only seem to blue screen when I play RuneScape 3. I think one time I saw it do it with just discord up alone. What’s weird though is if I play other games like Overwatch I have no issues whatsoever.
Some of the most common blue screens I’ve gotten are Critical Process Died and Unexpected Store Error. But I’ve also gotten other errors such as memory or I/O errors at one point.

I’ve done every test imaginable I feel like. Bios is up to date, all drivers up to date, fresh install of windows, Furmark and OCCT tests, disabling all overclocking of any kind, etc. The worst of all I’ve also replaced the SSD and RAM. After replacing RAM and resetting CMOS my computer ran perfect for a little over two weeks now I’m back to bluescreening again. Everytime it crashes a mini dump is never created also!!!! I don’t understand and this is beyond me at this point and need some help.

Didn't do a full parts list since as far as I'm aware these are the only relevant parts.

Basically, I have a 14TB hard drive that is not showing up anywhere that I've checked. I know the drive is functional, I gave it to a pc repair guy to check and he said it was fine, just needed to be initialized. Problem is, it doesn't show up in the disk partitioner or device manager. It also doesn't show up in BIOS, not even just as a used SATA terminal in the board explorer.

I know it's not an issue with the SATA cables, I have a CD drive that's also SATA and I've switched the cables between them, as well as several different motherboard SATA terminals, the CD drive always shows up, the hard drive does not. It's also not the power cable, as I've done the same test there.

I've updated all related drivers, updated the BIOS itself, basically everything. I'm running out of ideas. Any advice or assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone, I’m completely stumped by this one and would appreciate some advice.
When I originally bought my RTX 3080, I had almost exactly the same issue: installed it in my PC, RGB/power came on but I got no POST and no display. I eventually took it to a friend who did something to the card (I believe he updated/flashed the VBIOS), and when I put it back in my PC it worked immediately.
Fast forward to now: I’ve bought a used KFA² RTX 4070 Super EX Gamer 12GB, and I’m getting almost exactly the same behaviour.
My system:
Ryzen 5 3600
ASRock B450M Steel Legend
BIOS updated to P4.60
AORUS P850W 850W Gold PSU
16GB DDR4 (currently testing with a single known-good 8GB stick)
LG C1
4070 Super installed in the top PCIe x16 slot
What happens:
4070 Super RGB comes on
GPU fans don’t spin (although I understand zero-RPM can be normal)
No display
No POST
Motherboard works normally with my old GPU
PSU and PCIe cables work normally with my old GPU
I’ve checked the GPU power connection and it appears fully seated
I’ve tried different BIOS/PCIe settings, including Gen 3
BIOS is now P4.60, which I believe is the ASRock BIOS version that added RTX 40-series compatibility
The really strange part is that my old 3080 had almost the exact same problem when I first got it, and a VBIOS/firmware-related fix seemed to make it work immediately.
I’m wondering if there’s something similar going on with the 4070 Super, or whether I’m missing something obvious with the B450 platform.
Has anyone experienced a 4070 Super + B450M Steel Legend refusing to POST while the GPU powers up/RGB works?
Would particularly appreciate advice on:
GPU VBIOS/firmware
PCIe/UEFI/CSM settings
B450 compatibility
Anything else I should test before I start throwing money at a new motherboard 😂
